  1. Lol! I am totally burying the lead here. A ton of different things happened that were more important. It was a good episode.
  2. Liz told Dante Rocco shot Callum so it actually was important
  3. Nice people being nice to one another is why I watch GH. Lol. Just kidding.
  4. Dante/Liz are back on!!!
  5. Helena or Stavros were keeping him captive? It's vague in my mind, but it had to do with the Cassadines somehow and I remember being 100% sure it was JJ's Lucky and it was Ethan. That's where the good Laura/Ethan scenes happened if I am remembering right lol. I feel like I am barely a reliable narrator right now though 😂
  6. Haha thanks! I remember Ethan being held captive with a bag over his head and we thought it was Lucky, but it wasn't. I didn't have a core memory to describe other than a Luke/Laura adventure.
  7. Ethan was there for some reveal in Luke/Laura's adventure on the Haunted Star during the 50th? When they held hands and jumped off the boat together. I know that's the vaguest description lol. It was a real fake out because you thought it was going to be Lucky. He definitely was also around for Luke's exit in 15. It's odd the show is trying to make Emma/Britt a real thing. It's not. The Rocco situation is bad enough. Emma (or Robin/Patrick) wouldn't even pay attention to her at this point. ETA-Nathan Parsons/Dean did 2 episodes on April 2 and 3rd 2013 and two episodes in July 2015------------if google isn't lying to me lol.
  8. I would 100% agree Lily would have been the better wife for Sonny and Jax would have been the better husband for Brenda. There are actually a lot of nuanced scenes where it's quite clear these partners would be the rational and healthy decision. Lily was just too passive on everything to be likeable. Brenda is and was obnoxious, but stood her ground. Lily was more so 'fine' with everything it was annoying. I hated the way everyone (especially men) were so bamboozled by her being nice and polite. She was very beautiful so I get it. She had no female friends which should be a clue. I always felt if Sonny wanted an equal partner he should never gotten involved with a nosey teenager. I will always die on the Sonny/Brenda hill, but was it actually smart? No? Especially if the end goal was power. The toxicity was bad. Sonny saying he wanted to hit her more than once would never fly today. Also, love those Chris Isaak songs. I think "Things go wrong" was the main song they used lol.
  9. Lily is extremely passive aggressive and went after Sonny full well knowing he was still in love with Brenda. Then was sad when she made her daddy buy her a husband and he was STILL in love with Brenda lol. How did Lily think this was going to go? She also did annoying things like make Robin her bridesmaid. She basically tried to steal Brenda's life. Lily did have really cute sweater and dress sets that I covet in 2026 so there's that for her.
  10. Lol! I was a kid, but I felt like Lily might have gotten out of the car or something? It's pretty ruthless to kill off a young, pregnant, school teacher even if her character was legitimately awful. Definitely not mad that she's still dead dead though.
  11. I do think the show was trying to do something with the Emma/Britt scenes. Thaw the ice maybe? They talked about Robin's HIV. But Emma should not have to have this woman she hates do a routine OBGYN exam. It didn't land. Maybe if Emma got hurt or thought she was pregnant or something it would have been okay, but she obviously could have just rescheduled her appointment and got her birth control called in to the pharmacy.
  12. I think Ethan and Lucy were both in town for the 50th anniversary, but I definitely don't recall them interacting. Holly/Robert having Sasha is one thing. Fine. Whatever it makes no sense, but they were a popular couple. Dead Dominique having a kid with Mac is super random because no one cares. There isn't any drama there because any person that would care has left the canvas.
  13. You are sort of correct. Adela fell down the stairs accidently, but Trevor told Ric that Sonny pushed her. He actually did not. Trevor was also married at the time. Trevor told Adela to give Sonny up for adoption and she didn't and left Ric with Trevor and took Sonny. Trevor created a narrative that Sonny was jealous of Ric and that's why Adela left. I do not believe Sonny/Ric interacted as kids but I suppose it's possible. IIRC, the show framed it as Adela abandoning Ric entirely and she kicked Sonny out when he was 16 for Deke so she was a fantastic mom! Ric probably was better off because Adela sounds generally awful even though the show makes her out to be a saint.
  14. What a weird episode. Emma has to deal with Britt giving her a pelvic exam?
  15. I guess you missed the long, long running Body & Soul situation. Kate knows Joy because of that. She was a star and Kate was a producer. Chloe is only mentioned in passing.
  16. I think it's a little presumptuous for Cam to assume Drew has a long shelf life ahead considering his been blinking for half a year just because Frank is his bud. But CM has done a lot of non soap work and is pretty employable so it might be true.
  17. I know. Lol. I really fear for the PCPD at this point.
  18. I get it. Probably every story arc went on for 2 years too long. John/Marlena should have reunited post-Aremid. There really was no reason for John to go back to Kristen after that. In a rewatch as an adult you find every Days character dumb and missing a lot of social cues lol. I loved it all as a kid though! I have such mixed feelings about the Devil Possession in general. Not my favorite story, but the reveal was pretty great. If you wander into to the Days thread you will know my feelings about Hope. So I could've cared less she was alive.
  19. Every time Liz and Ric are on together I keep asking is this a thing still? I even liked Liz/Ric back in the day too. It feels like Liz is far too old and wise to be dealing with Ric again and they appear so infrequently I legitimately forget they are a "couple?" Sort of. As far as Sonny/Jason beating Sidwell? He's tough to beat if you don't even try lol. Have they done anything to actually stop him ever? With Laura, I think they need to finally cut the cord with Kevin, but no romance with Ezra. I am totally fine with her being mayor and her questionable ethics. I think always saying Kevin and Ace are out of town limit her story wise. Also, are BLQ and Chase super dumb? Ethan asked them an entire laundry list of questions about Delilah and the baby and they weren't suspicious at all? No single man is that interested in a kid lol.
  20. Yeah, Steve's lived in Nashville for a while. He probably had two homes but I remember SOD articles about he and his wife living next to Missy and Scott Reeves.
  21. Lol! I did notice that.
  22. I feel for the kid, but was more obsessed about the fact the only GH picture TMZ could find was Jason sitting on Brenda's Rome couch in 2010. Well, to be fair it's probably more awkward that I know that's Brenda's Rome couch by picture.
  23. The TMZ Steve Burton news of the day- 'General Hospital' Star Steve Burton's Alleged Texts With Ex-Wife Used as Evidence For some reason I thought all of his children were over 18. I guess it explains why he needed time off and what MB was saying to Kelly T. on the State of Mind show.
  24. Yes, and if Jordan was still pretty and not scarred no one would care, right? It would be a harmless accident. The woman scarred on a soap due to an accident is a fine old trope. I can't bring myself to care because it's actually her fault and Curtis's. They both were being stupid while she was driving. They seem to be placing the blame on others with little self-awareness.
  25. Good topic. GH- I will have to go with Clink, Boom as well. I was waiting all weekend to make sure Lily was for sure dead lol. I was just a young carolineg back then, but I don't think it was heavily spoiled at all. The Amazing Grace montage. The music, the sequence of events and the ending with Brenda revealing herself to Sonny only to see him got shot was pretty awesome. Days- John/Susan's wedding in 1997. I know everyone remembers the teeth falling out into the drink, but finally everything was happening. JER was wrapping his stint up and most of his stories were all actually concluding. Days in Summer of 1997 was pretty great-especially since GH in summer 1997 was not lol.
