I was responding to the person who said they didn't like cheaters and proceeded to call neil a good guy as if he isn't a cheater. It was relative.

I seriously doubt that there is any way this could be written that could make you get into Devon and Hilary...unless I'm confusing you with another poster. Which is possible.

Slow your suspect commenting role. I want Neil to get revenge because its fun, I'm still team Hevon and can't stand his old ass. He shares part of the blame for rebounding with Hillary and rushing her into marriage after spending so much time trying to hook her up with Devon. Let me not even get into how sick it is that he got with her when you consider her age and the fact that it was his involvement with her mothers death that caused her to have so many emotional issues. Once the affair is out I want them free of anything having to do with him and I hope he ends up on the backburner.

Yeah, that's probably part of it, but even in that scene where he was outside the entrance of the AC and watching Hillary and Devon embracing through the glass. They had no clue he was there but just the look on his face (LMAO). He was supposed to look anguished. Instead, he just looked deranged! laugh.png But he got my attention!

And at Jabot when Hillary was trying to decide whether to skip past him, that was so funny and I know it wasn't supposed to be. It's still funny! The look on his face, I tell ya!

Are you sure he isn't supposed to be unhinged? Because I am getting stalker crazy vibes. And I am enjoying it. If KSJ wasn't a 24 year vet and Neil a beloved fan fave for just as many, I swear I would want to see Neil go Baldwin/Fisher brothers stalker attempted assault crazy on Hilary and Devon. This is very entertaining.

whoa. Hillary is an adult and Neil didn't force her to do anything. If she has daddy issues that's on her. The only thing Neil did to her mother was leave when the woman passed out and died from alcohol poisoning from alcohol she drank of her own free will. Hillary and especially Devon are responsible for their own disgusting behavior, cheating on a blind guy. They suck!

I never said forced, but he definitely rushed the relationship because he was bitter over how things ended with Leslie. He went from pushing Hillary onto Devon one month and wanting her for a daughter in law to sleeping with her, asking her to marry him, buying her a home and trying to have kids the next.

And no he didn't kill Hillary's mother but the fact that he was even involved with the situation that lead to it, and also had a sexual relationship with her, and then turns around and marries the daughter left behind that became so damaged and consumed with hate and revenge she tortured him and his family, that is just gross. I think Hevon have come off very unsympathetic in this but Neil also shares part of the blame. He shouldn't have even been apart of the Hevon story because it has made it all very sick for me.

He also cheated on Karan with Tyra and flaunted that inappropriate relationship with Carmen while married to Dru. Neil is no saint.

    • I find the black & white episodes FAR more atmospheric and spooky than the color episodes.   The first few months of Dark Shadows move ploddingly slow when you're binge-watching, with entirely too much repetition and exposition.  But as someone noted above, it's the only time in the show when you get much character development.  After the 1795 sequence, it's pretty much like "just make something up; nobody cares."   The series essentially became self-parody with the overload of monsters & ghoulies.  I was watching a scene one time in which the Witch was attempting to stop the Phoenix from staking the Vampire, and I got tickled at the absurdity of three "monsters" in one scene.
    • So cool!!!   And that picture is fierce!!!
    • Just glancing through, it does remind me that I really need to catch up. Sounds like the new writing team have been off to a good start.
    • Loved Katie's reaction to seeing Philip beaten up and near death.
    • I am so pleasantly surprised at how the new writing team is approaching Kate. Towards the end of R*n's run, she faded right out, off contract, pouring coffee at the Brady Pub...and then somehow it turned around and she's back in suits, woven in and out of multiple storylines, and inching back towards the business world, while having her relationship with Roman being written maturely.
    • Someone apparently told Brad Bell that "playing all the beats" meant repeating the same dialogue every day.

Steal her away from Y&R and make her "Sharon".
    • -- I continue to enjoy DAYS post-Carlivati. These women have done a great job in refocusing the show. -- It sounds nuts not to agree with "rapists and murderers shouldn't be romantic leads." But then you get characters like Xander and EJ, and you have to put an asterisk after that quote. I enjoy both characters far too much to want them off the show or thrown in jail. They're romantic leads, but you can't tell me they haven't faced consequences. -- I think the Xander beatdown of Phillip was well-directed -- and in character. Some people here believe Xander went too far. Well, that's who Xander is, and we've seen that many times over these past years. He thought he had family, and then realized it was all a lie, so he resorted back to his animal roots. -- The Stephanie Racy Book storyline is soooooo bad. I had to laugh that she couldn't find her manuscript in that 2x4 apartment.
    • Both Philip and Xander should be in jail, period.
    • 5-14   AMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYY!!! Thank the Lord! lol. But at least I now have something of interest to watch. So good to see Audra and Amy reunited. hehe. I also liked the continued bonding between Damian and Nate. Side-note...those pants on SD and all of that cake is PERFECTION. Mmmm.   I also enjoyed the continued dragging of Billy. First by the son. And then by the father. lol. Billy standing there and being so insufferable and wonder why people are giving him the business. He can stay at that bar and STFU. Double for Chelesa.    And ugh at Giggly Heffa wasting Victor's (and the audience's) time with her inability to spit it out. At least she made up for it by calling Dumas directly. I was just talking about how I love near-miss in the BTG thread, but the difference here is that the Dumas part of the Damian storyline has gone on too long. So her near-miss was annoying.
