Oh, Lord. You reminded me about "Daytime for Gore." And its supporters. :(

I can handle Heather Tom, (who is MUCH more of a flaming lib than NLG), but I can't handle it when the other names, particularly some from my favorite soaps (PR) are mentioned in that camp. It's so shocking. :(

I should clarify this statement I made. It made me seem like I was saying Vaughan, Tognoni, and James were all psycho. That statement was directed towards people who love Michael Savage. And I guess John James is on that list.

Grahn is not a Conservative. LOL. She just said Greg was the only Republican she's ever liked.

As far as Tognoni goes, that was pure speculation. This board was talking about it the next day. NOT that she decided after winning Emmy Gold "Oh, I think I'm a Conservative." I should probably make my posts have more clarity.

Jackie, on this board, said Susan was fiscally Conservative and socially Liberal. I thought it was interesting that in the photo, La Lucci has her head down. Conservative or not, I still love her.

Other soap star's speculated political affiliations:

*Conservatives*

DeAnna Wright(ex-Kay, PASSIONS) who elected not to renew her contract because the character of Kay goes against her religious beliefs.

Kristian Alfonzo(Hope, DAYS) who was speculated as saying she didn't want to kiss Jeff Griggs(ex-Jude) after the "Tony Sinatra" scandal. But then again, I'm not sure if I could kiss a guy who was in gay porn, and I'm out, flaming, and proud.

*Liberals*

Everyone else(LOL, J/K)

I used to really like Susan Lucci, but I've recently started to lose my respect for her (various reasons). I still love Erica Kane (even though she annoys me at times) – I can still separate the actress from the character, but I can’t believe she would share the same stage with a vile person like Ann Coulter. This woman is completely insane and has said some of the most disgusting things imaginable. I’m fine with someone sharing differing political views from my own, but this is really questionable. Is Susan missing a few screws? As a native New Yorker, Susan should know better than to share the stage with someone who said those 9/11 widows were !@#$%^&*]es for speaking against Bush and enjoyed the deaths of their husbands. I’m pretty sure Susan is a more moderate Conservative (she's gay-friendly, ect.), but this is just wrong.

Anyone else find this comment disturbing? You're an odd one, JointStrikeFighter.

Why should you find it disturbing, Pine Charles? Especially since liberals, which you surely are one, all believe in the Almighty Right to Privacy. Certainly I'm afforded that same right, am I not? To NOT be judged for being a certain way in "private" than the persona I set forth in public? Because I find calling my right to privacy "disturbing" is itself a little disturbing -- not to mention insulting. IT's as if I'm presented as a psychotic person or a mental patient. I'm neither one of those things. I just have a different way I present myself in different settings. It's not multiple personalities. It's just showing different layers of the onion, as they say in psychology, at different times.

You’re missing the entire point. I seriously question if some of your posts aren’t jokes because they sound so ridiculous. Seriously. How old are you (just wondering)?

Did I say once you didn't have a right to privacy or were psychotic? It seems you must be ashamed of what you really are (gay/bisexual?) and you live a secret/double life. Sad

Pine Charles, I'm 23. I'm not joking, I'm just a little passionate about some things and often get carried away. Perhaps that's what you saw as a joke. but I must say, I looked through this thread and tried to find what I said that was so out of line but my search came up empty. Anyway, related to the other situation you mentioned, I'm not ashamed. I practice 'it' from time to time but that doesn't identify me. That's a separate aspect of my life that "arises" when it may. Other SON members have questioned what I mean by that and it's complicated. Hence, the privacy argument. Some situations force you into that lifestyle and others don't. Twenty percent of the time, I'm forced into that. In other words, I could write one HELL of a soap but I won't get into detail here. Let's just say it's a mix of the 'secret room' on "Days," sprinkled with a dash of Ethan and Theresa obsession on "Passions" and the Jack and Jenn's adventures in the newsroom on "Days."

Pine Charles, I appreciate your concern but I've had counseling and you know what she told me? (No lie): I didn't need her, I understand myself, my motivations and am in control of myself without her help. I'm not following you really. I'm not suicidal or anything. Yes, I have some problems but I have a clean bill of health and even my ex-counselor (a licensed, respected psychiatrist) said I didn't need her. I'll be fine as soon as I separate from my housemate :)
