  1. I don't think so. I think they need 50 + mutherf^cker Pence to break the tie.

  3. http://time.com/4821547/jay-z-racism-bail-bonds/?xid=newsletter-brief so cool! This and Lebron's pledge of $80+ million to send poor kids to college made my week. Not a fan of either guy, but I applaud their generosity and commitment.
  4. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/trump-reports-hundreds-millions-financial-liabilities-n773551 The U.S. Office of Government Ethics released President Donald Trump's most recent financial disclosure, and it shows that the former real estate mogul carries at least $315 million in liabilities — $130 million to Deutsche Bank alone. this would seem to confirm the conspiracy theories Maddow has been floating forever.
  5. I'm really sorry you feel that way. I include gerrymandering in the general election with the partisan mechanics of the primaries. It's not that different.
  6. Very true. But as a southern gal, who voted GOP until W was elected, it's still stunning to me. I'm like "Seriously?" Sorry. I'm a 60 year old who's catching up. I know that's privilege. Just figuring it out. Trying to be better.
  7. At about the 24 minute mark there is a VERY interesting reveal. We all saw the news video about the woman who pulled her teenage son out of the riots in Baltimore after Freddie Gray died. I never heard what happened next. Did you? https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/undisclosed/id984987791?mt=2#episodeGuid=tag%3Aaudioboom.com%2C2017-06-12%3A%2Fposts%2F6009053
  8. Yes! The system is rigged. But I see where the courts continue to rule against Wisconsin where 45 won by 22,000 votes and 200,000 votes were suppressed. Celebrate victories. But never rest.
  9. "Aint it cool!" Broken Arrow i think the party didn't exist a year ago. For someone like me who can't sign on to either party, there's hope something will emerge.
  10. Reverend William Barber gave a tremendous interview on this podcast from The New Yorker. https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/reverend-william-barber-talks-to-david-remnick-about/id268213039?i=1000386186945&mt=2
  11. I've been wrestling with the issue of these "leaks". While I'm grateful that people are willing to risk their careers and their freedom to get this story out, and I have no doubt this thing would've died quietly if the public hadn't learned of it and kept the pressure on Congress and the DOJ, it's still espionage and it's dangerous.
  12. This doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Didn't the California legislature just vote to provide single payer or something?
  13. Lol. So what? Trey Whitewalker Gowdy and multiple others investigated HRC to Hell and back. The orange filth doesn't get a pass. Maxine doesn't have that much power.
  14. That's why they investigate. It's suspicious. An investigation will uncover evidence. Or not. Are you certain? Everything else about the orange filth is fake. Can you be sure?
  15. Dear Londoners, You know that bitter, angry guy at the bar who's quick to spout off despite not knowing anything? He's our president. Sorry.
  16. Yeah. I just learned the reason that Nicaragua didn't join the accord is because they didn't think it went far enough.
  17. We're slowly descending into a third world nation. Actually more like Russia during The Cold War. Technologically backwards. Isolated. And another old white guy predicts Trump will win in 2020. I think so too. Because of Democrats, Trump Has 55 Percent Chance in 2020, Michael Bloomberg Says - Newsweek https://apple.news/AXRFtEiWgQim0s-p01L_EHw
