It was very odd. The scenes just didn't work. B&B should stop with the love scenes. It's going to be very hard to tape a show with social distancing in place.

You know what I just realized...Chad Duell must have to pull double duty (depending on what GH's  schedule is like during all this) If they are using him as Wyatt's double!

Today’s episode was much better than the two held episodes. The social distancing didn’t bother me too much and I liked the humor of the Sally scenes. I hope they go full on Morgan/Sheila with her. That could save this story.

Yeah, the distancing is obvious, but the complaints here are too much, in my opinion. What do you want them to do? We either deal with distancing or we get more wedding repeats.

The acting was not atrocious, unless you think it’s always horrendous. If that’s the case, why the hell are you watching the show? The acting was no better and no worse than it always is.

I think it's the new normal on soaps. I also started tuning in after a very long lapse (years) and I will say I was shocked by how bad things have gotten for the remaining soaps. From the aesthetic, acting, the stories and just general interest or feel just don't seem the same at all. Even Y&R which was never my soap, I could always appreciate for how great it was visually has started to look cheap and even other production areas are lacking.

As for BB, I haven't watched since the recap episode on Monday, but I will try to catch up out of curiosity to see the new filming protocols in place.

I tuned in briefly - why is Bill the one at the hospital with Steffy and why would a doctor let him see her?  They're not related and have they even contacted Ridge or mentioned Taylor?  Silliness.

    • I am blown away that Christie Clark is 51, and she debuted 39 years ago. They gave her a lovely script today.  But, I could not think of any other examples in culture of someone able to jump right back into the skin of a character, after virtually retiring from acting years ago. I was trying to recall if Carrie left for a bit with Anna after Roman died (because she wasn't at Bo & Hope's wedding), and then returned as a pre-teen Christie?  Or if she was just SORASed off-screen?  But, whenever I see the character I am reminded how much more trauma she's endured than Sami, and yet she remains such a nice person.
    • Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense. I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.
    • Rewatching some of 1991 I had to appreciate what a strong week March 5-12 1991 was. Cassandra dies, Nina shoots David, Sheila switces the babies, and drunk Nikki all occurring simultaneously. 1991 and 92 were pretty strong overall.
    • Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!
    • I really hope after the secret comes out their interactions don't stop
    • BAHAHA  I needed that laugh today. Talk about one note.  I would put Derek and Ashley a notch above Dani. Dani's scenes are basically rinse, lather, and repeat for 60 episodes and counting.  It's as if she was transported from the soap opera Passions onto this soap.  MVJ should put aside her friendship/admiration for Karla and look at the fact that this character isn't wroking as written.
    • Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.
    • You could always tell whenever Douglas Marland enjoyed writing for a particular actor, because he'd pull out all the stops for them; and Julianne Moore was no exception.
    • I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.
    • Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.
