I still can't believe that these two are gone after all the hell they've been through to come back to the show. And then they up and fire them.

Truthfully, though, I can see Hogan getting settled in at DAYS and maybe in a year or two...asking them back.

And I admire how graceful Peck is about leaving the show. It takes alot of guts to stomach something like that. Interesting how he kind of knew it was going to happen. Kind of like some of us already knew (when JER was writing) what certain stories were going to play out like, etc.

I like that Peck is taking this so well. And he's even open-minded to the idea of working on another soap.

Great interview.

Great interview.

I love AP, and I wish him the best of luck in the future! I am glad that the actors they are getting fired are going out with class. Looking at the positive instead of the negative.

Thanks for posting.

I just love his personality! I hope he'll keep blogging.

AP sounds like a really nice guy and is leaving with grace.

Interviewer: The Austin/Carrie/Sami/Lucas quadrangle has been around since the '90s. There's a fun familiarity factor for viewers there.

That's not quite how I would describe it.

No, but my description contains a lot of "f" words too ;)

Thanks for the link. They botched the returns so I'm not sad they're leaving, but IA with y'all about how cool it is for them to leave with class.

This is exactly how I feel.

Austin is classy. If they fired me, I'd rant around the set, trash my dressing room, and slam Ken Corday's face in the goodbye cake he got me.

My poor Christie...I hope JER brings her to Passions.

The crappy thing is that now the both of them are tarnished because their returns didn't lead to a huge ratings increase, even though it was the storyline and not them.

I whether be in New York to Austin! I like the in your face attitude, instead of the talk behind your back. Maybe they will hire him on OLTL since they just fired Dan. That would be a classic move by OLTL.

OMG, I LOVE your idea to bring them to "Passions."

Even if only for a few days.

Maybe NBC could cross-promote the shows during November sweeps or whenever Carrie and Austin get married. (If that happens, but I'm sure it will since we ALL know they fired them and Corday would want a happy ending to pacify fans). But maybe they could go on a cross-country honeymoon and, at one stop, END UP IN HARMONY!!

Yes, I said it!!!

And then it would be SO hilarious how Carrie and Austin reacted to Tabitha and the supernatural shenanigans over there. Carrie could work for Austin Reed and Company and the two could hatch a deal or merger with Theresa Crane! Oh, it would be SUCH a hoot!!!

I WANT THIS NBC.

Give it to me.

NOW.

I read the whole interview, it was interesting to hear what he had to say. He was very classy but he was pretty honest as well and you could sense the dissapointment in his tone or at least the way the article was written. I don't think, personally, Peck has the unique factor that will find him on another soap, but I think DAYS was a good place for him and he fit in.

Funny that he mentioned the shirt off thing. Who writes these stupid scripts?!! Also he mentioned the "temporary" thing. Wasn't always set that he signed a 3 year contract? Did anyone else remember hearing something about temporary.
