  1. The tea is piping hot:
  2. Strange man, that Fabio.
  3. This is so stupid but hilarious.
  4. Classic Michael T. Weiss (DAYS) and Steven Weber (ATWT) in “Jeffrey”:
  5. They talked a little bit about Dina (that he was just now getting over her death, thanks to Diane) and she, I recall, told Lily that she was just like her mother (gag). What bugs me is the erasure of Dru’s death, which I know is partly political. When Lily was making up with Devon and reminding him of all the losses and tragedies they survived together, she started with HILLARY’s death. I’m like, hello, you guys lost your MOTHER in a freak accident due to Phyllis and her schemes. Devon and Lily should have had more issues with Phyllis over the years. How hypocritical was it for GT Phyllis to attack Lily for her part in Hillary’s death at the funeral, when Phyllis herself played a part in Dru’s death? And Lily/Daniel just behave like Daniel’s mother and her past actions are water under the bridge. Of course, this show fetishizes Neil’s death, which… I KNOW… is partly due to how beloved KSJ was behind the scenes, how much press KSJ’s death gave the show, and some recency bias. (Even though Y&R treated him like [!@#$%^&*].) But as much as Neil is brought up, you’d think Devon and Lily would at least mention that they’ve been essentially “orphaned.”
  6. “Getting Away With It” is an all-timer. I loved this, which is basically a PSB song.
  7. Funny that Daniel Goddard didn’t like the stories where he did his best work. I thought Traci/Cane were cute together. But DG isn’t a professional. I wouldn’t mind that.
  8. Yeah. It was Russell T Davies’s announcement of her major role in the next season.
  9. This gala feels like old-school soap, like a ball at the Mona Lisa on ATWT. So many concurrent stories playing out in one room. People catching up and schmoozing. Whereas back in the day, they could pull this off every month, even more, it takes a half-century milestone to achieve this. Sad, but enjoying this little piece of nostalgia while it lasts. Still feels odd for Lauren to call Jill “sister.” TSJ is leaning into his Toddness big time.
  10. That was a ROUGH story to play with your spouse if you’re having marriage problems. Maybe they worked out some demons through it. I hated the story not just because it was SUCH a lazy (but PG) ripoff of what Big Little Lies did with the Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgård story, right down to the hot sex after the incidents of abuse, but Thad was the only actor on the show with real charisma at the time. Granted, he probably wouldn’t have returned without it, since it gave him a big acting challenge (but no Emmy nominations for him or Amelia).
  11. @DRW50 @Vee Don’t know if either of you are Drag Race fans, but this is SO COOL! Jinkx is awesome.
  12. Probably the most interesting set of spoilers for Y&R in years, even though half of it is stale Newman drama. (Thankfully no Sally.) Glad BC is sticking around for a while. Devon/Abby are a snooze as a lovey-dovey couple, but there’s potential drama with other characters if the show decides to commit to it, which we’ve started to see lately. Meh on anything B&B. Sometimes I forget it still airs.
