ATWT: A- The writing manages to incorporate most of the characters into story lines. Who didn't know about Luke's "coming out"? Through Jade, all of his peers found out. Through his parents, Damian and both grandmothers (Lucinda and Emma) were able to articulate their reactions in meaningful scenes. (We might not have agreed with Damian's actions, but they were HIS.) Jennifer's death showcased a family's ability to suspend dysfunction long enough to come together: the scenes with Barbara and Hal were all too real. Far-fetched stories were even grounded. Take Susan, who, through it all, still loved Emily and tried to be the voice of reason (sanity) (think "escape from institution with Henry"). Lastly, the teen story line redeemed Casey, illustrated the complications of Will and Gwen's marriage, and explored Maddie's troubled past.

Mixed bag: Dallas, Jack-Carly-Simon-Katie-Mike, Vets being used as sages (Kim and the condom).

B&B: F This whole show still revolves around Brooke (hands off my men). The revelation from a few years ago that Massimo is Ridge's father ruined Stephanie's credibility for me. It also shook the show's foundation too much [Ridge and B(ridge)t]. SORAD, pregnancies, and death are all staples of daytime. But once a character is dead, she's dead. PERIOD. The junior Bell needs to re-familiarize himself with some of his father's best work. Taylor is a train wreck. (And please, seek treatment for those bee-stung lips.)

GL: C The little show that could is gaining company in the ratings range of 2.3 to 2.4. Does misery love company? Possibly. But I don't think ABC is going to go with "Inside the Life" for OLTL any time soon. Getting back to GL, the sets are conspicuously C-H-E-A-P. I especially hate the neon green hospital room. Missed opportunities include Lizzie and Coop. What a better way to get the Coopers and Spauldings together on screen. Ava and Coop are fizzling. Tammy-Jonathan-Lizzie is only OK. The void left by Phillip is creating discontinuity for Beth, Alan, Olivia, Lizzie, and to a lesser extent Alan-Michael, Alexandra, and Gus.

So, we have Reva, Josh, Cassie, Billy, some-but-not-all of Reba's offspring, only one Bauer, and the unsettled Spauldings. Dinah and Mallet are working; having yearly mayoral elections is not.

Y&R: B During the summer, all of the characters seemed to have personality alterations with most of them losing their "edge." Phyllis and Victor have been soften, Sharon and Brad have been hardened. Coupled with that is all of Genoa City became simultaneously horny: Neil and Carmen, Jack and Carmen, Nick and Phyllis, Brad and Sharon.

The pace of the show has quickened for some story lines [brad--his lifelong secret was exposed by Paul and JT(!) in just a few weeks] and remains slow for others [Michael and Lauren's pregnancy (not believable and a total bore)].

B&B: F Nothing to like about this show right now. Darla's death was good at first but it was just a ratings ploy. I can't stand Brooke and her men. I'm so freaking sick and tired of her. Taylor is just annoying lately. The show just plain sucks right now.

PSSN: C- Ugh the show is so bad it's good lol. The grade would be higher if we'd ever get Ethan & Theresa back together. Jared does nothing for me. Fox/Kay/Migual is so boring. I like the nuSheridan. Fancy & Luis are the bright spot of the show.

The teen slasher storyline was okay. Nothing great but not bad. I love Jade. She's so evil it's fun to watch. Gwen is boring. Meg/Paul/Emily is okay but it drags sometimes. The Holden/Luke stuff is probably my favorite storyline out of all the soaps. I love how ATWT is handling this storyline. Lucy does nothing for me as does Dusty. Not really paying attention to Simon/Carly/Katie/Mike

Y&R: B-

The show is great but my only complaint is the certain pimping of certain characters. I'm loving the Dru/Carmen/Neil stuff. Always, a fan of the Gloria vs Jack war. I just love Judith Chapman <3 Nick & Phyllis are hot hot hot.

DAYS: A

The show is on fire. I like every single storyline right now. I love how Lexie's become the #1 suspect in Eve's murder. I love how Beth M is wrapping up the Philip/Belle/Mimi/Shawn mess. I can't wait for all of Mimi's lies to come out. John & Marlena have been a blast to watch. Deidre has just been having some amazing scenes lately. Sami & EJ are hot as hell.

What happened to this show I used to rush home to watch? I don't care for the teen story at all. Damien's return was a bust...it shouldn't have been. Dusty/Lucy..not again! Never liked them, never will. Simon's return seems rather pointless but I do love his scenes with Carly and Carly as an independent woman away from Jack is preventing this show from getting an F from me. Mike/Katie..you'd think bringing Simon back would make these two interesting again. But everytime these two are on, they're merely filler. Paul/Emily/Meg...I don't even know what to think..I used to love that storyline. Now, I think everyone involved are idiots. I do like the Henry/Emily friendship. Luke's coming out..ehh..it was alright. I don't care for the story personally but it's the one I don't mind watching. I just hate how it often lacked direction, though. The writing needs to improve on this show asap..especially the layout of the stories 'cause I feel like half the stories on this show are going nowhere.

GL: B-

I love all the characters on this show except Reva, Ava, and Mallet. Although I admit that Reva has been getting on my frickin' nerves all year, it was a Reva thing to put herself first in the name of sacrificing for other people and this led to a pretty believable outcome (at least IMO) of Josh finally having enough and turning to the person who's been there a lot for him as of late. I love Josh & Cassie to death. I'll be sad when it's over. I liked how no one in this story was completely victimized or completely in the right. Everyone had a part to play in this mess. The baby story..umm, I liked the character interactions. I did like the idea of a Lizzie/Tammy friendship until Lizzie started crushing on Jonathan and falling in love with him. I do like Lizzie, though so even though I love Tammy/Jonathan to death, this story hasn't been total hell for me. The summer, however, was used to build up the story and we're starting to finally see some good stuff happening this month. The return of crazy Dinah..I'm thrilled. However, I'm not too thrilled with the continued pairing with Mallet. Love that A-M is now CEO of Spaulding and he's been integrated in more stories but he should have been used more. I don't care for the Buzz/Olivia/Frank triangle but I'm glad that's finally been resolved. Ava/Coop are on waay less. Same with Harley/Gus. So overall, everything was really grey for me...I might have hated a story in one aspect but liked it in another.
