  1. Yes. Sonny was really into Kate/Connie and she was mid-breakdown at that point. In my mind the timing wasn't right to leave town with Brenda, but if watching what happened on screen it does seem like he chose Konnie. He did make out with Brenda before she left so Sonny was still keeping options open lol.
  2. I am not sure if it ever was. This sounds strange but in the 90's I remember they showed flashbacks of young Kristen/Peter as kids and he was bigger in them and that's what I recall lol.
  3. Honestly if you waited all that time to do Olivia/Sonny make it more important and the show was more like, why not? I won't even speak on Connie vs. Brenda
  4. I am pretty sure Olivia broke up with Sonny when she found out he had sex with Ava. Which is in the middle of the era you are talking about Brenda came back asking Sonny to move with her and be together and talked about her letter that Sonny burned. Honestly a Sonny/Brenda spawn from that letter could always be incoming. But..he said he love Connie/Kate and told Brenda now isn't the time for them. Left it very open, but Sonny totally chose Konnie over Brenda lol. Wild.
  5. Do you know before I got on this board I assumed the affair did happen on screen and I missed episodes or something lol? I couldn't imagine GH making that up years later lol. I was so naive back then.
  6. Peter being older than Kristen sounds right to me. The internet says Peter is younger than Kristen, but that may be because Jason Brooks was younger than ED. I always thought Peter was the older of the two though.
  7. Like @Vee mentioned, I don't think Olivia has had a vision in at least a decade, but she had them around the time she was dating Sonny. They were violent visions like Sonny bleeding, Lulu getting stabbed by Maxie, Duke being Faison, visions of the water crisis etc. There were a lot of them lol and they were mostly correct. Like Maxie metaphorically stabbed Lulu in the back by lying about being her surrogate. By the time the breast feeding story happened, I don't think she was having visions anymore as Olivia/LLC was gone for a while since LLC was pregnant IRL. Once she returned, I think that whole aspect of her personality was phased out. If you ever go back and watch the 50th anniversary episodes they refer to Olivia as the local psychic on the Nurse's Ball red carpet. If you ever want to know details on silly, forgettable stories, I am your girl. Happy Holidays, everyone!!!!
  8. Perhaps. IIRC, Michael Logan broke the exit story and had an interview with her and Vanessa was complimentary of everyone. I got the vibe that it was Jill who wasn't onboard with what Vanessa wanted, but that doesn't mean Frons didn't have the final say. For all I know VM's demands could have been out of reach for the show at the time and Frons or JIll thought they could keep the momentum of the show going without her.
  9. I absolutely remember this happening. I think Nina even asked Olivia to pose topless for Crimson breastfeeding. It was around the same time she was having psychic visions (Olivia)
  10. I don't think Vanessa specified. She wanted more time off for her baby son plus more pay and GH wouldn't give it to her. I always assumed it was more JFP than Frons, but I could be wrong. I do remember a mag (magazines) saying Vanessa wanted a Tony Geary type contract with the same outs and same money. I always assumed she had known outside interest for work and shot for the stars in her new contract and was denied.
  11. I think there's room for both if I didn't find Sidwell's entire existence unnecessary. Sidwell's out there performing his own comedy routine half the time and sometimes it's mildly entertaining. I don't consider him a sustainable villain like Drew. I was thinking more of someone like EJ on Days for Drew. You know he's up to no good, but he's always shocked people think that and keeps his plans closer to the vest. He's able to charm and convince people he changed while Drew doesn't care.
  12. Well, CM isn't Jane lol. As an audience we also have years of history with Tracy and know she has layers even if the writing isn't there. I like Drew being a shameless villain privately. He's gone a little too far. He can at least try to act like a normal human in public lol.
  13. I thought yesterday was finally exciting over in trial land. And while I do feel bad for Portia, I am not sure what she was expecting. Once she was subpoenaed this was bound to happen. My issue with Drew is that he is practically a cartoon villain. There's no subtlety to him at all. I don't want him to go back to being a hero, but he doesn't even try to be likeable in public or even in front of Willow. The shooting shouldn't have changed his personality. It should have made him wiser though and made him keep his villainy less obvious.
