Members YRfan23
I don’t necessarily think any of Victors kids appreciate their wealth…namely Nick.
Members will81
Victor hated Jack for many reasons He stole a Jabot perfurme formula and sold it to Mergeron making Victor look like a thief and costing him a lot of money He tried to lure Nikki to Jabot - Victor was very possessive and already saw Jack as a cheat and a con artist Nikki cheated with Jack during the time she was pretending to still be sick. Jack convinced Nikki to bilk Victor for as much as she could and then dump Victor. Victor felt Jack was mostly to blame for all of it. He convinced Leanna to write Ruthless and even though he was not repsponsible for the chapter on Ashley, Victor still blamed him for it He hated the way Jack treated Ashley Jack married Nikki just to get Jabot back - which showed his true colours to Victor. Victor had also humiliated himself trying to win Nikki back during this time. He lost Nikki to Jack again in 1992 when she was pregnant with Jack's baby. I don't think Victor hated Jack for being rich or well off. Jack gave Victor plenty of reasons to hate him. He liked John because John was a respected man and honest business man. Also John was Ashley's father (okay Brent was, but John raised her) and I do think Ashley and John were similar in many ways. He also liked Dina. Actually Jack was the only Abbott he ever hated. He even liked (and eventually slept with) Jill. Edited February 24, 2022 by will81
Members Planet Soap
I've been saying this! Even Esther and Carollade in it. I guess the writers think of her more as a B&B charachter. Edited February 25, 2022 by ironlion
Members Paul Raven
Just came across some info about an NBC pilot for the 73/74 season. Hernandez was a police drama from Universal starring Henry Darrow, Ronny Cox, Dana Elcar and our beloved Jess Walton . Wonder if things would have been different if Jess had landed aprimetime hit?
Members will81
Kimberlin wasn't on contract until around Dec 1990. So she was never going to be in the 1990 opening, not sure why she wasn't added to the 1991 credits though.

Members kalbir
@Soapsuds What a find! I had no idea there was a CBS soaps week on The Price is Right in 1985. When TPiR was reran on Game Show Network, they showed the 1983 CBS soaps week where Michael Damian and Steven Ford were part of the Y&R episode.

Members fivethej
What's the air date on February 1991 episode that had Paul vs Brad fight? Victor attacking Adam in the Athletic Club Basement was that not shown on-screen from 2010?
Members ltm1997
Please register in order to view this content This user is uploading edits from the 70’s and early 80’s, I think of just storylines surrounding Lorie that we’ve seen before, but in somewhat better quality. There’s also opening and closing credits from the February 1, 1982 episode!
Members yrfan1983
Great find, thanks!! Some of the clips aren’t new, but some are! I only had time to briefly skim but I noticed a ‘79(?) scene with Lorie and Brock that looked new.
Members will81
There are a number of "new" clips, Lorie and Leslie and Lorie and Lucas from around 1978. A long conversation between Lorie and Vanessa before Vanessa jumps from the balcony. More from Lorie and Lance's honeymoon in 77. Lance (now Dennis Cole) giving Lorie an engagement ring. More with Lorie and Mark Henderson than was seen on the previous set of clips as well.
Members kalbir
Any 1970s and 1980s Y&R that surfaces is a treat.
Members Broderick
These were fun to re-watch. I enjoyed seeing KT Stevens again, and Lorie's okay when she's not overemphasizing her words and making such long, grandiose dramatic pauses.
