  1. Aviva's back for RHONY! http://www.realitytea.com/2013/04/26/aviva-drescher-signs-on-for-last-minute-return-to-real-housewives-of-new-york-visiting-boston-marathon-bombing-victims/
  2. Jesus Christ, her ex-husband is 82?!? Didn't know that...
  3. Seasons 2 and 3 are my favorite, but in terms of "quality" where there's better characterization and better relationship development between friends and lovers, I'd say 2 is best as 3 is pretty quick-paced. I do love that innocence of Season 1 though, especially once they find their groove when Amanda joins. Soapfave06, I agree with unnecessary conflicts in season 4, and I *totally* thought the same thing when recently rewatching when Hayley gets mad at Allison for going into his ex-wife's room, like it was some sacred shrine... only to reveal in the very next scene that their marriage was loveless and the room was only there for Brooke's benefit. Made no sense other than to have conflict between 1 commercial break. And yes, the personality shift in Taylor from season 5 to 6 goes from edgy east coast bitch who's a force to be reckoned with... to a flighty, cartoon dingbat. Despite this drastic personality change, I thought Rinna pulled off both personalities perfectly. What was everyone's favorite and least favorite versions of Allison Parker? I think Courtney Thorne-Smith is such a dynamic underrated actress. I'm not gonna lie, I love how season 1 is basically The Allison Parker Show. Every nuance of her life was discussed ad nauseum, especially the first half when it was self-contained episodes. Season 3 is Allison at her all-time hot-mess self, being an alcoholic and then a power-bitch in heels as President of D&D. I love how she gets her strength back in season 4 (and my husband LOVES her HAIR in season 4, ha!) but I HATE that she gives up her job so easily and takes a minimum wage waitressing job at Shooters and then gets involved with Jake. Allison was established as being such a determined woman who wanted to make something great of herself; to have her working at Shooters for an entire year was ridiculous IMO.
  4. I agree. My problem with OC is that they're all pretty vile, rotten, superficial bitches with no one real stand-out star (there's no NeNe, Lisa, Bethenny, Teresa, etc.) It's just a sea of vapid blondes and 1 has-never-been actress. And that new girl? Yikes. I'll refrain myself from saying mean, but funny, remarks about how she looks. My favorite is still Gretchen, but it's really like choosing the lesser of all the evils. What the eff was with Vicki getting all bent out of shape because Gretchen cracked a joke (a joke, get it? Like funny, ha-ha? Oh, I look forward to Teresa returning...) when Vicki said "my baby". Chillax Miss Piggy!
  5. Interesting, thanks! I love this. You have a way with words.
  6. She can't pose to save her life. Caroline still has that "twist of lemonface" pursed lips look.
  7. Oy, this Twitter desperation reminds me of another Atlanta lady once rumored to be joining.... but I won't go there. This is sad. I'm wondering who'll bite at the chance to do this "exposing" of Miss Leakes. Are Howyoudoin' Wendy Williams and NeNe on good terms? I can never keep track of that drag queen's friends or foes.
  8. I agree. Danielle was frighteningly paranoid, but boy did she provide for some great trainwreck drama. I hope the continuous rumors are true that she'll be appearing at some point this upcoming season. YAY! A NeNe spin-off! Imagine all the new one-liners we can quote!
  9. Beaver's Ass LMAO! I'd love for Caroline and Jacqueline's dirty laundry to finally be aired out, especially the twitterholic Jacq. I also would love it if it were exposed just how thirsty sis-in-law Melissa was to get on this show and the lengths she promised to go to to be relevant for the show.
  10. So glad they're continuing to release the series on DVD! But that photo of Linda and Joan? Yikes, Linda looks older than she should, and Joan is giving off a "who farted?" expression.
  11. I love that, LOL. It's quite a simple concept, yet NeNe has had to explain that to Phaedra TWICE now at two different reunions.
