Well I don't think my friend was wrong saying JE was bawling and everyone on set was crying at these scenes today!

And what do you know -- another day of Tracy tomorrow unspoiled! I think JE is going to be shining more to come and heard she was amazing today (not that we expected any less)

Just watched on You Tube, couldn't wait to get home! I have mixed feelings, not about today's show, but I guess I have to accept that Lacy are over! And today is the last time they will ever be together.

Jane did kill it, and Tony did good too!

No falling tears from Jane, but she was still phenomenal. biggrin.png

I am sad though... some job stuff just made things difficult, so I am extra emotional.

For me, it's not even about the end of Luke and Tracy; it's about Jane and Tony not sharing any more scenes. They really are great together, and I'm going to miss that.

Edit: Hi funny!!!!

Impressive list, MSQ. You covered nearly everything! Some of those I haven't seen or even read about. florida? Kidnapping?

Does anyone have clips they would be willing to share? (Jen's DVDs start with Nov. 2005, and I REALLY want to see what transpired before that, starting with Vegas.)

2009 - I'd add that scene in June when Luke tells Tracy he's not leaving her for anybody. I think it would have been better if they didn't have an audience for that conversation (Holly was there, I think), but I like it for the emotion behind the words expressed, by both of them.

And I count 2014 as relevant, even though it was mostly Fluke, since it was always Luke.

Well, I knew today would be wrenching, there was only one way this could go, and it wasn't Luke and Tracy together. Even knowing what was likely, I still cried. A lot. More comments later; I'm really trying to put it out of my mind, for now, but I had to come see what the rest of you thought, first.

re pancakes - oh, so now we're going to bash Luke, whenever possible? Luke never made breakfast, yeah, he must have been a terrible husband.

I just have to say that I hate the phrase "one thing led to another." whenever and wherever I hear it! Find some other way to say it, writers. And I'd be more interested in seeing where this SL with Paul goes, if he and Tracy hadn't slept together the first minute Paul's in town, and before Luke's departure.

Seems like there's too much revenge and grief sex, on this show. :) I don't really get how the two go together--especially when the people involved are virtually strangers!

If it had been with Luke, I'd have been okay with it. Grief/break up lovemaking would be understandable, and that would have made me cry, too, but I wouldn't mind. And we didn't get so much as a kiss!

OT - MsQ, yes! I AM very ready to go home, to introduce the puppy to her new home and her new pack/family (I have a partner, and also another dog), and get back to normal routines. Three weeks is too long to be away. Just five more days!

    • Another lot of skipped episodes to look forward to when the time comes on Videoland. So annoying. They have skipped so many, especially in  season 15 where they skipped 19 episodes throughout the season.
    • thank you for uploading the rest of season 12!!! I hope i can get them soon the links down! Thank you again for posting the B&B classic episodes to revisit!!!!
    • Hmm, okay.  BTW, my only problem with Kai & the surgery story is where is this guy's family? And, another BTW, I think I may have inadvertently added to that rumor from last year about a male descendant of Justus Ward. You see, that is an idea I could really get behind! Like I would pay to see those scenes. And, true, I did hear it ... [sheepish grin]

Yes they can. While rare, its not like soaps in the past havent said F that and used flashbacks of a scene even when a recast has been done. OLTL used to do that
    • Well, I am glad to know that & for it to make sense, so thanks for the info &  the perspective, also. At the end of AMC 1.0, I thought the new young talent was really quite good, but I missed Eden & NuBianca just ... well, I wasn't 100% sold on her & Bianca was so important to me. But then, Tad & Dixie were also important & yep, there's another problem, for me I mean. I'm not your typical AMC fan but I hung in there anyway. I know what you mean because it wasn't as good as it once had been but it was still Agnes's show in Pine Valley. Some of that is a bittersweet nostalgic clinging to the past, I guess. By that time I'd been through so many show cancellations. AW, Santa Barbara, PC, The City, GL, ATWT.

Betsy Snyder, when she was at DAYS was part of the WGA winning writing team before she died, tragically far too young.
    • Yep Edmund and Tad went under cover to infiltrate the... Willow Lake (I think?) old folks community scandal that was exploiting Phoebe, etc.  (Which at one point led to Edmund rescuing Brooke from quicksand--common around Pine Valley I guess

) EDIT maybe I'm wrong.  I found the quicksand scene

But for the story all I can find is Edmund going undercover as the gigolo "preying" on older women, Eduardo (no one would recognize him with that disguise and name ) so the drag must have been.. a different story?
    • But then he HATES the original Heather Webber (Cher's half sister played her, right?) and we know what happened when Robin would step into the role a year after this.  He does seem pretty spot on about actors who show promise otherwise.  It's interesting he knocks OLTL early on (though I loved all the recently released episodes from this era we got) but does give a lot of credit to the actress playing Cathy despite earlier complaining about her story.  And over all, while quite negative, his various pros and cons on the shows sounds about right with what I know of the shows at this time. This was a July dated issue of the magazine but and I know they date mags a month or two in advance--obviously when he wrote this he didn't know Lovers and Friends was gonna go off the air (in May I think).
    • You know one of the soap outlets posed that question just last week: Who do you want Trina with Spencer or Kai? And, of course, the picture of Spencer was NAC. I said, well, a lot. I chose Kai. I said that Spencer had been an entitled brat & that some people valued him over her, when I valued her above all others. I guess we'll see.
    • You're right. The only thing I can think of is if GH finally decides to bring back Spencer.
