  1. Aw darn I missed Kim on WWHL. I think there was speculation, based on Twitter (and was it already discussed here?), that Danielle Staub had something to do with whatever event they were all at, some sort of White Party. Danielle coyly posted a photo of herself on Twitter, all dressed in white, saying she was going to a party of sorts... I really hope it's true.
  2. I grew to really love last season of NYC. It took awhile for things to heat up, but the new girls really grew into their own, created drama, and eventually integrated with the vets very nicely. I do agree though that it didn't help that they didn't showcase the new women's homelife and really introduce us to them in the first place. I definitely look forward to the next season, no matter what they throw us, as long as crazy Ramona is there Well it took her 3 seasons, but Cynthia has really become a force to recognize on ATL this year and I am actually enjoying her a lot. Her tiffs with the various ladies, her hair, and the lack of internal drama with Papa Smurf and her sister is all major plusses for her this year. Meanwhile, Phaedra is showing us that she can dish it but can't take it. She's really lost her spine and credentials this year. Loved all those Sheree gifs, LOL! I kinda miss her, but merely from a trainwreck standpoint. It's just so funny to watch her from season one when she thought she was top dog, and now she can't even afford a mattress for her growing son. Kenya brings the right amount of crazy to garner another season, for sure. Porsha can go. Her time-filler storyline is even worse than Cynthia ever was in season three. NeNe is love. Beverly Hills is just so good! ITA with what everyone's saying... Mauricio was getting all riled up for no reason and being a huge hypocrite. I'm glad someone (it was Lisa, right) brought up Adrienne's comment last year that "friends don't sue friends." Adrienne is just a vile creature, and hearing all the things she's done since this season was taped (false allegations that Paul was abusive to their children) really shows what vindictive, jealous shrew she really is. I did not miss her AT ALL these past 2 episodes when she was barely shown. Taylor and Kim... I can't decipher who's more loaded on pills. Taylor is so irrelevant and I think Bravo knows that there's no viewer interest in her. We've seen Camille twice as much as Taylor and have had more talking head interviews from Camille too. With Kim, it's like "one step forward, two steps back." As soon as she says something really telling and meaningful (like her relationship issues with Kyle), she backpedals into crazyland, like with her argument with Taylor. Just like before when I thought she had settled things with Brandi, but then ran to Adrienne to gossip about Brandi and stir up trouble at Kyle's event. Brandi may have gone over the line with her comment, but everything else since then she has been in the right about. Side note: I do love how most episodes these days basically feature Lisa, Brandi and Kyle as the main storylines, and all the other housewives are practically at the status of "friends of the housewives." It's so Lisa heavy and Brandi heavy (and yes, Kyle heavy too, I do like her despite her being the biggest two-faced [!@#$%^&*] stirrer of them all) and I LOVE that. Yolanda? Okay, she's starting to amp it up and tell her honest opinions of the ladies' crazy antics. This could finally get good.
  3. The BEST moment of Season 4, LOL I like things that are elegant and sophisticated... just like sticks. "What am I gonna visit, sticks?"
  4. Well, Bravo, actually was hoping for that. Funny that they became BFF's instead. It's quite telling that everyone is cool with each other, now that Wig and SheBroke are gone. But in all honesty, NeNe has mellowed drastically from the hothead she was in Seasons 2 & 3.
  5. "Ewwwwwww, is that what you do?" I loved the way she said that to Alison DuBois from the Dinner Party from Hell. I guess I'm the only one who likes Faye as a [!@#$%^&*] stirrer. She's better at it than someone like Taylor or Kim. I loved the transition from Beverly Hills to Vanderpump Rules. It was very AMC-to-OLTL during the babyswitch storyline in 2004. Remember? The only thing I really like about Vanderpump Rules is Miss Vanderpump herself. I don't think I'll be watching for the kiddies otherwise. I love those BH ladies, it's even more delicious than Atlanta this year, IMO. There keeps being rumors on Twitter (or wishful thinking?) that Danielle Staub is coming back to Jersey. I hope it's true.
  6. God, why is Dana still invited to these things.
  7. Dear God in Heaven LOL! I remember seeing that once but blocked it from my memory. Just wow. That's from a Madea movie, right? Kim looks like she's playing a character on Saturday Night Live with that cheapass wig and clown makeup.
