  1. Coming from a person that barely even likes Lulu, it's maddening. Two people used her eggs without her consent and presented her with children and when she tries to be a good mother and parent them she looks bad. Frank really hates the Spencers. Yes, Charlotte should absolutely be allowed to leave school, her family, her house, and her stability to go on the run with Papa. And, yes, Rocco should move into Britt's one room at Kelly's that Jason pays for because he's curious about his incubator.
  2. I never doubted you lol. Lulu has all these valid points about not wanting her kids to hang out with their awful "parents", but still looks unreasonable. I know it's to help prop Setton and Brook Lynn (plus KT/Britt), but it makes me dislike BLQ and Britt more.
  3. Ha! I thought of you when he showed up. It only took him 7 months to run out of money. He and Jacinda really need a class on budgeting blackmail gains. Yeah, I get your point. It's a shame both these stories are happening at the same time. It makes Lulu look like a weird helicopter mom that won't let her kids do anything even if she has valid reasons. The show has written Lulu poorly and tried to make her the heavy in almost every situation since her return so it's not surprising.
  4. Welp, I guess the inevitable Brad return happened.
  5. I always felt like Robin was the one woman who really intimidated Carly. She's smart, pretty, Sonny and Jason love her, the town adores her, she has tons of friends, etc. Carly always felt inferior to her. It's probably my favorite Carly rivalry. While I like Brenda/Carly as foes there really isn't that much history there besides sleeping with the same men. I don't think Carly respects Brenda and I think she secretly respects Robin. Both are obviously better than LW's Carly screeching at women that go near Sonny or Jason today lol. To your second point, I feel like Skye's inclusion in the Brenda return was another attempt at shoehorning the character in and gaining sympathy for poor Skye. Jax didn't need to marry her for conflict. Brenda faked her death weeks before Jax/Brenda's wedding, hid for 4 years, shacked up with Alcazar, thinks she's dying, Jax gets shot and paralyzed, Brenda marries Jason, Sonny's hanging around, Alcazar is still stalking her, and so on. That's a ton of conflict right there. Jax didn't need a wife in the mix especially when he dumps about 10 min after Brenda returned.
  6. Oh, believe me I know. There used to be a lot on this board. I am not sure why though. The coupling was okay, but Jax did Skye kind of dirty by immediately dumping her for Brenda. Why would you want them back together? Although the Jax/Brenda/Skye triangle and her descent back into alcoholism was probably the best material she got on GH.
  7. Perhaps I was giving the entire team too much credit. I assumed the show snapped up Ingo when Titans flopped, were hoping to get Vanessa and it fell through, and scrapped together some wacky plot for Jax last minute, hoping something would stick. I was always a bit surprised they didn't try to repair the coupling of Chloe/Jax. I can see the idea of tying him to the Cassadines in his return via Alexis, but that story was just odd. Jax left his entire life in PC to find Brenda and gave up after less than a year and somehow ran into Cassadine intrigue? I could go on and on about the Skye romance. They were barely together and then were getting married. It wasn't anywhere near Jax's worst pairing, but everyone in the audience knew the show was ramping up the obstacles for Brenda's return and nothing was organic about it. Honestly though I always laugh when I think about Ric and Marianna? What a silly story no one ever mentioned again. Did JFP really think THAT story was going to elevate RH to lead status?
  8. Robin being practically shunned out of town by Jason and Sonny was awful. While the initial lie about AJ made some sense for Carly the show should have worked harder to make a more even playing field after the truth came out. I would assume the idea was to get Ingo and Vanessa back at the time. Brenda was back a year or so later, so rebooting Jax was kind of a moot point in the end. Nothing Jax did in that year really changed the character or was memorable. I guess romancing Skye, but I believe that was only ramped up once the show knew they had secured Vanessa. When Carly went to the institution after shooting Tony I could understand her fear of losing Michael. It was valid. Jason saving her from that made sense. Once Carly/Sonny were together and married Carly was established. There wasn't a real need to keep AJ away from Michael all together. Once there were multiple acts of violence taking place in Sonny's world putting Michael in danger the reasons to keep AJ away from Michael became increasingly flimsy.
