What happened to soaps on Friday? Why are most of them at a really low rating?

On a positive note, totally WOOT to Days getting 2.3...and a solid on at that!! It isn't great, but they did have 2.3 back when Higley was writing, so it is possible to rise.

WTF?! Y&R's Albino Porn Whore is featured front & center on Wednesday -- and that's Y&R's highest rating of the week? That was the tackiest piece of sh!t I have ever seen pass for soap writing. "It was your mole on your breast I saw!" Jesus.

Yeah, but remember, Mike... there have been many times in the past where we expected a big bump for a huge week and the show ended up going down, instead! LoL

I can't see how the show would go down this week, with such fabulous stuff that's happened (Willow died, although the execution of that sucked... Stefano's return.... John back in fine form... Bo/Hope/Doug/Julie in the story... Sami almost dying in the car, that was this week right?... Tony's back in fine form... and it's not even Friday yet!). I would love for the show to get another bump of at least .1 or .2, but I think in today's soap climate, it's nearly impossible to retain all of the viewers you've gained over a three week span and then add another sizeable rise on top of that. That's just too much of a consistent rise for daytime today, although if any soap were to do it, Days would be that soap, IMO.
