DAYS: Thursday

Thoughts, opinions?

EJ is a cold, calculating bastard and James Scott gave a chilling performance today. He has a dangerous, sly charm about his performances that make you want to jump into his arms and make mad, passionate love, yet run away screaming at the same time. His eyes scream 'danger,' while his lips whisper words of seduction. Casting him as EJ was a stroke of genius -- I've been so impressed with the Days casting department over the past 3 - 4 years! My only worry is that EJ will be written into a corner and he won't be able to walk the streets of Salem as a free (or living) man. I have faith that Hogan's creative enough to make him both balls-to-the-wall AND salvageable.

The drama with Lucas and Sami was great, and I was actually impressed with Ali Sweeney's take on 'hysteria' -- she usually falls flat with these types of scenes. Loved the twist at the end with her hopping in the car and there's EJ at the wheel! I'm wondering what'll happen with Lucas, crushed legs and covered in snow.

Tek/Lexie were out of place in the earlier part of the episode, but once they got involved with the drama of the other stories (EJ/John) it all smoothed out.

I was impressed with Brody Hutzler today! I was actually scared for Hope... Patrick's lost his damn mind!

What did everyone else think? The most action-packed episode in a long while! Two gun-toting maniacs, one pregnant lady held hostage, one man (fatally?) wounded, and a man crushed after a cabin roof caves in.

Previews for tomorrow look great!

Loved the episode.

Brody Hutzler & James Scott were awesome today.

Lexie annoyed me today. I hate how she's willing to cover up a crime to stay with boring Abe.

I'm loving the acting on Days!

Sami, here's a tip for ya...

Fantastic episode, action packed and great acting from so many that we haven't seen in such a long time.

EJ and John were great. I loved when John said EJ was nothing but a hound dog. James is playing the villian to a T; and Days made a great choice in casting him.

EJ taking Lexie's car, how I wanted him to say "Thanks sis" lol..

When EJ picked up Sami wow chilling.

Hope actually used her brain today, it's about time. I loved that she was able to leave her cell phone on for him to hear her.

Brody, why didn't they let you do this before. I loved when he showed his fear to Hope, knowing he couldn't get away from the DiMera's.

I loved the show.

I hate how Days has ruined little Elvis Junior. :( Nothing was more satisfying knowing that Susan had gotten her son to safety and free from the evil influence of the DiMeras. My only hope is that Elvis didn't become evil until 2-3 years ago Days time, once Stefano had left Salem and gotten into his near-fatal car accident.

Just an absolutely fabulous episode. It has everything!

I love James Scott as EJ. Anyone who saw him as Ethan on AMC knows the extent of his talents. EJ could not be more different from Ethan than Alaska is from Buenos Aires. He is charming, chilling and a wily villain. I am thinking it would be just a terrific twist if John turns out to more closely related to EJ than either of them knows.

Pattycakes is finally showing his stuff. I actually feel for his dilemma. He is terrified of what the DiMeras may do to him if he disobeys orders, yet he does not want to hurt Hope. Regardless of his actions, he cares for her.

I still have suspicions about Tek. How convenient that he was nearby when all the action happened with EJ and John. And how nice for EJ to find the getaway car all ready to go. Yeah, thanks Sis, would have been a nice touch!

Tomorrow should be just as good as today. I can't wait.

Great show. I didn't want it to end. I'll say more when my shoulder isn't crippling me

I love how the DiMeras are no longer the cartoon family they had been turned into with softy Stefano, bumbling Bart and loony Rolf.

I love EJ as a cold, calculating bastard, out to do his father's will and rid the world of all the family's 'traitors,' as one last gift to his dying father. He isn't a cartoon at all. We haven't seen much of Benji yet, but he doesn't seem to be a cartoon, either. The DiMeras are SERIOUS again. God, how I'd love for Lexie to stay and get more involved with her DiMera roots now that the writing for them is so fabulous. Bring back Kristen, too! I want to see all of the DiMera children out to create hell for any and all who have ever wronged them or their father. I'm not talking about any stupid baby switch, tooth chip idiotic stuff of yesteryear. I'm talking... let's just get down to business. "You've wronged my family, and now you will die."

Who loved EJ's line today? "I would tell you, but then I'd have to kill you... and I'm going to kill you."

I haven't been watching every day, but has anyone bothered to contact Susan about Elvis Junior? You'd think Marlena would've called her up ASAP and inform her of her son's bad behaviour.

I agree.

And how fabulous would it be if Susan picked up the phone, revealing that she was actually Kristen just putting on the Susan voice? Susan's long dead... and Kristen's alive and a free woman, living as Susan Banks.

PAGING EILEEN!!

That would be absolutely DISGUSTING. I always loved Susan more than Kristen. When Kristen got her just desserts, and Susan sailed off to happy married life in England with Elvis and Edmund, I had never been so satisified. Here's hoping Eileen does return so Susan and Kristen can face off again, and Susan can emerge triumphant!! :D :D

No.

Yes. Absolutely yes!

Definitely NO. The campy days of Susan Banks are long over.

And think about it .. for Elvis to have become what he's become, Susan's happily-ever-after clearly went south. She's probably dead.
