  1. Ooh, I wanna see all of Season 2... Is on TV or do you have it on DVD? I gotta get my hands on it. There's something I just love about these NYC ladies, toxic bitches and all. Chit Happens, that photo of Ed Hartwell you have up is salivatingly yummy
  2. That was SUCH delicious irony! Yes, I loved how NeNe owned her tweet remarks.
  3. AGREED AGREED AGREED. Kelly Bensimon is such a vile, hypocritical, hateful delusional woman. I would take OC's Alexis and ATL's Porsha over that trainwreck any day of the week.
  4. Bloop! Her showdown against Starr Jones and the Casper the Ghost dig towards LaToya on The Apprentice 2 years back will forever go down as one of my favorite NeNe moments ever.
  5. That was my favorite part, watching NeNe's reaction to the other ladies going at it. "This is fun to watch!" or something to that effect she said. Poor delusional Kenya. Phaedra read her like no other, but I still like her. Looking forward to Kim coming next week and NeNe going in on Phaedra. And I really hope they bring up that phone conversation between Cynthia and Phaedra because that's the point when Cynthia finally won me over.
  6. Good. I'd love to see Chris and Jacqueline's dirty dealings brought to the forefront the way Teresa and Joe's have. Throwing sinks? I mean... this cast clearly loses their mind and all sense of right and reason when the cameras are rolling. I can't imagine the cameras weren't rolling when they were all hanging together at Punta Cana when the first (okay second, if you count the Posche fashion show from season two) time a big brawl occurred. The christening was way over the top, too.
  7. Two things, production wise, that I wish Melrose had kept up with as the show progressed... All that B roll footage of people walking the streets of Melrose looked SO outdated by the time they hit 1995, yet they used them til the very end in 1999. From the mom jeans to the holes in the butts (c'mon, you know that one girl they always show the backside of, who's got a HUGE hole right in the middle of her buttcheek), they really should've freshened up the footage they were using half-way through the series. Also, I loved how they actually filmed on the streets of Melrose as well as the real-life exteriors where the building was located, but that all stopped by the time they got to the 4th season. There's even one scene in season 5 or 6 involving Craig driving off, right outside the building, but they are so not really there and the tight camera angles couldn't hide that on me. It's weird how some shows, such as Melrose, made things cheaper and more simple as years progressed, especially considering the show was a huge success during seasons 2 through 4 and therefore you'd think Fox would've shelled out more money to continue more authentic location shoots. I guess that's one aspect I really like about seasons 1 and 2 is all the location shots and the realistic, grittier, blue-collar feel. (DYNASTY is another one that got lazy as the years progressed)
  8. OMG LOL That photo!
  9. Love! And yes, that husband is on the major creep factor. Kathy is like ATL's DeShawn (who?) or NYC's Cindy. The only difference is that she's related to the main attraction of her show, so that's how she's managed to stick around for 3 seasons instead of only 1. But she can eyeroll at a reunion like nobody's business!!
  10. I do agree that this season has a lot of strong contenders whereas last year they were mostly misfits, even for the drag world! I like Coco, but something about most of his drag looks make him look like an old woman. Last night, I thought he looked like he could be Jasmine Guy's mother! I'm not a big fan of Detox overall and ITA that Roxxxy is way overrated. He's had some BAD looks some weeks, and I think his lil breakdown a few weeks back definitely saved his butt from getting the boot at elimination. For top contenders, I think I'd have to go with the 2 funny girls/non-pageant queens, Alaska and Jinkx Monsoon. Since day one, Alaska has reminded me of a cross between Mackenzie Phillips (One Day At A Time drug addict) and Johnny Wier (flamboyant iceskater). Whaddya think?
  11. This show currently reminds me of how "getting read" is a term that's being overused nowadays, much like "fierce" or "sickening" in the past. Or "kiki". I cringe whenever a white person uses "kiki". (Mind you, I'm white, haha)
  12. Sleepover at Sheree's!
  13. *LOVE* this show! Been watching since Season 2 (love me some Jujubee!) Me and my partner cracked up watching this week's show, because it was so obvious that Ru intentionally chose Coco to be up for elimination against Alyssa just to make one final stand-off between the two battling divas. It was clear by the judges' comments that Detox should've been the other lady up for elimination. I think it was Alyssa's time to go, but I did enjoy her a lot. She makes a beautiful woman; outside of drag, he makes for a lot of drama.
  14. I like that guy too. The other 2 queens are just too much for me. It's like we're watching 2 humans transform from man to woman but they stopped half-way and stayed that way.
