CBS Daytime on the whole was so awesome in the late 1980s/early 1990s. There was the game show block and all four daytime dramas were amazing to watch.

OMG, I can't believe we get to see an early 1980s episode!

An all Victor week should include EB's first episode, Victor sees Nikki at the Bayou, EB's first scenes w/ TL and ED.

I never thought much of Mark Derwin's acting on Y&R and then a few months after his role on Y&R ends he shows up on Guiding Light as a detective. Talk about contrasts in characters LOL. It was surprising to me how he became so popular on GL, with winning a 1993 Soap Opera Digest Award for Hottest Male Star (he beat Antonio Sabato Jr. for that award) and being nominated for Lead Actor at the 1993 Daytime Emmys.

What I'm dying to see is the episode where Crazy Edward blows himself up. We know that episode has been digitally transferred, since clips form it were used in Melody's anniversary episode. It's so creepy and gothic, and they cut the clip right before Nikki grabs the urn and throws mommy's ashes all over him, sending him into a psychotic freak out. The clip from the episode in question is at :28.

Ooouuu that 1981 episode will be great to see regardless of what/who all is in it, but my fingers are crossed for Vanessa! Classic Liz Foster would be a nice sight, too.

Kudos to whomever decided to pull this one out. I’ll be they had to do some fighting to get it on the air.

I'm hoping if these classic episodes get decent ratings, Sony might see the value in getting the back catalogue out there in some way. I'm not going to get my hopes up, but this is a pretty rare opportunity for them to see if there is interest in these older episodes.

I wonder if we'll see the episode where Victor spanks Nikki to show her who's boss.

This was when Victor moved her onto the ranch on a strictly platonic basis, Nikki was doing her sex kitteen act to break his defences  so he decided a little ass  paddling was in order!

Maybe that tape has been destroyed !!

    • Portugal qualifying was the only shocker. I'm really happy for Iceland. IMO, the automatic finalists – Spain, Switzerland and Italy – had the best performances. I love the studio version of Azerbaijan, but on stage, it was a disaster.

    • Randy (Doug's friend who works for Joey) -- Joey told Randy weeks ago that Joey's plan was to get Doug into so much debt that Doug would be forced to get Vanessa's real estate holding turned over to Joey, to use for money-laundering.  That's been the plan all along, which the viewers knew.  The only thing new is that Joey finally told Doug this. I think Joey is written badly.  I also think Jon Lindstrom is doing "Now I am going to act menacing".   But I don't really feel the menace.  It's too overdramatic and it doesn't feel like a real person.  Jon is a fine actor on GH, so I don't know what's happening here -- the entire BTG mobster premise is badly designed/written.  I don't know if Guza pushed for a mobster storyline?  Or did Jon?  (Jon wrote a novel about Hollywood mobsters). It just doesn't fit.  It feels (to me) like this storyline for Jon was just shoved onto the canvas but it doesn't fit all all. Monday's scene of Mona coming into the "casino" to check up on where Leslie supposedly lost money in the slot machines -- and Randy explaining to Mona that there are no slot machines, there is nothing but the card room.  I had to laugh because they had characters comment that it's just a card room and not a casino -- the show is now acknowledging that there's nothing there.  If they are going to do this, then have it make sense for Fairmont Crest residents to visit a high-end glamourous casino, and not a random room with one table. So what money is Joey laundering? A while back, Joey told Vanessa that he knows about her sexual philandering because owns the escort service that she'd been using. But I don't care...  I'd just prefer that the entire mobster storyline go away.
    • I caught up this past weekend. The show is better written, but I have been bored with the show. I did notice it ranked in the top 5 again this week, so that's a good sign.
    • I can't take this show seriously. I truly miss WJB writing this show. Bradley didn't inherit his dad's talent.
    • Maybe if there had been a good close up or two