  8. It's amazing to watch Atlanta Season 1 and see how busted up Kim and NeNe look... they both look atrotious! And even with the money, nobody told them BEFORE they started filming that they look a hot mess? lol Lisa and Sheree looked good right off the bat. (DeShawn isn't even worth mentioning)
  9. I was literally just thinking the other day while watching that one thing I love about Y&R is that it always has consistent, familiar background music that is so timeless and always sounds so rich and dramatic, never cheesy or outdated. Ugh...
  10. I wonder how long Atlanta and Beverly Hills run for? They both started at the beginning of November. I'm surprised they have only begun shooting for New Jersey and no other franchise. As for NYC, I hope all 3 new ladies return, along with Ramona.
  11. I liked how BH's Kim and Kyle were blaming each other for how the fight flared up. Kim makes a good point about Kyle being the sh*tstarter, but then again, don't they all have to discuss SOMETHING when the cameras are on? I love Faye. Yeah, it wasn't her business to attack Brandi, but I just love the way she dissects the situations. She did the same thing at "The Dinner Party from Hell" ("ewwww, is that what you do?" she said to the psycho psychic). I'd love to see her as a regular "friend of" the housewives like Camille. Oh joy. In the next episode, there's finally a story for Taylor and a glimpse into her sad lil' life.
  12. It's funny, watching the polls on WWHL where it's a landslide in Porsha's favor vs. Kenya... cuz even though Kenya's wrong, what's to like about Porsha? What is there to really root for? That's why I'd rather side with (and watch!) Kenya vs. Porsha cuz there's nothing for Porsha to offer us. It's also a strange vibe, watching the new ladies fight while the veteran ladies try to diffuse the situation. It really is a feeling of RHOA: The Next Generation. It also doesn't help that Porsha seems so much younger and immature vs. the veterans. Sure, Kim was 29 when she began the show, but she looked 10 years older and had an old sugardaddy, so her age didn't seem jarring compared to the rest of the cast.
  13. Nope, haven't seen her yet. I think I read she appears in like episode 8 or 10, or something way down the line (though I guess it'll be here before we know it!) I just recently watched the whole season 3 of New York (love, love, love! So much I could say about that season... it is EPIC) and you can definitely tell that Jennifer was meant to be something more than just a casual friend. From the way they introduced her through Jill and then later when crazy Kelly is recapping her warped version of what happened on Scary Island, it was her, Jill, LuAnn, and Jennifer seated at the restaurant. Jenn didn't say much. Maybe she did in actuality, but we didn't see it. But knowing what I knew beforehand while watching it, you could definitely see her as being the 8th housewife. Can you imagine EIGHT in an opening?
  14. It seems like they kind of test people out or have well laid back-up plans with castmembers, by taping scenes that may or may not ever make it to air. Didn't they film last year with Kesha Knight Pullium with the potential of her being an added housewife? And in season 3, it started out with Lisa Wu-Hartwell still being a castmember until things happened behind the scenes (lack of storyline, not willing to create a fake storyline, shady business, whatever the issue was) and she was dropped and we only saw her once in a group party scene at Kim's. Perhaps Porsha was one of the lucky ones who made it to housewife status after Kim left. Wasn't that also the case with that Marlee Matlin lookalike who was friends with Jill in New York's season 3, a test spot that ultimately went to Sonja?
  15. I love how NeNe cooled herself down before she got too heated. "Hold up! [pause, hands at her face] NeNe..." Love how she composed herself when she had had enough of Kim's B.S. Someone had to do it, and NeNe did it perfectly and you could tell Kim was intimidated that someone was actually calling her out on her bull. Great show. I can't believe I'm actually giving a damn about Cynthia. Girlfriend must know her days are numbered once NeNe leaves the series and she is determined to stick around! Porsha is still uninteresting.
  16. Well, Bravo had the event. I'm just glad Kim showed up I'm liking this season. Adrienne is petty indeed. Going on about Lisa not getting her own private bedroom in Ojai? Who CARES? Lisa certainly didn't. Love that Camille is there like the 8th housewife. It really feels like Taylor's a friend-of-the-housewives too, because we have yet to see her at home and she doesn't contribute much. I guess that'll change once the drinking goes over the edge.... WOW to BH beating ATL in the ratings. ATL is kinda ho-hum so far, but still entertaining overall.
  17. I thought the same thing earlier, that they just put in these isolated scenes to make it seem like she was a part of things early on.
