I don't even think Van Etten or whoever care much about Brad. He's never had anything more than a superficial personality. Sure, they tried with the Wiley story, but Perry Chen is limited. Van's hiring has brought more focus back to Lucas in a way that works-all without Brad. I don't believe there is any interest in telling a compelling gay love triangle or even telling a proper gay romance. Although the show lacks romance in general so I don't think it's only about sexual orientation. Brad will come back, Marco will become the bad guy, and Lucas/Brad will be hastily put back together. Meanwhile 75% of Brad's scenes will be with Britt being snarky and talking about Drag Race or something because Britt's so progressive and the show's resident gay icon. 🙄

I am not sure the show necessarily has much use for Brad alone or even Lucas/Brad. I think the show loves the Britt/Brad friendship. IIRC, Brad left long before KT was re-hired. At this point it seems Marco has become the sacrificial lamb to help prop up Britt's awful return. Britt needs her gay bff back so Lucas/Brad need to also reunite.

That's what I remember. It was just an odd tack on ending to a completed story. Kim was long gone. But I guess we have that SORASed kid to look forward to in 5 years.

I never understood the fan support for Julian or Julian/Alexis. It was an awful pairing and the character was not well thought out or developed, IMO. Not like Alexis has ever really had good pairings or anything though. I wish Guza didn't bleed the character of Jerry out until he ran dry. SR/Jerry was a villain you could bring back sparingly. I'd put both Julian and Jerry slightly ahead of Valentin, but if I never saw any of the three again I would be fine. Wasn't TB's character pregnant by Julian when she left? I am totally blanking on the character's name, but Oscar's mom.

I have a real disconnect. Is the show trolling us slightly? Are people that scared? He wore a blanket for about three scenes around his shoulder and gave Charlotte a key ring with a special colored ribbon? IDEK what I am supposed to think about Valentin. Master manipulator and villain or cuddly, little, misunderstood spy?

They definitely dress Havins down and she is much more casual, but I think she still looks current and cute most of the time. She's never as polished looking as Setton even in her nun clothing. I do think it does fit the Lulu/Spencer aspect of her character. Lulu is never going to wear satin button ups and skirts to breakfast like BLQ. I do think characters like Liz or Willow reach the happy medium a bit better in wardrobe though. Valentin making threats wrapped in a comfy blanket shawl today......I can't guys lol.

I feel like there's a medium somewhere here. Either put her in a robe with the illusion she's wearing a sexy night gown underneath or put the pj's on an, Idk, unbutton a few buttons. You don't have to be semi naked to appear sexy-just don't act so cold. I know women don't put on sexy silk nightgowns every night, but there should at least be some pretense of fantasy for a couple on a soap.

I can't believe there aren't more people talking about Valentin PARCHUTING out of a plane to escape from prison. I can't take anything about that seriously. And the sheer panic of the entire town acting like he's some mastermind criminal while he's all beat up whining to Carly. Chase is boring. Brook Lynn is boring. They are boring together lol. Seriously, I get AS's modesty issues. We've discussed it a lot, but does she need full length pjs and a robe? She'd still be modest in the pajamas alone and it would look less awkward. What happened to them adopting a baby, anyhow?

Yeah, I don't think it was crazy for Heather to have a younger child. I think it's jarring as a viewer because one of Heather's kids is played by Scott Reeves and the other is a fresh faced young girl lol. As for Portia, I don't think she's supposed to be the same age as Brook Kerr. The show has mentioned her age regarding her pregnancy, but I think she's in her mid 40's at most. I don't bother much with the Taggert/Portia/Trina backstory and ages because it doesn't really align timewise with when Taggert was actually appearing on the show.

Neither Julie nor Krista bothered me. I think Krista was miscast, but she did what she could especially considering she was made to be the villain. I can see how Julie can be grating though. There is something slightly unlikeable about her and I can't put my finger on it either.

