Passions: B+ Vendetta SUCKED, but the show has rocked since that's storys conclusion. Luis & Fancy and Jared & Theresa are HOT. I love them. Can't wait to see if Chad's lover is a man.

Days of our Lives: B+ I'm really enjoying Days again. I would have given it an A but that would have made downwhtone too happy.

Young and Restless: B This show finally caught my interest after years of me thinking it was the most boring show on TV.

Bold and Beautiful: D- HATE Donna and the Brooke/Ridge take 10 billion is so played.

OLTL: I give it a F. I cant even watch it anymore. Just too boring

Y&R: Everytime i watch this show all i see is really bad acting. I give it a D+ because its more watchable that OLTL.

GH:This use to be my favorite show but it keeps getting worse and worse. The only thing worth watching are Jason and Sam. At least when i watch GH i can watch the whole episode without falling asleep. Its worth a B-

AMC: I may be one of the few who are happy with the writing. The only part i hate is Josh and Babe. I only started watching because Dixie came back. I like Rendall and im hoping the Jon and Lily get back together. Although i really wish that they would stop dragging out the Madden storyline. I give it a A

Y&R: Everytime i watch this show all i see is really bad acting. I give it a D+ because its more watchable that OLTL.

ATWT - A+ - This was the soap to watch this summer. All of the stories were excellent, especially the slasher story.

AMC - F - Amazingly enough, if this survey had taken place about six months ago, I'd be giving it an A. Janet's gone and the show sucks. All of the plots disgust me. I wonder how people even are able to stomach this crap fest every single day.

DAYS - B+ - It definately got better over the summer. I liked the gloved hand story, but all the Chelsea stuff brought it down a letter grade.

GH - F - Man, did this suck. Does it still suck? I can't answer that because it was so bad that I quit watching two months ago.

OLTL - D - The only reason that this is NOT getting an F is because Margaret was on in June. Everything since her death has been boring, stupid, and I just don't waste my time with this crap anymore.

PSSNS - B - Loved the Alister-monk story, Loved Beth coming back, Loved Maya dying. This was pretty good, but I feel that I would've given it an A had Beth stayed the entire summer.

Y&R - A- - It had it's high points and it's low points, but it's low points were still good (if that makes sense). Loved Brad's story and the Jack vs. Gloria story, but I'm not too fond of the Sharon/Nick/Phyllis triangle or the Dru/Neil/Carmen triangle.

Overall----------

ABC: F - All three shows were at their worst. I've seriously never stopped watching for so long. Frons has really dug himself into a neven deeper hole.

NBC: B - Both shows were good, but like it's been said, could've been better.

CBS (what I watched): A - They kept things flowing and made CBS the network for soaps. Great job, CBS!

AMC -- D. It brought back Dixie, although they don't use her well. Bringing her back is the only ting thing that kept from an F.

GH -- B. The young characters on this show are carrying it. They are wonderful and well worth the watch. I also like the nuCarly

OLTL - F. It has killed the core of the show -- literally and figuratively. It screwed longtime fans. It gave us the lousiest couples imaginable. It makes no pretense of even wanting to get better. It is no longer a show that is worth watching.

Days -- A. My favorite show. It has good characters of all ages. I look forward to seeing it every day. It is a soap that sucked it up, admitted it sucked and created a better show.

YR -- A. I love the characters. The actors are great. The storytelling is consistent. It's just a good show.

Days B-= It would have gotten an A+ if it was as good as it is now, however the first part of the Summer was really bad.

OLTL F= This show has just been so bad.... I mean this summer was horrible, all that really interested me was Margarat and the Todd stuff at FIRST but after a while it got old, anything else on the show was just terrible, I hated almost all of the storylines.

Passsions B-= It got minus only by an inch because I did not like that much of the Vendetta, it was good having all of those chars back like Al, Edna, Beth and Norma so it was not toally bad, I also enjoyed Siren, but was annoyed that Luis did not get Marty back and that Beth died, I also did not really enjoy the tail end of the Summer, like this Spike/Chris stuff, I like Spike but the Chris part annoys me, howeer I have enjoyed Jaresa alot.

AMC D-= This Summer has not been very good, I will keep it from an F just because it was not that bad but it nears an F ver ymuch, have not enjoyed this at all, not the murder, not the Dixe stuff, not the Josh stuff, nothing.

ATWT B+= I loved the Slasher Story, it kept me viewing.

GH C= This was hard to rate, I have half loced this summer and half hated it, like the Sonny stuff kind of.... but not that much.

I briefly view Y&R sometimes but GL and others I just do not watch and find nothing interesting on them.

AMC- I give it a B-, I like the fact that they brought Dixie back. I've been enjoying the storyline except with the Zach and Dixie pairing. The thing thats bringing it down is the whole who killed Madden storyline. Who really cares anymore.

OLTL- D-, used to be one of my faves, summer was way to boring. The best storyline on the show in my opinion the Jess/Tess one was hardly ever acknowledged till now and there was way to much Spencer Truman storyline.

