Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

At this point, a return of Jill and Alex would mean saving the NYC franchise. I love the way they have transitioned and made a new era of RHONY but the numbers do not reflect that. There is a disconnect. I understand it. There is something off bit I still love this show overall.

Jill and Alex are faces that longtime Bravo/Housewives fans recognize. I think it'd be smart to bring either or both back. And if they were to accomplish that, then bring LuAnn back full time.

IMO, the NYC ladies seasons 1-3 had the best chemistry of all the Housewives franchises. Now if Bethenny could return.........

Dina's return to NJ could pave the way for other originals to return. These shows are the current generations' soap operas and former favorite characters return all the time :)

Bethanny isn't coming back. She said on WWHL a couple of weeks ago that she needs a break from tv and is going to take the time to focus on her businesses and daughter. I really don't see her returning to this show. Never say never, but it seems unlikely. Alex and Jill however would if Bravo called

Yeah just my wishful thinking for a dream season. While I do like Heather, Aviva, and Carole none of them really pops on screen like Jill or Alex ever did. And Alex is just simply radiant in her videos over at TheStir and I can tell this b*tch has learned from it all and would be utterly fearless if she returned. I think it would be incredible to watch how that all went down. To see all these ladies reunited after 2/3 seasons apart....

I was watching a couple of the 10 minute previews for Bravo's line up for the upcoming week. Heather's sick son (RHONY) sad.png That's so sad. Hits close to home sad.png That along with that one chick telling Kristen to STFU in front of the kids right after telling Kristen to keep her tone down in front of the kids ... has my interest. I may finally watch RHONY this week.

This show is SOOO good. Every week there's an event and confrontation. The show gets the women together and the fireworks come

Check out Andrea standing at the top of the stairs smiling, looking like an evil soap bitch

2yorbbr.jpg

WHAT A BITCH! She talks about having a spa day and then proceeds to "quietly" exclude Gina knowing she is standing right there and can hear and see them. Andrea is EVIL. The absolute worst. She said that in retaliation to blabbermouth Lydia telling her that Gina was undecided about inviting her to her cancer event. I hope there is a reunion and I hope they roast her

Speaking of Lydia, I cant stand her. All she does is kiss Andrea's ass and has no voice or opinion of her own. While it may have been wrong for Gina to call Lydia and tell her what Janet said about her, I have no problem with it bc its karma. Janet has been talking sh-t and revealing her private conversations with Gina, so her crap is fair game. I loved her lying to Lydia's face about not calling her brainless and then the producers show us the receipts with the flashback of her doing just that

From what I gather, Andrea is pissed that Gina called her a c-nt in an email. Hate to use the word, but she sure acts like one.

That quote is truth for all the stupid haters out there. Im gonna have to start using that

Janet was a fool thinking she could take on Gina and she looks ridiculous sticking up for Ms Evil and her stupid sidekick. Their sitdown confrontation was good

Next week Gina goes off on Andrea and calls her a f--king moron! Gina slaying her will give me so much life

Poor Cynthia and her boob! I had to LOL and kept thinking "Your tittie hanging out girl!" I love that Kenya kept telling Porsha she is gone, she is fired. If Porsha in fact does get fired then that has to be the ultimate salt in her wound! It was a train wreck moment to watch. I kind of felt bad for Porsha. Kind of. Then she was carried away? Lord. I take back that kind of.

    • Thanks for these. I can't recall -- did Evan's vendetta have any position on Mitch, or was it all about Rachel? @Maxim have you seen any Frames intreracting with Mitch in any way?
    • Thank you for the tag! It's always a pleasure to see these little pearls of memories.
    • Uh-oh. Today just might’ve been the first Paula/Jeanne stinker. I have a feeling whose fault that might be though. So, Doug III is getting a job at the Pub?  It’s good to see him interact with other characters. I enjoyed his scenes with Roman, even though the talk of Frankie and Max seemed a little random. And it also could be really interesting now that Tate knows. Days really need to start pushing their rivalry again. We need some follow up from the punch. Tying it all to Holly, to Sophia’s pregnancy, to the guys that Doug III owes money to could be good.  But yeah, wayyy too much Leo again in today’s episode. Seriously, has anything changed with this nothing character? I thought it was all Ron’s fault, but maybe Greg Rikaart is (partially) responsible for Leo being so insufferable.  And yeah seriously, Rafe needs to throw all of these people out of his house. Including Gabi

But I do wonder who’s the mysterious voice that Gabi overheard with EJ on the night he was shot. Based on yesterday’s episode, I have a suspicion.
    • Add me to the group of people who think that Brandon has improved. He has. There's no doubt about it. Especially compared to the beginning. And he's improving in a way that... it makes me think that he realizes what the issues are and is addressing them. Of course, he's no master of acting at this point... but I don't cringe as much as I did. And I've seen people in Bold... I won't even have to name names, because everyone knows who they are... who are becoming even worse than what they were offering in the first place. So... I'm happy that in BTG... people are actually blossoming and improving. It surely means that the atmosphere is creative and nurturing talent.  BUT and it's a big butt... his relationship with his husband is still so lacking and ghastly. I am craving to see more action from these guys. I want to see Smitty's character. If he has any.
    • Thank you. You guys come to the rescue again. I'll take a look later.   Thank you for the info!!! Now I find myself less confused. You and @DRW50 are amazing.
    • I know Passions used this trope with Ethan and Sam to drag out the paternity, but GH seems to speed through certain stories while dragging others.
    • For any other soap, I think I’d agree, but GH, I don’t know

    • Agreed, that there was some strange choices in the episode, especially at the end, but overall, that was some great drama that opens up the potential for so much future storyline. Kat vs. Eva having the most potential, especially over Tomas. I have mixed feelings about Martin/BC though. I thought he did pretty well in scenes with Smitty/MM, but the scenes of him confronting Leslie and of him throwing the books were bad lol she acted circles around him.  It’s similar to what Harding Lemay said about George Reinholt at AW; he could be brilliant in one scene, but then mediocre in the next.
    • I know some of y'all really like Brooke Kerr, and so I've tried to give her a shot, despite her frequent flat line readings and distracted "did I leave the front door unlocked?" facial expressions. But lord, she is so bad at playing a tough-talking badass that I was actually rooting for Brad today to spill the beans to Drew.
