Y&R

- I like some (not all) of JFP's new background music and hope they continue to mix the old with the new.

- I've liked Blake Hood as Kyle since day one.

- Amelia Heinle has been doing a great job lately.

- I'm not opposed to Steve Burton joining the show.

B&B

- Ridge's absence has left a much bigger void than Stephanie's.

I love SuLu but I think that AMC 2.0 could succeed without Erica Kane.

I keep imagining shots of Erica's hands and the back of her head via stand-in up to something sneaky and mysterious leading up to her reveal once Shaka SuLu signs that dotted line.

If Brenda Dickson weren't taking up residence on Planet Unstable, I'd recommend her coming aboard AMC 2.0 as a brand-new, Erica-esque character who might be able to take up some of the slack left by Lucci's absence.

I'm all for Brenda, but my first choice would be a not-dead Sydney Chase (Morgan Fairchild). Syddy used to date Jack, as established on The City, so at least there's that connection there.

Actually, SFK, I already have this girl in mind for nuSydney:

And yet, I could see Roseanne in the capacity of a Myrtle meets Opal type character.

[!@#$%^&*], I just realized I missed Buckwild tonight.

2005 was one of my favorite years of Y&R ever. I loved the Brittany/Bobby/Nikki story, Cassie's death and the subsequent Daniel/Lily and Phyllis/Nick stories, Sheila's return, Yolanda, Rachel Kimsey's Mac, John/Gloria, the introduction of Heinle's Victoria, Kevin's redemption and of course the classic "Have a seat... on me."

YES. I loved all of that and long for those days again!

Sean Young can play Erica.

She can play a recasted Jane after she let herself go. Its a look into what would happen if Erica stopped caring about what she looked like

I don't find it so insane that Fenn is a bully right now and walking around like he has a few screws loose. I don't the "well he shouldn't be because he has great parents who love him". I had had friends who were living a very privileged life with parents who loved them and anything they can ask for and behind their parents backs they were doing all sorts of crazy stuff. I had a friend who used to sneak out from her fancy home in the suburbs and roam the city streets at night for trouble. She and some friends almost go killed one night. And at school the ones dealing drugs were the people with lawyer and doctor parents. I remember we had this one psycho kid who got kicked out of the school and then his parents who were benefactors bought his way back in the next year.

Both Cassie and Colleen need to stay dead. No twins or switched at births, just leave them six feet under.

The only person that should be allowed a return from the dead is Dru and that's it.

Not to mention his father's side of the family.

I'm interested in this congressman story on Y&R and anxious to see where it goes. A part of me wants him to become unhinged like Grant, a government official, did too on AS, form and obsession for Jill (like Grant did for Vicki) after breaking her back in the bedroom, and Vicki Wyndham popping up as his mom with a British accent, killing people (especially Victor).tongue.png

Agreed. Colleen's death should never have happened, but it did and there's no going back.

Yep. A recast Dru. And yes, it can be done. Enough time has passed.

I don't beleive LM/Kristina is the reason Trey flopped as a character and the barely written for pairing didn't catch on. Trey flopped because they hired soemone too old for the role and thought they could rely on his abs to draw women in. When that didn't work we were supposed to feel sorry for him for having an evil mother and then because his father died and then he was suddeny so poor he had to live and work at the church. And that romantic pairing with Kristina was basically non existant onscreen. She returns to town centering her life around him for reasons we didn't see onscreen, he helps his father with a plot that almost got her kileld and witin weeks she's centering her life back around him becuase she feels sorry for him. Where was the romance in that again?

This Lulu/Dante/Maxie baby story was never interesting. Not even from the begginng and has only gotten more nonsensical as it goes on. Was there nothing else they could've done beyond another lame baby story?