  9. Personally, I was never a fan of Sonny/Carly vs. AJ for Michael. In the beginning when Carly was pretending Jason was the father I could almost get behind some of the reasoning. ALMOST. Once Sonny got involved the show had to work far too hard to make me believe Sonny was the better option as a father. Carly/Sonny had tons of support on message boards in the early 2000's though. The most ardent Sonny fans wanted Sonny to have a child because there was a time long ago where Sonny didn't have any kids (that he knew of) and Carly had trouble getting pregnant again. The writing was always an issue for AJ, but I would argue the recasting to Billy Warlock was also a big shift for AJ as anything other than a loser bad guy. Sorry, that's my longer answer to your initial question lol. I remember Ingo being gone for like a year and came back when Titans flopped. They announced his return at the Emmys, there was a good amount of promotion, and then that was the re-intro. He originally left to find a not dead Brenda and failed but found Alexis's long-lost sister instead. Yay? Lol The show never really knew what to do with Jax outside of Brenda and later Carly's orbit. It's amazing Jax lasted as long as he did on the show.
  10. I would say no. Not at that point. Early on I think Sonny/Carly had some support from fans.
  11. Fair enough, but people used to actually like Sonny. I could see Britt as a Katherine like character that everyone just eye rolls when she speaks yet vaguely tolerate, but that's really not helpful or what I think the show is going for lol.
  12. Labine/Guza would have never let the Britt angle with Rocco get so far out. I do hope Rocco just walks dogs all the way to Sonny's house so Sonny and various characters can have serious life changing conversations while holding adorable dogs.
  13. They were good. Emma got to actually say what the entire audience has been saying about her and Rocco.
  14. Would you just leave it as is? I would at least revisit it personally because that was an anti climatic ending for the character. I wouldn't say Luke was alive all this time and now he's for real dead, but I would expand on his og death a bit more.
  15. Yes. I think Stephanie is a very solid B-character in general. That's an odd thing to say about Patch/Kayla's daughter, but I think it would work towards Klein's strengths. There's a place on Days for the way the character of Stephanie is being written right now. It's just not in a leading capacity.
  16. I do think Abigail Klein is at least serviceable and I don't hate Stephanie. The character just has 0 personality. She morphs interests and desires every time she switches boyfriends. And it's not as if any of her pairings have even been mildly popular. I agree about C/F obviously. It's better, but not special. The bar was so low the lack of offensive material made the show seem like it was moving in the right direction. The show really isn't moving anywhere lol. It's just existing day to day.
  17. That was a lovely statement. I am under no illusion that Tony and Genie were ever bff, but I does make me a little sad they hadn't spoken in years.
  18. RIP, Tony! You will be missed! I know he wasn't exactly a young man and there were rumors his health wasn't great, but I am always shocked when a tv legend dies. They always seemed so larger than life on tv and you think they will live forever. Especially an icon like Tony.
  19. Lots of good ideas on here about how to refocus the show in the last few days! I know most people on this thread have problems with Leo, Alex, Cat, Rafe, Susan etc. They are problems lol, but I think Stephanie is almost a larger problem. Days centers so much of the show around her and her romances, but she's not a good leading character. She has no depth. She's a very nice girl with poor taste in men and a writing hobby. ZZzzzz..... Abigail Klein is very pretty and seems likeable enough, but she certainly isn't dynamic or interesting. Characters like Jada, Chanel, Gabi and even Belle are much more layered, and they get less than half the material Stephanie does.
  20. Ha! I was thinking the same thing about the tree. Like it fell down? That's an annoying mess, but the tree isn't ruined. Just readjust it? Johnny and Chanel are living in Paulina and Abe's old "penthouse". Paulina gifted it to them.
  21. I feel like Days was always going to run into this problem regardless of writing. Days has done a horrible job establishing the next generation of leads. It has relied on Marlena, John, Bo, Hope, Kayla, Steve, etc., etc. for far too long. We end up at this point where most of the characters that get significant airtime are boring. It seems to me the writing team is just too afraid to entirely revamp the show and are doing the bare minimum and coasting along with mediocre material. Because at least it's not as bad and offensive as Ron, right? Let's not rock the boat too much.
  22. Yes. It's the coldness that bothers me I think. He hasn't really got a chance to explain why he was mostly lighthearted before this return. I think we can assume that as an audience, but it would be nice if Theo was allowed to say it himself. Abe is the only character that has mentioned the breakup with Claire was hard on Theo. I think the only person Theo's been able to speak on himself is JJ.
  23. I think Tyler Joseph Andrews is a good recast for Theo, but I also think there is something off putting about his portrayal. I'll preface this by saying I don't know enough about Autism in general or even what type of Autism that Theo has. That being said it appears like TJA really leans in to portraying Theo's Autistic traits and it sometimes comes off cold and studied-almost like he's trying to win an Emmy for playing someone autistic instead of naturally infusing that as part of the character. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Anyhow, I do think he's a better actor than any previous Theo's-I just don't find him as likeable. I thought EM looked fine shirtless. He's thicker than he used to be, but he's still in very good shape.
  24. I mean, Chanel, Allie and Alex had a threesome on Days, but it wasn't that sexy lol
