  1. Ah, thanks for the insight on Sonja. All the former RHONY seasons are on my Christmas Wishlist Just heard the new lines... love! Oh NeNe, there is nobody like you, lol. Cynthia's line about "beauty fades; class is forever" is a throwaway line, ha.
  2. Whoa! A revamp like NYC! (just watched the visuals, no sound on my work computer) But aren't there 2 new girls, not one? Will she be added later? On a related question, was Sonja introduced mid-way through Season 3 of RHONY and that's why there's 2 openings floating around on YouTube, one with and one without her?
  3. Ha! Great overview of BH. We think a lot alike Team NeNe, Lisa, Teresa.... what's your opinion on Ramona? I cannot wait to see Adrienne's downfall.
  4. It started off slowly and I thought, wow this is gonna be a long season, but then once it started generating some good story, it felt like we were just in the middle of the season, not the end. Like the saying goes, "it was just starting to get good!"
  5. YES!!! Those are my 2 favorite! Even better than the hilarious-but-overplayed table flipping shot.
  6. I *so* wanted her to beat Jacqueline's ass at that point. Chris B, interesting information about all the storyline scenarios Bravo worked on to have this big season finale blowout. I could only hope that the Gorgas/Guidices are all in on the scam and are playing out the frustrations on camera, but I don't think they're that good of actors. ITA, the NYC reunion was so... refreshing. Snarkiness, not pure hatred. So much better. And a definite chance that all the ladies could work out their differences next year.
  7. I think it would be interesting if they brought Jill back. I'm not a huge fan of hers, but it would give LuAnn an ally and create story with both the veterans and the newbies. After all, she IS one of the well-recognized faces of the RHONY franchise. Maybe the year off after being FIRED will humble her.
  8. Great casting!!! Mmm Jordi Vilasuso as Joe Jorga, there ya go! Gotta LOL at a bloated Brandon Buddy as Chris Manzo. Hunter Tylo would make for a good Danielle, she's got that pulled-back face thing going on too.
  9. Ooh another bit? Yay! Hope it's posted online. I was hoping to see more of Josie Bissett and Laura Leighton, since we didn't hear much from them originally.
  10. OMG I loved when Teresa got up and Andy was ready to take another accidental beating from her. Jacqueline really needed a good hard smack across her face. She had no business getting in another family's affairs. And you know what, it doesn't matter if Teresa had an exclusive tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer; if Teresa asked that her legal business not be discussed on camera, everyone should've respected that. Teresa respected Jacq's request that her son's autism not be discussed (and so Teresa didn't... and then she gets badmouthed for not wanting to discuss it.)
  11. Yup. Her face said it all. Chris cheated on her. A lot of what these ladies don't say but what their expressions show tells us the truth (even if its full of botox). Meanwhile, Kathy is an EXPERT at rolling her eyes. Way to stay relevant.
  12. RHONY reunion was awesome! Just the right doses of snarkiness and fighting without there being all-out hatred, threats, and humiliation. Totally agree with Chris B and DaytimeFan. You bring up interesting points about Carole, and how she didn't come across as being so witty and quick-thinking without the help of editing and preparation. I did think there were points that The Countess looked a little defeated and like she had put her foot in her mouth. 100% agreement about Aviva and how she backpedaled due to viewer backlash, and loved that Ramona called her out on that. Then there's Heather... I grew to really, really like her. She really tells it like it is, and maintains composure and class. I think she was the clear cut "winner" out of all of 'em. And she's right: it's better to remain calm and just put a smile on your face when you're having a disagreement in a public place rather than to go off like a chicken with its head cut off. Looking forward to next week's Part 2 and the Jill Zarin interview! P.S. I love Alex's NY recaps!
  13. My dream one-on-one would be to bring on Danielle Staub. But I have a feeling her juiciest tidbits would be things that Bravo wouldn't want her to reveal...
  14. Yay thanks so much!
  15. Damn, I hope it's put online. Totally forgot to TiVo
  16. What's ironic is how many of them phrase it, "you exposed Melissa being a stripper" etc. and other phrases that basically validate that Melissa was in fact a stripper at one point. Not that it matters, though Melissa keeps denying it, something she must've learned from the sister-in-law she hates so much. It is sad to see Teresa sitting there with Joe. You can just tell that things aren't all "lollipops and roses," as Caroline would put it. Funny how Jacqueline was going to take the high road, and then pieces of her own shady past started being mentioned, and she went straight for the jugular. These Jersey ladies are the very definition of hypocrisy. And I'm sorry Caroline, but Teresa talking to former castmate and real-life friend Dina is NOT the equivalent to Teresa's sister-in-law and cousin going behind her back to get on the show with the promise to producers that they would bring her down.