This is all just my opinion.

AMC: D The buildup to Madden's murder wasn't bad, but this storyline lacks suspense and has resulted in too many characters acting like pod people (Dixie, Zach, Tad for starters). What else is there? The murderer trying to salvage his marriage to the autistic teen, a bunch of new teens, a boring woman who most likely has Tad & Dixie's daughter, the babystealing !@#$%^&*] flirting with the Unabortion. Not anything worth watching.

Y&R: A- I've been checking this show out on Soapnet and so far, I'm quite impressed. The only story I didn't like was the reveal of Brad's past (who the hell had ever heard of a reliquiary?). The Jack/Gloria feud has been great, Dru is hilarious, Sharon deserves Brad/George for her whininess, and Nick/Phyllis are just hot.

OLTL: F I tried watching this show a few times, but the heart of it is gone. Viki would never condone Clint sleeping with Dorian. For that matter, Clint would never sleep with Dorian! Antonio and John McBain are still on hogging up airtime. Jess/Tess was a poorly told retread of Viki/Niki for the most part. There are too many characters unrelated to the Buchanans for my taste and no interesting couples.

B&B-F It's sad to see my favotite soap in such shambles, Ridge raping Brooke, Taylor (who I hate) a drunk and liar. Darla's meaningless death. Bricky being ruined, I could go on and on. Starting today, I'm taping Days, a show I watched for 20 plus years but feft when JER came back and ruined the show. Shame on Bell.

ATWT: B Always consistent

GL: B- rather enjoyable this summer

B&B: F awful doesn't even describe the show.

AMC:

-June = B. I liked the whole 'Greg is buried' thing.

-July = B+. I liked Josh trying to revive Greg, the new ConFusion opening, the new film-look, Josh finally learning the truth, Di/Aiden, Jack learning about the real Jonathan.

-August = D. The Madden stuff just got confusing, but David was on for a full week. All these newbies are coming on too late, while the Dixie story and Madden murder mystery is still going on. Balance is uneven, and things just seem stagnant.

Average Summer Grade = C. Much better than last year's summer, but so much room for improvement - which hopefully we'll be getting soon with a new writer

ATWT:

August = B. I've only been able to watch August this month, due to work, etc. The slasher stuff was great for me, although cheesy. Love Luke storyline. The Meg/Paul/Emily stuff is boring, and I'm not liking that Jade is still breaking up Gwen/Will.

OLTL:

Overall Summer = F. There was only one thing I was interested in, and that was finding out who this stalker is. Once I realized it was all set up by Dorian, I was pissed and hated it and still do. There is nothing about this show I like right now.

GH:

Overall Summer = C-. I really don't like how all the couples are broken up. Love the performances by Alexis and Lulu, but not 100% into their stories. The show just seemed more boring than anything. Love how they brought back Anna though, but haven't really used her substantially besides just fluff IMO.

AMC: F

I can't think of a single aspect of this show from EP to HW, from production decisions and execution to wardrobe, hair and makeup that isn't in serious trouble. Well, save one and that's the actors, there's still a lot of talent on the show (though a lot's been allowed to bleed away over the last couple of years). TPTB have managed to create a show where I can't bother to care about even my favorite characters...thusly, I haven't been able to watch with anything near consistency in weeks.

Passions: B+

Passions is what it is and makes no bones about it. I liked Vendetta, I liked the Mermaid fairy tale. Many of the female characters on the show are the driving force behind it and I think the actors do a fine job in maintaining Passions otherworldly tone and rhythms.

I'm a little weary of the gratuitous (and that hardly "covers it") male shirtlessness and would like to see more female skin though I do get a kick out of the HoYay, all that hunky partial nudity creates.

Now, if they'd lay off attempted rapes (which has dropped dramatically this year) and get Simone more involved and involved with our leetle spitfire, Paloma, I'd be on cloud nine.

DOOL: B

This grade is from my gf as she's the consistent watcher of DOOL. She doesn't keep up with all the goings-on backstage like I do but is LOVING the show right now and is very excited about it. She drops it from A to B because she's bummed out about losing Jack, Jennifer and Austin, Carrie, particularly. She believes James Scott is much better on DOOL than AMC and is pumped up for the impending return of The Biggest Daddy of 'Em All.

Y&R B -- I'm new to watching it but it's solid, well acted and well written.

OLTL F -- It's passed the point of no return. The stories are horrible, the couples are awful and the news about DG and HT sealed the deal. They are going in the wrong direction.

I only watch DAYS, and I'm giving it a B+. The early summer blew chunks, but now it's rocking. The youngins' have seem to take a backseat right now to the almost 30 group and above, and their stories are much more interesting now. TGO mystery is suspenseful and harkens back to the 80s' mysteries. Dialogue has improved dramatically, and I think it's been two weeks since we've had flashbacks. Even the SFX have seem to died down.
