Not sure how I feel about this given that it's RC, but I'm wondering if this might just be a one-off episode for Hallowe'en.

LOL! Well we knew this would happen at some point, folks. It was only a matter of time. And yes, especially given RC as the headwriter. 

I, uh, look forward to seeing how they pull this off in 2021 with a dime store budget at their disposal. Here comes Marlena floating above the park bench! How high do those giant tree walls go?

I was thinking it was one of those horrible Halloween Specials too. But it's too soon for this promo. Days has no budget to do this justice. Not that i was ever fan of this story.

Oh doG, here we go again...

Part of what made it work was the production they had then.  The soft focus, gothic storytelling and excellent sets.

And of course Ron would get back to this.

Doug's behavior is supposedly related to Possession 2.0.

I said they should've done this revisit years ago, with Will instead of Marlena. You could've taken a somewhat more subtle approach. It's an obvious go-to but I worry they don't have the money to do it justice. You also can't do it as a one-off (something both JER and I believe Ron have teased before in fantasy sequences) - if you go back there you have to go all the way.