  17. Thanks for the info! Will be TiVoing that! There must be a good reason Thomas Calabro wasn't included. And yes, he looks GREAT, remember him the in the reboot? Even better than he did in the 90's! I agree that Courtney Thorne Smith looks wonderful as well. Aside from a few bad haircuts, she was probably one of the most beautiful of them all.
  18. I think they should try another reboot, and pretend the CW version never existed in the Melrose universe. Especially if it airs on a different network. Oh, well, dare to dream. That ship has sailed I guess.
  19. Wow, they look amazing! Very surprised we don't see more of Laura Leighton nowadays, but perhaps that's how she prefers it. I think they have all the right iconic people there EXCEPT Michael Mancini!! The one & only actor there from day one til the series finale. It had to have been a scheduling issue?
  20. Yup. I love the see-thru dress on Caroline, showing off her lovely white bra Thank goodness there's a photo of Teresa covering her nether regions...
  21. Ooh, cannot wait! Lisa looks fabulous as always, and right in the center where she should be. The lighting does NO favors for Taylor, yikes...
  22. Notable No-Show: The Irrelevant Kathy. Teresa's previous and countless cover stories are not solely targeted at other castmates, but rather her own struggles, marriage, life's predicaments, etc. etc. Granted, a lot of it is fluff and poppycock, but I just find it interested that the only way for any of those 3 to get a cover is to devote an entire article around bashing Teresa. Only an autistic child will grant one of them a brief time in the spotlight. It's kinda sad how catty and trashy they've ALL become. No one is "better" than anyone else at this point.
  23. I think NYC really gelled during the 2nd half, and I could see all 6 ladies staying, but I could also see various changes made in differing scenarios. One way or another, I do think they'll keep at least 1 of the originals (Ramona or LuAnn) with Ramona being the more likely choice to keep if they only kept one veteran. Sonja has gotten a safe pass for being Ramona's BFF, so I can't see them letting her go if Ramona is kept unless they casted someone who Ramona is already "real-life" friends with, cuz let's face it: Pinot Singer is an acquired taste that not everyone prefers I think the Heather and Carole friendship that blossomed was a fantastic dynamic, and they were really the ones who could take a look at the bullsh-t outside of the box and be real about it all. I think Aviva would be good for another season, but she looks kind of miserable overall. Speaking of free passes, I know I give Ramona one since I enjoy her nuttiness, but Sonja came across bad this season. I haven't seen all of the past seasons, but has she always been so self-entitled, selfish, and unaware? If it weren't for her Pinot buddy, she'd have gotten the ax too.
  24. Gotta agree wtih Cheap and Eric about last night's reunion. Wow, did Kathy even speak during the first half? So irrelevant. I guess getting bad cosmetic surgery and hurling insults about in-laws who aren't even of this show is her way of bringing something to the table? It was also funny when Caroline was saying she doesn't get cosmetic surgery and Jacqueline had a guilty lil smirk like, "I do!" I do think Teresa would do herself a lot of favors by owning up to some things that clearly are truth, like mentioning to castmates that Melissa was a stripper. That's hardly a big deal, especially if she said it to Jacqueline/Caroline back when Melissa first joined the show. Melissa is such a phony lil soap actress, even Charity Rahmer can do shock and awe better... Caroline and her family are the definition of hypocrisy. Caroline ALWAYS would say, "Don't bring the kids into this!" (even though her kids are in their mid-20's, but I digress) and here is her a--hole daughter Charlie Brown Lauren going after Teresa's kids. We may not all agree on who the villains are nowadays, but there's no doubt everyone will agree that Danielle Staub was one of the most delusional paranoid troublemakers ever (can you imagine if her and Kelly Bensimon became friends?), but just the idea of her returning for season 5 and teaming up with Teresa would be EPIC. Sadly, I doubt that'll happen.
  25. You mean she would fail miserably at it, Mrs. Guidice j/k
