I don’t think they do at all, but they often feel totally oblivious to how stories are playing.

This Chance reads really young to me. That’s not even taking wizened, sun-damaged old Donny Boaz into consideration. NuChance just has a college-dude vibe and voice to me. Sally should have been fired three times over for just rolling into folks’ offices and eavesdropping on conversations.

Roark Critchlow has definitely aged out of that type, but Mark Valley looks similar, as he was already pretty rugged.
