In the Monday August 15 US episode (Friday Aug 12 Canadian), the closing credits have Mishael Morgan missing.
She's no longer listed with the alphabetical contract cast (nor is she listed in the guests for this week).

There were quiet rumors for months that she was leaving the show. I don't think the show is invested in her and surely nobody expected her Emmy win. I hope she leaves and finds something better.

Of course right after she wins an Emmy. Of course.

Like @Chris B was saying there’s been of rumors of MM leaving going back to even last summer.  Amanda has been a major flop, and the same regime that has already fumbled with Loren Lott and Sasha Calle just has never been that invested in Amanda and are ignoring the fact they probably need to get Leigh-Ann Rose on contract before it’s too late. I get MM didn’t want to play Hilary again, but letting the character be so flat and boring is plain lazy on the part of JG and crew.

Please let this woman book a great primetime or streaming role.

Sort of wish DAYS had just pulled her as a new Lani, honestly.

Whatever her personal curiosity as an actor, I don't believe MM wouldn't have played Hilary if they'd written it. They gave her a boring twin to neutralize the audience investment in a Black female lead and I said so from the jump.

Well, folks probably already know how I feel about this. I will say one thing, I am glad she has the Daytime Emmy so now she at least has something out of the mess that is Y&R that she can parlay into something else, hopefully much better.

This is so shameful and embarrassing (but not that surprising) from Y&R. Glad I no longer watch.

I usually DVR but wind up clicking the delete button and never watch it. The last episode I saw was the anniversary episode of ED and BM.

That was the last episode I watched too. Actually the last episode of any soap I’ve watched. I dunno. Just sad.

Does not surprise me in the least. Her return was weak any way, and was essentially a rehash of Devon & Hilary. And that is the result of poor writing.

there was a blind item a while ago that someone that had been given the "pink slip" b4 would be let go again... I think a lot of people guessed MM, and they were probably right? Y&R is just pathetic, at this point. I hope B&B snatches her up and rebuilds their black cast around her as a tit4tat Y&R taking CH.

But didn't she just win the Daytime Emmy?

Yes, in June. Mishael Morgan is the first Black actress to win the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Performance by a Lead Actress in a Drama Series
