Yep, I suspect that Doug Davidson, Kristoff St. John, Christian LeBlanc, and Kate Linder were ALL dropped to recurring about the same time, but because of their longevity, the show extended them the "courtesy" of not making the status of their "demotions" public.  Doug Davidson made his own status public on Twitter -- said it had been that way for several months -- and soon after he made his public revelation, the credits were revised to reflect what he'd already revealed.  Kristoff (according to Bryton James) was 'terribly worried' about his job security at the time of his death, which seems to indicate the exact same had happened to him.   Christian and Kate seem to be just rolling with the flow, but obviously they're not being treated like contract performers either, regardless of what the credits show.

Grand opportunity for a Noah shirtless scene missed lol. Who sleeps in a dress shirt? Y&R needs to chill with the tormented dudes in need of a Celexa prescription.

Today was the first day I actually sensed Adam/Sally chemistry, so that’s something.

Someone needs to get Noah's manpain out of the Teriah storyline.  They made the Teriah engagement party last week all about him. Blech.  It made it seem like the show was trying to ungay Tessa, and it was disgusting to see the comments on social media from homophobic fans cheering this on.

No I don't want to see a man fantasizing about breaking up a lesbian couple.  No. No. No. NO!

I really hated that Noah's wet dream was shown because of that.

Thankfully in today's show (Friday CDN) they showed Teriah's new residence - the apartment above Crimson Lights, which is now roomier and prettier than when previous characters lived there.
And Teriah made love twice. Yes!

    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
    • Don't know if this exactly fits here, but it is connected: Does this abandoned building look familiar? It is one of those explorer videos - and the outside may look VERY familiar if one watched GH in the '70s and '80s!
