Had Pissant and Pratt not dropped that element....I could buy that ad her soft spot. Pratt didn't drop it. We watched Hilary and Jack grow closer for months this year culminating in a kiss for them while Devon stood helplessly on the sidelines being made a fool of again by Hilary.

Had devon been treating her like crap for a year and she was teaching him a lesson then it'd make sense. Meanwhile that wasn't the dynamic of their relationship. She treated devon like crap every since the coma. He's the injured party who has already forgiven the unforgivable. So to have her pull these stunts and WIN makes her look like a woman who can't be pleased and undeserving of anything decent and he looks like a simp with no self respect or self worth. It doesn't work if the show wants to keep them together. If it's leading to a break up then it was perfectly written. I agree. It's the context of when Hilary gives the side eye or the smirk. I don't think anyone here is arguing for the sweet-as-sugar Hilary we saw after her coma. Again I say, she needs a buddy. Preferably (for me) another woman in her age range. 2 hours ago, KMan101 said:I really liked today's episode I also liked the scenes at Jabot and Brash and Sassy. Cane and Billy's fight was LOL but I did like Victoria smashing everything. She at least looked a little more business and I sort of liked her with Jack. I just have such a hard time buying Amelia as a tough business woman that Victoria needs to be but they're trying. Soooo happy that Jill is on Monday! Cane didn't bother me today but this whisper [!@#$%^&*] he does has to stop. I can barely hear him at times. At least when he was yelling I could hear him. Gina Tognoni looked so refreshed today and I liked the blue dress she was wearing and how she's back to a shade of blonde. I also like that she's toned down playing Phyllis like she's a man in drag. That's been going a long way. Yup! I thought it was a good show too. I have nothing to add about Jabot/B&S, those were good scenes, and I completely buy Jack ripping up the lease. It doesn't need any further explanation as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure why some feel it's a weak premise. GT looked fabulous and on toning down the drag. But you're right, there were more times than not when she came across very masculine. @ryanc thanks for the previews :-). I'm not strong enough not to sneak a peek lol 58 minutes ago, ajsp35801 said: Pratt didn't drop it. The reason why him being her "go-to" needs time. When Hilary was shunned after the Neil Killed My Momma fallout, I liked Jack stepping in and giving her a chance. His mentoring her had potential. But Chuckie fucked it up.
December 17, 20169 yr Member It feels so good to be excited about this show again. It's all mostly working for me. Weirdly I thought it could never be fixed after the hatchet job Pratt put it through, but nope, it's pretty much fixed. And oh so damn entertaining. Today's show was rocking.

But Chuckie fucked it up. Yes, I've wanted a female friend for Hilary to confide in for a full 3 years now. Since she's Chelsea's Neighbor, I'll take her. Shelly and Jean fucked it up first by having Hilary kiss Jack randomly in 2014. Chuck was just using history. But, you're right, Jack doesn't need to be her confidante. Especially when she's using him to make Devon jealous. Which was a beat played in their scenes a few times. One thing though, I do love the disdain/incredulity Bryton puts in his voice when Devon says Jack's name. Very subtle but extremely effective acting. If they're going to play that beat then they need to go all out. I hope Devon pays Jack back by interfering in his plans for Fenmore's. Edited December 17, 20169 yr by ajsp35801
December 17, 20169 yr Member I'm sorry, but I can't stand Faith. Such an annoying-ass too precocious for her own good soap kid. This is why kids this age should be seen and not heard on soaps.

I feel terrible about it but I can't stand that kid and don't understand why she gets more focus than some adult characters.
December 17, 20169 yr Member Me too. I wanted to say how annoying she can be like most soap kids are but I know the little actress IS talented and has done some other things (Dolly Parton's two movies) but lawd, kids really do need to be seen and not heard on soaps. I think writers, or someone, thinks it's adorable to see the kids act and talk like adults but it's really not. I had the same issues with GH and their insane focus on the kids for that brief period of time. They had long scenes and episodes. It was way too much.

December 17, 20169 yr Member I wouldn't mind Faith if this were the only time of year she got major airtime. I think kids should be on in November and December and then sent back to their Swiss boarding school. I also like the other little girl who plays Faith more.

Once the younger set is revamped, I think it'll definitely be much closer to being completely fixed! 32 minutes ago, Juliajms said: I wouldn't mind Faith if this were the only time of year she got major airtime. I loved her sass towards Avery in 2013 when she was leaving and Faith goes "GOODBYE Avery..." This actress is definitely talented but I agree with the comments about her being a little annoying. She just always comes across as spoiled and bratty. Her problems feel so insignificant even thought her parents are clearly fcked up. It's just hard to buy into it. CG was so much better when she was a young actress. 36 minutes ago, cassadine1991 said: I wonder if they'll age Faith since Reveal hidden contents they have aged Reed I'm ready for the show to SORAS Faith to a teen. They should recast Summer first though..
