OMG! That was so emotional and sad. It must have been very emotional for Juliet to do those scenes.

Seriously, those clips were golden days of Passions.

Best part of the episode, as always when they are on, were Tabby, Endora, Edna, and Norma. Just perfect

I usually think Norma and Edna are way too over the top but they were really great today. Maybe they toned it down a little because Endora was there and they didn't want to freak her out, although some of the looks she was giving them were priceless.

Loved the montage...saw it yesterday (day ahead) but the music in the US episode was so much better. It really changed the tone of the clips and made them more joyous, less depressing. Juliet rocked, as usual.

I liked Fancy today (kind of) but I'm never going to get into Fancy and Luis as a couple. And I liked Sheridan looking into the camera and seeing Marty and Luis instead of James and Chris. That was really good. And holding Marty's gift. That was really sad but sweet.

I even liked the wedding scenes.

This was actually a good episode all around. I'm not used to that in any soap anymore.

Gwen's "NO!!" was hilarious.

Hehe, the Norma/Edna scenes get hilarious tomorrow!! :D

Also, awesome Juvy scenes to look forward to. :)

If you like Lancy, you'll loooove their scenes.

Lots and lots of good humour!

The wedding reception is to die for..hehehe ;)

(Very reminiscent of the Days episode in late 2003 when Roman was "murdered"...)

Thanks for the heads up. *You* actually watched the Lancy scenes? *gasp*

The wedding cake should be interesting. :)

I watched live, so I didn't have the option of fast forwarding, hehe! I'd enjoy Lancy more if Beth were involved in the story...the only time I really liked Shuis was when Beth was up to her shenanigans.

I was shocked we got a Timmy montage. That was nice and heartbreaking. Juliet rocked that scene.

I remember in the old days we used to get Timmy/Tabitha montages like once a month and I just LOVED it.

I know, Phoenix, I was LIVID when I saw that Tabitha/Timmy montage because in the old days, the magazines would warn us about these things and I would ALWAYS have that VCR warmed up for some "keeper" episodes. But today, I just had to fall on the Timmitha montage by dumb luck and it was in the low grade VHS. AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL!

That aside, this episode was PHENOMENAL. I was absolutely STUNNED. This was one of my favorite Christmas episodes of all time -- surprising because I've generally just 'liked' the show since the show's "classic" era ended. But for some reason, today's episode just clicked. EVERYTHING, baby!!! More comments to follow (I'm still watching)...

OH MY GOD, I am LOVING the turnaround with Norma and Edna!!! The way the witch, the nutso and the old fart bonded was so touching...even if, as Norma foreshadowed, it won't last...

"Next year, who knows? We don't want Tabitha getting complacent now, do we, daddy?"

Oh, JER, I knew you would go there.

FFed thru Lancy..don't give a damn about them.

Honestly, Rion, you're going to have to get over this. I think today's episode was proof POSITIVE that Sheridan and Luis are OVA for-ever. JER gave Lucy one of the most special episodes for their first Christmas together as a couple. And the way Luis gave his "true love" gifts for the 12 days of Christmas? Ha, that is such a thing that a writer, especially one like JER, would ONLY give to a destined supercouple since it's so special and undeniably unforgettable. Lucy are here to stay. I mean, the 12 days of Christmas gifts were just TOO cute and memorable for words. Honestly, did Shuis ever share any memorable gifts like that?! HECK, no. The only memorable gift they share was that compact back in '99. Luis gave it to Sheridan and she accidentally lost it in the trash; he thought she was a snob and threw it away and that, while adding to their sexual frustration, served as a plot point. These gifts Luis gave Fancy were just the symbol: the end of an ERA. THe SHUIS era!!!

I have to admit, one thing ticked me off to HIGH HEAVEN about the Chadney wedding. It was that DISGUSTING show of blasphemy that Whitney (or Brook Kerr) showed toward the sacred "Passions" history.

I was LIVID when I saw her wink at TC and Eve. That is NOT a Whitney trait, is it? Have we EVER seen her wink? NO.

And if we had, dollars to doughnuts says it was AFTER the era of Zombie Charity and Kerr (or the director) copied it. EVERYONE knows that the wink of an eye was Kay's way of communicating the go-ahead to put evil plans into motion, when addressing Zombie Charity.

So, SHAME ON YOU, "Passions!"!!!

Otherwise, again, PHENOMENAL show.

I loved today's episode! Normally, I hate the Norma and Tabitha scenes, but they were very good today. Every scene in today's episode was worthwile and good.

Honestly, I don't even enjoy Shuis that much as a couple. It's just that I don't enjoy Lancy either. The common denominator is Luis...maybe it has something to do with him? (Or Galen Gering's portrayal?) Or maybe it's cuz deep down I still want BETH to get her man. ;)

Watching today's montage of Tabitha and Timmy definitely put a tear in my eye. I have been saying for weeks Passions is better and the past couple of episodes have proven that. I just hope the show can maintain this momentum.
