Members All My Shadows Posted November 26, 2021 Members Share Posted November 26, 2021 AMC - Mark, more regularly/permanently - Kelly Cole (I wasn't holding my breath waiting for them to bring her back at the time, but her return for Myrtle's funeral and then Francesca James appearing as a new character on the reboot made me wonder why Kelly didn't step into Myrtle's role as shepherd of lost sheep for the last year or two) - Trey Kenyon, I remember him being given a relatively short sentence for his crimes and assumed that meant he'd be back someday, and I'm still surprised he didn't considering so much of the show began to revolve around The Curled One - Jeff Martin, I mean I get it that they were ready to move on past the travesty of the unabortion, but I figured they'd try to bring him back for Martin family events, like Jake and Amanda's wedding ATWT - SORAS'ed Christina Hughes! I am surprised she never came back though with all the Princess Gina crap they have pulled through the years. Does it even matter at this point? Stefano is dead and John has plenty of kids. It wouldn't even be dramatic. Marlena took Paul and Leo being/potentially being John's kids without so much batting an eyelash, but I guess it deserves an ending lol. Between the fan poll deciding the father of Hope's baby, the Greta mystery, flirting with Chloe as Stefano's daughter, retconning the fan poll to make Bo the father after already making it Stefano, all the baby switch stuff, and about half a dozen other examples, I was so burnt out on baby/paternity stories.