  12. I read that. Very interesting stuff. I like this remark:
  13. I wonder what goes on in that woman's mind. In season two, it seemed she wanted to be anywhere but on-camera, and was only sticking around for the paycheck. The woman is allegedly sober from alcohol now (but that doesn't rule out other substances), and if she truly wants this time to be the time where rehab works, she needs to get off TV and out of the public eye where people criticize and critique. But if she's hoping for a resurgence in fame and fortune, well, good luck with that.... Although I must admit that Kim's presence on TV is a helpful reminder to stay out of the sun or else you'll have unattractive sun damaged skin in your later years.
  14. I think Jinkx will win because he was such an underdog that everyone else thought wouldn't be competition. Although, isn't Alaska the only queen that never lip-synced for his life this season? Ugh, Roxxxy boo-hoo'ed his way up to the top 3.
  15. So glad to hear The Duchess will be back to team up with Queen Lisa and Princess Brandi! This triumvirate is the best friendship of all the HW's. I'm actually cool with Taylor returning. I agree with others who said she redeemed herself this season in terms of who she's alligned with. She's still a non-issue and just filling a seat, but she's good at stirring the pot when needed. Maybe she'll just be a "friend-of" like Camille was this past season. I still like Camille, and obviously Andy loves her. Perhaps she will pop up again in season 4, with enough coaxing from Mr. Cohen.
  16. What did we all think of Kim's choice of dress to wear? Not flattering from the side angles AT. ALL.
  17. I think Kandi is liked overall, whether she's the focal point or a supporting player. She always has an opinion to say, she has the impending marriage, always has new business ventures... I can see why she'd be brought back for another year. I don't remember much whisperings about this Angela Stanton lady? But it's funny that Kenya said she's in her dressing room, ha!
  18. She doesn't. Only if Kandi was pregnant at the time and so was Wig, then it'd be a crappy move on Wig's part. But a potential baby name on a potential baby that may or may not ever exist? No case.
  19. I really hope there's some funny gifs made out there of some of Wig's facial expressions. Like when she first sat down and Andy asked her a question, she had some clownlike face going on. Kandi might have a case if she had a bun in the oven, but to say Wig stole her baby name idea when Kandi hasn't even had a child in some 11 or 12 years? Sit down.
  20. I love how NeNe finally called Phaedra out on bringing Marlo onto the show and talking to her sisters behind NeNe's back. I also like how NeNe clarified that the 3 haters that tried to stir up trouble were Phaedra, Wig, and "big-nose Sheree". Wig and SheBroke were her biggest haters, and Phaedra got onboard with them. I love how Phaedra could barely utter any words for a comeback other than a sheepish apology, which NeNe accepted. NeNe owned Part 2. I'm glad they took Wig to task over the fact that the girls and Bravo production worked hard to accommodate Wig's schedule, only for her to back out at the last minute without proper notice.
  21. So true. I hope we get more of her during Part 3. That's the thing about Cynthia, she calls a girl out, and then it gets resolved and they move on, instead of dragging it out and making it a huge ordeal for the whole season. The woman is classy, but it makes for merely short-term story arcs. Still, she needs to be there next season. She's waaaaaaay more relevant than Armstrong.
  22. 100% agreed. She finally found a voice for herself, and I find myself rooting for her like I never have before. She can call people out on their bull, but doesn't get ugly or nasty about it. Don't play with her, cuz she won't back down or roll over. I'm loving this new Cynthia!
  23. Yeah, I think LuAnn has definitely gotten off easy throughout the years in terms of being guilty of stirring the pot and instigating arguments. She was quite the two-faced C[o]untess in season 3. Naughty, naughty! But wait. Isn't Faye already....?
  24. Ha! I always liked her. I've heard bits 'n pieces about her shadiness since then, though... can you enlighten me?
  25. There was some sort of off-camera argument that happened towards the end of Season 2 that affected their friendship yet again but the Bravo cameras weren't around to capture it (much to their dismay), but they discuss it afterwards, and I think Wig said NeNe put her hands around her throat. But who knows what's truth and what's fiction when Wig is involved. At the S2 reunion, Wig is very brief about the explanation as to what went down between them, and is quick to say they patched things up and just want to move on. Hmm.