  14. I have no definitive answer, but the rumor I always heard that Laura was going to remember Rick molested her. The writing seemed to lean heavily that way at first. Now that you mention it, I do recall Bobbie possibly being involved. I can't recall in what capacity. For some reason I thought she may have known all those years? I only watched it once so it's been a long time lol. I suppose what they ended up with was a tiny bit better. I do wonder what the fallout would have been if Genie had stayed and the show went with that angle. The show quickly shifts to Brenda's return and all Brenda all the time so it's hard to imagine a heavy story like that having room on the canvas.
  15. Honestly, if the show is willing to keep Rachel Boyd as Sophia around, I don't see a reason to ditch the actor/the character of Doug III. He wasn't amazing, but I would have given him more of a chance at least to play out the Holly story.
  16. @titan1978 I have thought for a while now that Jason/Liz would be a more organic pairing. Honestly, the more mature Sam would have been better than Britt, although I had little desire to go down either road when Jason returned. I think Britt is barely above Sasha in the potential love interest race. KT and SBu have chemistry. Their brief pairing back in the day was good. I am not sure it had any long term viability though. At this moment Jason has grown and Britt has regressed. The bickering and fake hate routine gets old with them quickly. As far as Gio/Emma/Trina, I really don't see how Trina would have come out of that unscathed. Gio and Emma would have been the endgame and Trina would have resorted to scheming or lying to try to keep him. Besides I think GM/BB have better chemistry than GM/TA.
  17. Yeah, I am not sure what the show has tried to do to course correct Britt. She's as obnoxious as she was the first day she returned. Maybe she talks about Rocco a little less? A little more vulnerable? But then she acts like a spoiled teenager a day later, so it's pretty much a draw.
  18. Jason was at Alexis's celebrating the holidays with Danny and the Davis girls. Britt didn't know that. She called Nina first and Nina was talking to Ava and ignored her.
  19. I was so annoyed on Jason's behalf today when he was trying to spend time with his son and family and had to go bail out those two boneheads. It's juvenile behavior and if Britt/Brad owned how embarrassing it was as grown adults to get caught doing that it would be on thing. They both were still making it a wacky joke. It wasn't a silly understanding Brad and Britt's part. Their solution was to dine and ditch instead of being mature humans, but we should want Lucas and Jason to take that on?
  20. I agree the Britt and Brad stuff was horrendous. If they truly brought Britt back to pair her with Jason this is not working. I am actively rooting for Jason to drop her. Jason is making some actual personal strides with familial relationships and has improved as a character. Pairing him with Britt is below him-and, yes, I realize I am talking about a hitman here lol. I don't really know where they are going with Portia/Isiah/Curtis/Jordan here. Everything seems so rushed and blatantly disrespectful considering Portia/Curtis are still legally married. I enjoyed the episode overall. Gio/Emma were cute and I really liked Danny today talking to Molly.
  21. I personally wasn't impressed with DG as Peter, but, hey, it's only been one day. The vibe felt off to me. There was something hotly sinister about Peter even when he was "good". I know DG can pull off a darker edge, but it all felt too suburban dad next door yesterday.
  22. I wouldn't mind seeing Britt's reaction to finding out about Spencer's death either. I certainly think they were friendly/close enough to warrant a mention. I also don't think the show is necessarily ignoring their previous connection or it's some sort of glaring omission. Britt hasn't asked about Spencer nor has she shared scenes with people that were close with Spencer. Idk, Spencer and NAC have been gone for a while now. It's not like Spencer's death is the main topic of conversation amongst the town. As far as Spencer/Hayden, I legitimately don't remember a single thing about their interactions, so I hold Britt/Spencer in a higher regard than them lol. I tend to agree with @Vee though. Most of the Spencer/Britt bonding took place with Betchel's obnoxious kid Spencer. If we are discussing Britt's flop of a return, the lack of talk about Spencer is very low on my list of mistakes the show has made here.
  23. Correct. Let's have two 40 year people dine and ditch and laugh about it. How endearing. They are so loveable.
  24. Lol. It did, but I think the show said Maxie was doing her nails and upkeep all that time.
  25. Lulu was a given due to everything, but it doesn't look like they give Alexa anything more than a hair tie-not even a brush. Joss isn't direct competition with anyone. She's her own bright shining star, obviously. The chunky sweater, ugly jeans and big shoes was not a win for her. I also like her hair better blonde.
