I wouldn't waste my time.

A bit late, but so sad about Richard Thorp.

Alan was no longer a regular presence on the show towards the end of course, so his absence might not really make a difference, but he was one of the last ties to Emmerdale pre-Dingles.

Now I think Eric, Betty and Victoria are the only characters left from when Emmerdale was Dingle-free. And Victoria only in name, since she was born in 1994, the year when the Dingles first entered the show. A dark year in Emmerdale history, at least for me, since I intensely dislike that whole family. The Sugdens have been almost obliterated, but it feels like a new Dingle crawls out from under a rock (or wherever they come from) every year.

I saw on Digital Spy everyone freaking out because of how graphic the crash was so I decided to watch the ep for old time's sake. Gotta say it was pretty good.

Starting with Carl blackmailing Chas, this Cameron story has been an underrated gem. I love Hollyoaks, and don't care for much else on the rest of the soaps, but this is the best story in soap right now by a mile.

I don't know if I already knew this and just forgot, but I was surprised to read today that Charley Webb (Debbie) and Jamie Lomas (ex- Warren, Hollyoaks) are brother and sister. And then I was saddened to read that she and sexy as hell Matt Wolfenden (David) have split.

Former Emmerdale star Ben Freeman (ex-Scott Windsor) will play Fonzie when the musical version of the long-running tv-show "Happy days" will tour the UK next year. He will be joined by, among others, former pop stars Cheryl Baker (Bucks Fizz) who will play Mrs Cunningham, and Heidi Range (Sugababes) who will play Fonzie's girlfriend Pinky Tuscadero.

Lorraine Chase will be back as Steph, for Alan's funeral. I wish they'd remembered Kathy, and Kathy's mother, but I'm surprised and happy they are bringing Steph back.

Terence was Steph's brother, not her son!

And I agree that they should have brought back Kathy and Caroline. But Kathy didn't come back for Jack's funeral either, although I believe that they did ask Malandra Burrows on that occasion, but she was sadly unable to attend.
