It wasn't me, my dear. I have no desire to Skype in. I'm still creeped out someone I never met made an 8 minute video about me over a tweet. I'm good on being in the public eye for now.

It's on my twitter. I'm not being mysterious.

I thoroughly enjoyed this MORE episode icon1.gif Linsday Hartley was a total doll. LOL @ her comments about Vincent and the steamy love scene. I also loved getting that insight from the casting & prop departments! Cool!

Was the creepy guy with the dog really John? He was a mess. I watched this show for the previews and it is TERRIBLE. The host is just as bad as it gets. It reminds me of an infomercial. We have all these internet talk shows that are more entertaining. I honestly feel Daytime Confidential could put together a more interesting half-hour behind the scenes show. This is GARBAGE. They need to look at something like Watch What Happens Live and have two guests for the entire half hour and do segments and have people call in. Transform one of the sets for the talk show. This is just unwatchable IMO.

I love it. I think it was more interesting than quite a few episodes of at least one of the network soaps in recent weeks. Bob Woods moved me to tears. I could listen to him talk about Phil Carey and his relationships with other castmates and his history on my favorite show every week.

Have you listened to a DC Podcast?

Can't wait to see your Skype when your favorite show adopts a similar program to save some bucks. Please be sure to let us all know when you make your debut.

That's kind of what they did for week one, with three guests taking Twitter/FB/Skype questions for most of the episode. Not for nothing did that last only a week as it really dragged (and that's not counting the "lifestyle" segment the week one Mores had)

They could get the actors to take turns hosting the thing. The actors can read copy and certainly know more about blocking and such. They could take question, do behind the scenes, and perhaps do some other things like bloopers.

    • Very disappointed in the writers in the way they are screwing with Nicole, Ted,  and Kat to make Leslie remain viable. So many holes everywhere.
    • Somebody brought this up elsewhere which emphasizes why this NuTed appears as such a weakling? Why is Kat doing what HE should be doing? And that's everything he can to rid him and his family of this crazy woman. Kat is doing all kinds of things she shouldn't do but now I understand her more. She can't count on her father to eliminate this woman because he's a wimp. He's been too busy inviting her into his home and serving her drinks and offering her invitations to birthday parties. WIMP!!!!

    • This is (maybe) overly simplistic and nonsoapy, but Doug needs to go to Gamblers Anonymous, to deal with the addictive neurological excitement hits that gambling gives him - and which control his life. Vanessa needs to go to therapy to find ways to remain healthfully lusty and sex-positive, but to stay away from anyone who would demean her.
    • YT keeps commending GL clips to me. I discovered Kathleen Cullen was on in Christmas 1987. Was there any talk of making it permanent  or was this just a special visit? I wish they had made the visit permanent. I liked her chemistry with Grant Aleksander.
    • I'm not sure it's as unpopular as you think.  I just think the show knew they were in a bind, and needed a proven couple for the viewers to invest in. Trying to reunite Vanessa and Ross had just failed in 87. I don't think Ed and Holly's affair was well received, as Simon and Garrett had a brother/sister chemistry. Enter Billy and Vanessa, who give you history and an out not to try and do a Josh/Reva/Billy triangle, which would've really wrecked the relationship between Josh and Billy. I'd have been ok with trying Vanessa/Ross again, and doing a Vanessa/Ross/Holly/Billy quad for a while. I hated Nadine. HATED. She had to be the most insufferable also-ran before ATWT's Julia Lindsay. This is where I wish I knew Roger's history better.

    • GROSS. Michael Swan was hot back in his ATWT days. Now he's 76 and WAY past his hot years.
    • Since she kidnapped, locked up and tried to kill her father's wife I'd say that is still a pretty big deal
    • I'm good with the gushing, too. There aren't many soap icons like John Black, and that's important to celebrate and remember. And yes, life does go on for other characters, but as they say, timing is everything. Going sky diving the day before the funeral? And during a week of shows that were so powerful emotionally? No.
