The characters of Chloe AND Kevin for that matter only work in a certain environment, mostly because their protrayers have a certain style/presence. Hendrickson is simply notty and I can't nail it down for RIkaart. Hendrickson only worked with the likes of Lily and Amber as adversies; and Kevin needed the wackjobs Gloria and Jeff to make him appealing. Ever since they exited these orbits they have been TERRIBLE.

See I thought Chloe and Lily sucked, mainly cause of CK, but I found Cane and Devon more watchable opposite Chloe back then. Kevin to me only worked when he was dark. Those giving Lily an STD and damn near killing Colleen days basically. This adored Chipmunk moving from one silly story to the next these past years has been terrible.

MTS, JM, and Sbu doing a promo shoot

You know what...I almost like this shoot. If only I had some affection for Dylan, I would be ecstatic about this. So I guess the Adam/Nick feud has sailed...Adam has now been replaced with Dylan. I wonder what MM thinks of that.

Chloe worked with Both Cane AND Devon. I also thought she worked with Billy. But she has NEVER worked with Kevin. It just boggles the mind why TPTB try to keep this pairing going. I also agree that Kevin, much like all the Fisher/Badlwin males, work best when they are dark. They need to take Kevin back psycho. Have Chloe decide she wants someone else and unleash Kevin.

Chloe deciding she wants someone else is unlikely. The writers are heavy handed with awesome, mature, voice of reason Kevin in this story. She'd be a fool to leave him.rolleyes.gif Watching today's scenes tho, all the tension was between Chloe and Billy. Also, its a shame they're wasting nice booty having Alex. Shame.

Y'all crazy! Liz is BRINGING it in this storyline. Her and Amelia both are giving me Jackie Zeman 1994 vibes

Let's hope it is a red herring...But I agree that the writers want us to root for Kevin and Kevin/Chloe. Here's hoping they are writing it thusly so that Kevin will have a "reason" to feel like she led him on when she does move on...but like you, I doubt it.

I am also praying to the soap gods that Devon's gesture gets them some air time together so that we can test those waters...but I doubt it.

Seeing all the Abbotts together was nice.

The Adam and Sharon scenes were okay. I'd be fine if they never interacted ever again. Sharon apologizing to Adam was BS. He's done so much to her but since Adam's only friend Jack, is busy trying to help Billy. Sharon steps in and that was old school Sharon. Nice and caring even though she really didn't have to be.

I find the Michael/Lauren/Fen s/l to be boring, so I was hardly paying attention. Neil checking up Jack and Nick checking up Billy. Liked that.

A snippet from a new Sara Bibel article which highlights the stupidity of this storyline: .

Delias death was particularly galling because her organs wont even save an actual life. Adam (Michael Muhney) and Chelseas (Melissa Egan) baby, an infant who needs a cornea transplant. Unlike most organs, corneas dont have to be tissue-matched, so any cornea will do. Though Adam and Chelsea were told there were not any corneas available at the exact moment that their son was diagnosed, corneas are easy to come by. The typical wait is 2-4 weeks, less than the six-week window the couple had on the show to find a donor. Contrary to what was implied by the dialogue, adult corneas can be transplanted into infants. I learned these facts in five minutes thanks to Google. I assume the writers figured soap fans wouldnt care about medical accuracy. So the shows implication that Adam and Chelsea are in a race against the clock and in need of a miracle is ridiculous. So was Adams plan to buy black-market corneas. That crook must have laughed about all the money he was making because Adam didnt know legal corneas were plentiful. Yes, we will get months of drama out of Delias death. Adam will be accused of killing her, though it may turn out that someone else actually hit her. Billy and Victorias marriage will probably suffer, as might Chloe and Chelseas friendship. But will any of it actually be entertaining no matter how well-acted and well-written it may be? Will the show get more out of it than it would have gotten from having had Delia an Abbott with a Newman for a stepmother, whose grandmother owns the Chancellor estate grow up, have scandalous teen romances and deal with her complicated family? I say no.

Seeing the Abbott family once again gathered around having a family moment reminded me of once again of how cold the Newman family is. They don't ever sit around the dining room table or the living room. All of their family moments consist of whining, being self righteous, talking about Jack, and arguing with each other.