  18. I'm starting to finally actually give a damn about Cynthia and it's about time! Throw her in the mix getting catty with the other ladies instead of fighting with Papa Smurf or the sister, and she finally gets a wee bit interesting. Cynthia totally should've whipped out the recording so there'd be no pussyfooting around it. I gotta say, Phaedra is THE WORST liar I've ever seen on any of these shows. First the "many doctors have different theories" lie about her baby's due date, and now this. And then the way she tried to change the subject by talking about a fly biting her booby... hilarious! If I haven't said it before, I'll say it now: Phaedra totally reminds me of a young, black version of Dolly Parton I hope next week they started integrating the newbies with the vets, because otherwise it feels like I'm watching 2 different shows. But I'm thinking next week it'll still be a focus on the vets (when they confront Kim) and the newbies will be peppered in there separately. Porsha is just uninteresting altogether. Kandi's Mama Joyce looks to be losing some weight! Good for her!
  19. LOL Poor Kim. She's so socially awkward and the whole world gets to see it. No wonder she drinks drank. I LOLed at David not recognizing Taylor. I'm sure Taylor's got plenty of BFF's that she only met once and they're now bosom buddies in her mind. Paul just wishes he could be holding diamonds and doing an opening sequence too cuz he's a bitch (and I don't mean he's a mean person, he's just a catty woman in an overweight man's body)
  20. Great line from Lisa. That says it all right there. Adrienne and Paul really are birds of a feather. So petty and desperate to be top dog. Lisa is fabulous just by being herself while Adrienne tries so hard to show even the tiniest glimmer of wit. I mean, really? Paul is complaining about "the Maloof hoof?" That's like Jersey's Caroline being upset about cookbook comments. There's more there than meets the eye and the Maloofs are just jealous haters. I was cringing every time they had a semi-closeup of Taylor. It's like they brought in some malnourished sick homeless person off the street, gave her some spare pants and a man's dress shirt, and let her join in on the party even though she's been drinking out of her flask all afternoon. She's just gross.
  21. So very true. I'm guessing the producers knew enough to plan the transition from the original ladies to the new crop o' gals, with Sheree gone, Kim going, and NeNe one foot already out the door, I'm sure season 6 will mark the first RH franchise where there's nobody left from season one.
  22. Porsha is a huge disappointment. I hope there's more to her than meets the eye. Kenya called it perfectly: she's the wife of, the granddaughter of... she isn't famous for being herself, and there doesn't seem to be much to her. It was weird watching their lunch meeting and then Portia's event, because like any new characters on a continuing drama, you need to introduce them with existing characters instead of having new characters on a separate storyline island. Kenya's only 3 episodes in, so she's still a newbie. So there you had newbie Kenya having issues with newbie Porsha who's surrounded by complete strangers to us. The only familiar face --- in a dress and blazer? --- was good ol' Lawrence. I liked watching NeNe and Cynthia in NYC. My husband is the same. Will not do the subway. But he's a diva too Kim complaining about her townhouse not being big enough for the 6 of them and there not being a pool for the beached whale to lounge in comes off badly, especially in this economy.
  23. Buwahah! I don't miss her, but I do kinda miss watching her be a total poser. She was just so desperate to look like a wealthy socialite. Yes, I agree that Kim's relevance went out the window as of last season when she suddenly acted like her gold-digging ways never happened. Bitch please. Your past will forever live on in reruns. I miss Lisa Wu-Hartwell too (I miss her husband even more... Goddamn he was fine!) I couldn't help but notice that big girl in the background during Kenya's scene. LOL. God, I so want to visit Atlanta and see this magical place for myself, full of half-man/half-woman creatures roaming the streets in 6-inch stilettos. Nobody does icequeen stares like Beverly Hills' Lisa. Adrienne is outta her league. Can't wait for the confrontation.
  24. I had to add it in when I kept seeing that GIF image of her going off on Jacqueline
  25. No more Manzos? In the words of Melissa, "Thank you Jesus!" I liked the family the first 2 years, but this past season was torture!!! (to quote Gia Guidice). Bye Kathy. You'll be remembered and revered about as much as NYC's Cindy Barshop. Oh, PLEASE make the return of Danielle Staub happen! She is the perfect dose of batsh!t crazy needed to make a reality show interesting! Wait, if all these cast changes come true and a gaggle of Teresa supporters join, that would make Jacqueline the odd man out. I'm down for this!