  15. I love how overall, there is still a love between the Beverly Hills housewives (minus Adrienne, of course, who nearly ruined the whole thing). Despite their ups and downs, they all seem to support each other for the most part. I'm SO glad to see Ramona, Heather, and Carole back for NYC! I was getting worried they were gonna ditch this series! I'm indifferent about LuAnn, Sonja, and Aviva. I think Aviva would provide alot of drama for the other 3, so I'd bring her back. I'd say bring Sonja too, just as backup for Ramona whenever she's being cornered by the other ladies. LuAnn? Well... I just don't know how relevant she'd be or what drama she'd bring to the table... NJ's Jacqueline looks like she's holding in her gut in that cast photo. She looks uncomfortable. I hear she pissed off a bunch of people on Twitter the other day for some remarks about Autism?
  16. I agree with those Cheap. I think the one saving point with Sonja on NYC is that she's Ramona's BFF. Those two paired together create alot of mischief. NJ's Jacqueline and Kathy should've worn dresses that cover their arms. Just saying I agree that OC's Tamra is the trashiest of 'em all.
  17. Let's hope they pull a last-minute switcheroo on us. They can easily photoshop her basic ass out.
  18. I can sip some Pinot and breathe a sigh of relief. It was announced that New York is returning. New Jersey is returning June 2nd. Lisa's Vanderpump Rules is also getting a second season. P.S. On the Bravo TV topic, I'm SO glad Tabatha's returning this Thursday!
  19. Wow, for the first time since I entered the Real Housewives world, I sat through an entire premiere episode of OC and was entertained! I love Gretchen. I don't care what her faults are, she's just so damn pretty and I love her laugh. I think she'd be better off with less make-up though. She's young; she doesn't need all that goop on her face. Back to my favorite group, the Beverly Hills bitches: I totally agree with others that Splits and Rambles Richards were trying to twist Duchess Yolanda's words, but neither she nor Queen Lisa were going to fall for it. Yes, there were some comments made, but nothing as vicious or behind-the-back like Rambles tried to insinuate. I do get Princess Brandi's point about Splits always discrediting Rambles' sobriety, but I can understand why Splits would be cautiously optimistic... it just comes off as pessimistic. As erratic as she was, Rambles did more at the reunion than Taylor. There was just nothing for Taylor to even discuss, considering most of her storyline was cut out. It was nice to see the girls cheering on Queen Lisa at DWTS. You can just see the joy on Princess Brandi's face; she is genuinely happy for her.
  20. Excellent Top Ten choices my friend OMG I can't wait for next week's Atlanta reunion. "Come on, Wig!" Kandi mistakenly admitted on WWHL that Kim and NeNe have a "lovefest" at the reunion. Andy tried to cover, but we all knew anyhow via tweets. Kenya and that fan! LOL This woman is a character! But I love it. I loved NeNe being the voice of reason to Kenya at the party. She's come a long way, and I love that none of the ladies have any issues with her being the smart one to reel the crazy ones in. Porsha and her status update... I mean... You can just tell when Bravo doesn't like one of the ladies anymore. lol. Not that there's much to say. If it had been one week earlier, they'd probably say something like, "Porsha is still enjoying her pitcher perfect life. She and Kordell aren't pregnant. Yet." or some throwaway remark like that. Huge props to Cynthia. She really turned it out this season and made herself someone that people actually care about. She looked stunning as always.
  21. I think Kyle believes she could or should be in the same league as Lisa, in terms of saying witty comments and being Queen Bee, but she is failing miserably. She's like Jill Zarin of NY, thinking she could be the smartest, sassiest woman of the show instead of Bethenny, but ended up sabotaging herself.
  22. The smartest housewife to make a brand out of all of this, of course, is Bethenny. Wonder if a couple appearances from her would boost interest in a new season of NYC. I think one of the smartest words of advice I've ever heard a housewife utter is when Ramona told daughter Avery that the best thing you can do is to make sure you get yourself an education and have a talent/profession of your own, because you must never rely on a man for wealth and security because you never know what can happen in the relationship and you have to be able to support yourself. (She saw her mother live a life of regret, being stuck in an abusive relationship).
  23. I agree. She's just too... dumb. Even with a half-decent storyline, I just don't feel empathy for her because she's so blindly ignorant in all aspects of life.
  24. I wonder what the issues are with NYC. It's very telling that it was supposed to start filming in February, then March, then April... and now this. I think if they went back to focusing on all the fabulous perks of being a New Yorker instead of going on endless trips elsewhere, it'll bring back that old feeling again. The city, like in Sex and the City, is part of the charm of the show. Trips to locales near the center of the equator does not equal New York. Of course, that's one aspect. The dynamics between the ladies of course are a huge aspect and perhaps a huge issue with filming a new season.
  25. Yes. That was ridiculous, backtracking like that. We saw and heard in her talking head comments how near 'n dear her friendship was with Adrienne. Nice try, lady. Loved how Lisa called her out on what the Kyle/Mauricio and Adrienne/Paul friendship was really based upon...
