December 29, 200619 yr Member It's absolutely disgusting that some of you want mean, mean Kris-tan to have raised Elvis Junior. Ugh ugh ugh!! And Susan was not campy. She'd perfectly take the place of Bonnie on this show. and it's disgusting how you love watching women get raped for excitment. But ... what are we gonna do, right?
December 29, 200619 yr Member Ok, I'm here now Why are people complaining about EJ and John's cat-and-mouse game? Did anyoen expect EJ to just shoot and run without a few games? It's the DiMera MO. Get over it! I, for one, absolutely loved it. I really wanna see Benjy involved here. I could see him having John as an enemy in common, but he'd otherwise fight his DiMera genes to the death. The anti-DiMera- but his history, if he didn't have resentment to John over his hearing loss, 'd be surprised. Of course, thanks to Steve & Kayla, his heart might be just big enough. The previews, him havign a tarot card? Maybe that's why we don't see him- because he's in really deep. So glad Tek saw it. Not proud of Lexie, but she did what was expected. She never was fit for a cop's lifestyle, so her sacrificing procedure for her marriage is not surprising. But, why did Tek have to be there when the cops arrived? Don't witnesses sometimes pop up in an investigation later on? I though this need to stick around was suspicious. Someonelese was suspicious of Tek for another reason. But how could his being at the boathouse be suspicious? LEXIE was driving! Celeste's mention today made me sad; I want more Celeste! Part of Sami today was contrived. Did she really think sitting there and trying to start the car was more productive than TRYING to go out on foot to help Lucas? Don't get me wrong, I thought Ali was superb today and, predictable as it was, incidentally climbing into EJ's car was absolutely priceless. I just think that the lag time between her leaving Lucas (which took long enough, too) and climbing into EJ's car was...weird. Bo, Hope, and Patrick were great. Just great. There are no words. Brody was scary today. I loved how Bo didn't even consider his demands. It's nice to see some realism there, where they would go to any length for their love, but sometimes they ARE limited. Roman is an idiot, though. Why did he take John at his word? If any guy knows how John;s mind works, it would be him. Idiot didn't even ask what happened to the wire once John explained he was fine. And that wasn't suspicious. If Abe loses his eyesight, Roman is the last person to replace him, imo!
December 29, 200619 yr Member Hmm. I always thought EJ would be interesting with Chelsea, but I'd have to see with Abby. EJ seems more of the type that needs a full blown woman, one that is perhaps tall and statuesque, to be paired with him.
December 29, 200619 yr Member Excellent, excellent show today. Wonderfully written and acted. Alison deserves serious kudos for her performance. I felt every word she said. If was heartbreaking to see her say all those things to Lucas right after they basically reconnected. And, she wa so lost, she didn't know what to do. I also don't blame her for trying to start the car. That girl is half out of her mind with terror for the man she loves. I don't think she's thinking staright right now. Bryan also did a fine job. E.J. is a DiMera, and just like any other DiMera, or any other villain, he has to tell his entire plan first before he kills the hero. Have any of you seen Austin Powers?! Great scenes between James and Drake in that one. How Brody has turned into a good actor is beyond me. He really showed me something today. If he would have acted like this, and had better writing, who knows what would have happened? A great show, and tomorrow is the mother of all cliffhangers. This is legendary, classic late 70s early 80s DOOL. It's a wonderful time to be a Days fan, isn't it? Oh man. When did I go to defending Samantha Brady?! It must be the coming of the apocalypse! December 29, 200619 yr Member I couldn't fight the temptation to read the EE and just got done with it Tomorrow is such a good show. I advise everyone to watch. Benjy's on and some may be surprised to see who else is on I know I was!
December 29, 200619 yr Member It might be the DiMera way to play cat and mouse when honestly meaning to kill the mouse but it is DUMB, dumb and dumber. While EJ's ego was taking over his hold on his intentions, his mouse was making plans on how to escape and even then, when the cat shot the mouse, he didn't even hang around long enough to see if he actually was successful in his mission by checking his pulse....tsk tsk tsk, poor dumb evil DiMera.
December 29, 200619 yr Member That's why the mouse was on the floor, dripping blood EJ's not so dumb after all.
December 29, 200619 yr Member That's why the mouse was on the floor, dripping blood EJ's not so dumb after all. Seriously, I don't get the complaints about the EJ/John showdown. It's classic Dimera. Hell, it's classic hero vs villain. EJ knew the wire was disabled and that he had time to play mind games with John before killing him. Days has always done showdowns like that. Those are the kinds of dramatic showdowns you want.
December 29, 200619 yr Member Susan needs to come to Salem and try to knock some sense into her son It would be fun to see how that plays out Susan: Elvis, oh my little sweet potata. I sure was worried about you, When Dr. Marlena called me and told me what you were doin' I had to come see for myself. and Lord have mercy she was right right right. the zombies must have turned you into one of them. you've been runnin around Salem trying to hurt all my friends. Now you listen to your momma, I don't know what that mean mean Stefano Dimera did to you but I ain't gonna let em do it anymore see. I'm goint to take you se see Doctor Marlena Evans and she's gonna knock some sense into you. (grabs him by the ear) Mary Moira: ELVIS! If you don't get away from them Dimera's the good Lord's punishment unto you will be SEVERE! You have to stop your wicked ways. Killing another human being is a mortal sin. You will rot in hell! We need to go to the alter and just Pray Pray Pray.

"It is time that somebody taught you a little RESPECT! Now you come over here with me! I have heard about you, young lady, and you should be ashamed of hurting your sister the way you have! Not to mention talking to your mother the way you do! Now it's time for you to get down on your knees and start BEGGIN' for forgiveness! Now you get yourself back on that path of righteousness before it's too late! You understand?! Now get along, get, get, get! Go on, go on. Shaaaame, shame, shame, shame, shame!" December 29, 200619 yr Member I watched it on Soapnet last night (I love having digital cable) and it was a great episode. Elvis has not left the building, he's taking it over. Tek was extremely annoying though and I'm glad he's leaving. Abby/EJ...just stupid! People are already hollering Max is too old for her, and you want her with EJ, who's even older? Dumb, dumb, dumb!!!! Brody was amazing. I knew he had it in him. What a frightening performance. It was straight out of a big screen hostage movie. DAYS is firing on all cylinders---let's hope the momentum keeps up!
December 29, 200619 yr Member I watched it on Soapnet last night (I love having digital cable) and it was a great episode. Elvis has not left the building, he's taking it over. These Elvis references will never get old. DEAR CHRIST! DAYS IS AMAZING NOWADAYS! I feel bad for anyone who is watching ATWT, B&B, OLTL, AMC, and PSNS over DAYS. GAWWWWD! DAYS is on fire.
December 30, 200619 yr Member Having watched the episode again, I can say beyond a shadow of doubt that, IMO, this is the best episode - and my favorite - since last January with the Hortons' reaction to Zach.
December 31, 200619 yr Member This was an awesome episode! LOL King, liking Elvis DiMera more than EJ!! DAYS has been awesome for practically all of December and this whole week has been amazing!! Everything was indeed action packed. The EJ/John face off was brilliant, I hate shoot outs where there is not a confrontation and EJ and John needed a real confrontation like this. Everything has been brilliant, DAYS is delivering and IA with those that said it is the best soap on right now. The show hasn't been this good in at least 11 or 12 years because things are happening that are actually moving a story forward!!
