It might have when Victor betrayed Marlena with the whole Kristen/Brady wedding saga with the tape of the Eric/Kristen rape being exposed, but I can't recall. When John was helping Maggie with Konstantin he kept expressing how Maggie was their good friend, so that's where I assumed it was at currently.

So, I agree that it's on Deidre and I agree there is an obvious issue. The show could also lean into this by saying Marlena feels uncomfortable sharing her feelings over John and still hasn't accepted it. Thus being stiff and awkward while the other ladies have come more to terms with their losses.

I think Suzanne tries slightly more than Deidre or at least fakes it better. It was less icy the other day, but both actresses were focused on SSH most of the time. The way Deidre and Suzanne were sitting though had them both facing SSH which was probably intentional lol. Must be awkward for SSH lol. At this point it clearly is what it is. I don't think it's going to change. It's too bad because those scenes and the dialogue were quite nice.

I am prepared for a paternity switch up as well. Isaiah is really so dull and basically Portia's b*tch.

I understand why people like Isaiah, but he does nothing for me as a character. I find him boring and it's not really his fault. Obviously the writers don't care enough to develop him. In theory I would say he and Jordan would make a good couple, but I feel like that would be a ticket straight off screen. At least Kerr can act and is a stronger scene partner for him.

True, but he really is doing the bare minimum lol. Seriously, though I don't get the point of giving Curtis or Portia another kid. They already share one. The show is always going to continue the endless loop of Curtis/Jordan/Portia (now with a side of Isaiah) so who needs a baby? 3/4 of these people have adult children.

I am always team rooting against anyone else to have another useless kid on GH.

I think we all know Valentin is useless lol. I don't know why shows don't have teen vixens anymore. It feels like a show will start off with someone edgy or vixen-y and then reverse course almost immediately. Women are either good or psychotic like Esme or Sophia on Days. Brenda was the villain in her triangle, but she was just doing mostly low stakes schemes. It seems to be all or nothing now with the newer generation of teens being brought on.

Oh, I am well aware of how connected Valentin needs to be lol. That's why I know it's an impossible dream. Hopefully they will age or recast Georgie. IIRC, the girl that plays her is the right age currently, but I can't even remember what she looks like because we see her so rarely. Anyhow, they do need someone fresh that isn't related to everyone ala teen Brenda.

I was using the term act very loosely lol. Weirdly AC looks so much hotter here. I always thought he looked dopey on the show and didn't think he was very attractive. It's clear Deidre loves Greg and working with him. I do think it's possible she pushes for scenes with him. At the same time, the show has consistently told us what great friends they are in both regimes. They are less campy now, but it appears to be a relationship everyone (but the audience lol) likes.

I give Days a little grace on this because I assume they didn't think Al Calderon would book another job. They've seen him act. So I think PP and Dmitri were a bit of a rush job to fill in the gap for the constant screentime Leo needs. And now GR and PP are trying to out camp one another due to boredom or something. I won't give Days grace on the amount of screen time Leo gets. I honestly wouldn't care if Leo was a very side player on the show. If he was a C character he'd probably not bother me at all. Days does have a problem with tone. It's either serious or complete idiocy.
