  1. Damn. We could've had Bryan Cranston instead of bland Scott Holmes.
  2. You mean they actually tracked down Kristi Ferrell after all these years?
  3. If she has a medical condition that makes wearing facial masks a no-no, then maybe her white privileged ass should just stay home. IJS.
  4. MAB really got That Black Storyline up and pumping, didn't she?
  5. Well, if it was the Horton house, they certainly picked the right location. That bridesmaid's entire story seems straight outta the Bill Bell era, lol.
  6. Bill Lawrence and his shows have always screamed "toxic white masculinity" to me, so...nope. I'm not interested either.
  7. And of course, there's also the allegation that Potter called Marland a "faggot."
  8. Could the "hungry associate producer" be Leslie Kwartin?
  9. Exactly.
  10. Those ARE interesting insights, @DramatistDreamer. Thanks for sharing that article.
  11. My thoughts are with you and your mother as well, @Faulkner. Now that states are easing up on lockdown restrictions, we all need to exercise more caution.
  12. That was, in a word, chilling. Man, I wish more of this stuff was available...somewhere. Thanks, @victoria foxton!
  13. Unfortunately, his warnings continue to fall on deaf ears around these parts (Oklahoma), as the deeply far-right, conservative types have convinced everyone else (well, ALMOST everyone else) that it is our God-given right to go out in public (WITHOUT masks and gloves) and either infect ourselves or others with a virus that, at the very least, will have lingering effects on one's respiratory system. But, on the plus side, I now have a good reason to draw a monthly disability check, as I am literally too damn afraid to leave my house even for groceries and medicine.
  14. Yeah, it's a close call for me as well. Mitch is blaming (the) Obama (administration) for (the) Trump's (administration) failure to act on COVID-19 in a more timely manner, saying he (Obama) failed to leave behind an adequate game plan for dealing with pandemics. Yours truly (upon reading McConnell's comments): "But he DID leave a game plan! And a team! And supplies! And YOUR guy ditched all three first chance he got!" I am so sick of the GOP's brand of Jedi mind wiping. And I'm sick of all the morons who fall for it Every. Single. Time.
  15. So do I, @DRW50. So do I. And the sad part is, many of those who are vulnerable voted these vultures into power; and they will do so again without a moment's hesitation. We are so, so screwed.
  16. LOL! Touche!
  17. Is there anything Pete Lemay DIDN'T say?
  18. He looks much thinner than I remember. Much, much thinner.
  19. What made TPTB think Heather Tom wouldn't leave? I'm sure she loved working at Y&R. However, she was (and is) a very skilled actress who could have been an asset for ANY series, daytime OR primetime. Ergo, not doing everything in their power to hold onto her was just the height of hubris and stupidity.
  20. Chances are, if AMC had stayed on ABC, the network would have forced the writers to cook up some cockamamie plot where a suddenly deranged Jacob kidnapped Jesse and assumed his identity in order to reunite with Angie.
  21. It says a lot that Mark Collier remained appealing as Mike Kasnoff even through some incredibly dumb writing.
  22. Agree. Granted, I wasn't alive to watch the Steve/Alice/Rachel triangle. However, from what I have gathered over the years, George Reinholt and Steve Frame were VERY popular with AW's audience. As one soap historian put it, the triangle was compelling, because Alice and Rachel each represented a side of Steve's nature.
  23. Thanks, @oltl1!
  24. All things considered, I think they would've been better off just sending Danny and Michelle into the Federal Witness Relocation Program. Then, down the road, if they wanted to bring back Michelle (with a recast), they could explain how the mob found and killed Danny, thus giving nuMichelle a reason to come out of hiding and come back to Springfield (namely, to avenge her husband's death).
