I saw the "Jason Is Alive!" clip from the GH page on Facebook. The show looks washed out and horrid as ever and Kim McCoullough's acting was embarrassing. Also she looks tragic. And what was Thaao Penghlis doing?

Jason/Robin/Victor ... meh. I didn't care for this story when they had David Hayward do it on AMC and I con't care for it now. If this is all that RC had to offer us when it comes to the Cassadine family, he could've left them dead and locked up.

At least AMC had a reason for doing it (the series ending) and their version--which was beyond silly--looked like science fact compared to this and those space pods. I thought fans hated the Stavros frozen story McTavish did already?

The Stavros thing was just goofy. It looked cheap, it was terribly done and it was just bad. It was wildly out of pace with the darker, more mature show Guza and Riche had been putting out mere months prior.

As a story conceit, Robin and the Cassadines and their cryopods doesn't bother me at all - that's old school, and the actors sell it, unlike on JFP's show in 2001. I don't mind the sci-fi and crazy action-adventure stuff on GH when it is sold well, because that is what so much of the show's classic history and mythology is built on. I mind sci-fi when it is not balanced by intelligent writing and some human stories of families and romance. That's the problem with today's GH.

Because when Guza ran the show Jason killed like a million people. He had skills and it's natural the Cassadines would hope to use him as a weapon.
