Exclusive: Emmerdale confirms two arrivals for Tate and Sugden families

I'm not holding my breath that this will amount to anything even remotely interesting. Especially since the only Sugdens that exist and can be brought back are Andy and his son with Debbie. The show did such a thorough job eliminating everyone else.

And this bit shows that TIIC are clueless about the show's history:

Laura revealed that Joe Tate's return to the soap in late 2024 served to build up the village's prestigious Tate family, the wealthy owners of the Home Farm estate. Joe returned to the estate alongside Kim Tate, after thieving a kidney from Caleb Milligan. "What that story did was really cement Kim and Joe as surrogate mother and son, which was important to me, to try to build that family of Tates up at Home Farm," she explained.

Poor Chris is spinning in his grave over this idea. Kim was the person he hated most in the world. And Zoe was hardly a fan of Kim either and she was the one who took care of and raised Joe after Chris' death.

I would be more excited about more Sugdens if they hadn't just invented a long-lost son of Jack's solely to make him a serial killer and fodder for Robron.

I don't know how you can say Kim and Joe are surrogate mother and son as they hate each other and have repeatedly betrayed each other.