Yes on the Patch and Kayla stuff. They got together when Steve couldn't remember who he was. To me, the most memorable part of Pinson's run was sleeping with Nick Fallon and taking his virginity while he was in love with her daughter lol. I personally thought Pinson was very good as Billie given the writing. Lisa's Billie feels like a very moment in time character and you could never recapture the magic. I mean even Lisa couldn't recapture the magic in her returns. With Krista and with Julie's versions Billie became more pathetic and obsessed with Bo. The show never really tried to give Billie much more purpose than being the heavy for Bo/Hope.

As if people would stop going to the Pub if they disliked trivia night. It's one of five sets they have.🤣 Roman has basically a captive audience.

Oh, I actually think Valentin/Carly will be a thing too. I just had a huge jump scare over Cyrus and Esme and am so worried they both will be for real back. I get such Nelle feelings from Esme, so even if Pohl is talented, I think she will keep coming back and back until any goodwill on my end has run out. .

Oh, I don't think Frank or the writers have it out for Lucy or Lynn. They just don't get the character. Maxie at least seemed to put in work. Everyone else? No. If BLQ wines about Deception one more time....Idk, Brook, maybe don't work there if it's such a hassle for you to take 5 minutes out of your day to read emails or whatever you do lol.

The show makes Lucy look stupid. There is no nuance in the writing. Sure, she was flighty and silly, but she was always smart and cunning. Now Lucy is written with her head in the clouds and out of touch without much humanity and just a joke. Although I will say the Tracy/Lucy scenes after Monica's death was a step in the right direction.

Being a huge DZ/Dante fan, I cannot remember a time I found the character so unpleasant. Even during those weird PTSD years.

I would have put Kevin/Lucy back together years ago, but I guess Laura needs her absent husband. What's stranger to me is that Kevin/Lucy don't ever interact and it's like that entire time period was erased. I know the show rarely uses JL or LH and is limited in that sense. I seriously can't even recall the last time they shared a scene lol. I don't know what Christina's middle name is, but that would be any easy name to substitute. I always thought Spixie was close in popularity to Dante/Lulu. Not Patrick/Robin level, which would be the last true attempt at a GH supercouple in my mind, but viewers were heavily invested in the pairing. I still assume both Dante/Lulu and Spinelli/Maxie will be together in the end. Although at this point I am not sure if Dante even likes Lulu let alone loves her.

I know. JT's Roman as a game show host is a choice. Mumbles aside, the setup is incredibly awkward. I feel like the show is taking multiple scenes to explain a very simple concept.

I think I do remember Lucy talking about two daughters years ago when everyone thought she was crazing talking about vampires. Anyhow, it's strange to me how far Lucy and Kevin moved apart into different orbits. I almost forget they were a root for couple on their own show. Considering I don't think Christina was ever mentioned by name the show could easily change it. A total blank slate character. I don't remember disliking the Maxie/Nathan pairing. I really didn't care one way or the other. I swear I thought they were pretty popular. Not Spixie heyday popular but had a following that wasn't just on twitter lol.

The idea of trivia night is fine and fun, but I agree with @AbcNbc247 . The show is acting like trivia night is this amazing cutting-edge game Roman just invented lol. The way it was introduced was so clunky with Roman and his microphone and asking everyone if they liked trivia night. Like, Roman, chill. Most bars have trivia night-you don't need the town's permission to hold your own event at your own restaurant.

Lol. The Maxie/Michael pairing. I could still see it with Rory, but he's much more intense than Chad and there is no way Maxie (if she comes back) is getting away from Nathan. I have a hard time seeing Rory's Michael with Willow again as well. Definitely need to hire someone new. I know I have probably asked this question, but has Christina ever been mentioned on GH? I assume she exists outside of the PC universe although I can't recall anyone talking about her. Probably when Lucy first reappeared.

I have almost no use for Leo or Marlena/Leo's friendship, but yesterday's scenes were sweet. You can tell how much GR/DH like working together.
