  1. Jen Lilley was on Dishin Days a few years back and made it seem as she would never do GH again Molly could work if she was open to it
  2. So Jen Lilley will briefly play Teresa again but why only brief? What happened that causes the recast?
  3. Yep and so did Days. They actually got in trouble for it. Legally the writers have to come back post strike
  4. Alan interviewing Helen & Malcolm was hard to watch Its so amazing at 97 she still teaches acting but seeing that she has memory issues was difficult (probably trigged cause of My Dad's experiences before he died) However what still came thru was Helen's love for Ryan's and that was a beauty to see
  5. The thing I hate about this Fi Core and Daytime soaps thing is that GH is taking all the heat. Days, B&B and Y&R also use Fi core writers during this strike but hardly or no mention of those three soaps
  6. They were trying to get Charloette Ross back. Hope not for this
  7. The writers went on strike before Jackie Zeman died. I would hope Frank would tell fi core writers not to touch that and it will be addressed after the WGA strike ends.
  8. I think she is here at least a year
  9. Not The actors And most soap writers tend to write from home but i get what you are saying
  10. They were picketed but they are in a different contract and can continue to produce episodes https://www.forbes.com/sites/alisondurkee/2023/07/14/sag-aftra-strike-heres-what-isnt-affected-by-actors-work-stoppage/?sh=6d5c9da02390 Strike_Can_Work.pdf
  11. None Just some context of history is all
  12. I believe Ronald Regan had something to do with Fi-Core status
  13. No Idea probably WGA only has one Contract
  14. Also WGA only has one contract. SAG has many. One is the TV/Film/Streaming which is currently on strike The netcode with covers daytime dramas, Variety, talk, news, Game and Reality shows expires in July of 2024. What should happen is the Netcode contract and the TV/Film/Streaming contracts be combind or at least have both these contracts start and end at the same time
  15. Oh I get it. They are seen as scabs and Im not devaluing any of that. Just was explaning for people who didnt know about fi-core. Saw a lot of that on Twitter tonight
  16. Yes but Fi-Core writers are allowed to write during the strike for non struck work. Daytime soaps are non struck work. Oh they can call them scabs but FI-Core is an option that the WGA gives They give up voting, cant hold office Still pays dues Can write during strikes for non struck work. Daytime soaps are non struck work.
  17. No the issue is that Lisa knows Soaps are under a different Contract but also seems to think SAG AFTRA is striking over that contract as well. They are Not. The Netcode Contract goes thru July 2024. Fi-Core writers can write for the soaps since they are not struck work UNTIL the WGA strike is over.
  18. RIGHT But since Soaps are not strike work Fi-Core writers can replace the writers UNTIL the WGA strike is over.
  19. The issue is that soaps are under the NetCode Contract. This Contract goes thru July of 2024. Daytime soaps are not struck work. So Fi-Core writers are not barred from writing for them If Daytime soaps were part of the TV/Film/Streaming Contract which is currently struck then no writers even fi-core could write Daytime Dramas
  20. According to wikipedia and IMDB he hasnt acted in a while
  21. Isnt Jason Gebhardt supposed to begin subbing as Eric soon?
  22. Agreed. There are many actors in their late 30s to 40s that can play Lucas
  23. Any Actor that is part of SAG-AFTRA can still audition for & accept a role on a soap opera since said soap operas fall under a different contract: The Network Code which is in effect thru July 2024.
