  1. Fair enough. Wiley is so annoying I would just give that kid to Willow. The little one doesn't talk so she's fine.
  2. Ha! Jacinda would find that adorable and it would prove what a great father Michael is lol. He's marginally better than Willow, but does Michael actually watch his kids?
  3. That's too logical. I imagine Michael brokering deals with Wiley's annoying voice saying it's Wiley, pick up Daddy all the time.😂 I hope Michael has a sexy time ringtone for Jacinda as well.
  4. Howard is okay. Serviceable is the right word. I find Howard to be too chill and laidback about everything. He doesn't do anger well at all. Carson Boatman is a himbo, but I find him sincere, if not the best actor. He's likeable even if he's dumb lol. Sami/EJ's child should have more bite, but I never had any huge issue with him. I hope a soap snaps Raven Bowens up. She's often a real bright spot on the show and always looks fabulous. Puzemis is also quite good and I hope she finds work as well. I feel like a lot of backstage things got in the way for her/Holly in the end. Again, there are at least 5-8 characters I would let go before any of these four.
  5. I have no idea. Could you imagine Michael in a business meeting and that ringtone goes off? Because you know Wiley is that kid that calls 100 times a day. I do understand about Cody/Molly. I have a hard time believing 30/40 year olds would be that pressed about labeling their dating, but Cody previously dated his cousin and Molly has only dated TJ in her life so 🤷‍♀️
  6. I am just catching up on GH after a vacation. I am glad the show made Willow the true shooter. I really was thinking it was going to be Scout and I couldn't handle that lol. This story continues to be a huge win for GH. I am ashamed to admit I find Cody/Molly cute. I know they are juvenile and don't have a ton of chemistry, but it's nice to see Cody happy and JK plays a nice romantic lead. I wish I could be part of Tracy's cocktail hour. Although Ned exposing Drew left him to die should have come out earlier. Continuing to hate Val/Carly. I can't with that... Also, could you imagine having Wiley's voice as your ringtone? Poor Michael...
  7. I was on vacation and just caught up on GH. I'll be back in that thread shortly lol. I was never exactly sold on Leo Howard as Tate and much preferred the first actor Jamie Martin Mann. Holly annoys me as a character 80% of the time, but I think AP is a real find. Days has a continuing issue finding the next generation and these two characters have led the young adult set for a long time. I don't see any reason to ditch them even if Holly's parents aren't in the picture. She has a solid relationship with Maggie and Sarah. As far as Johnny/Chanel, Boatman is whatever, but Raven/Chanel is fantastic. To me she's the biggest loss here. I also think it is silly to get rid of EJ's only child/closest tie on the canvas. I suppose TPTB at Days figured both of these couples could ride off with a happy ending and it was an easy solution. The show could have given Leo/Javi a happy ending instead and ditched Gwen and Cat and saved even more money. Unless Peacock is really considering cutting Days after this renewal it seems ill advised to cut fresh, younger characters.
  8. Wow! Not any of the characters I would dump. I can actually see recasting a few of them, but Raven Bowens is probably the actress/character I will miss the most.
  9. You know, AC is lucky to be acting on the same show as Rachel Boyd.😂
  10. I thought Javi was having some sort of panic attack yesterday. I actually think that is what he was going for in the last scene. Lol. Maybe?
  11. It's funny because I find Katherine more memorable than Cheryl. Obviously, Cheryl is much more important in the long run. Idk, she's just blends in to me when I watch if that makes sense? Although watching old episodes, knowing how things will turn out, probably affects my viewing. I can't bring myself to care about Cheryl, but she could have been better day to day at the time. Obviously 80's styling did no one any favors, but Cheryl always seems old and plain to me lol.
  12. @dc11786 Thanks so much for your detailed response. I always felt that Colton was basically replaced by Mac as well, but I didn't really recall all that nonsense he went through before he left lol. Both Days and GH in 1992 were chaotic. I understand why Days jumped at the chance to get Lynn. I am surprised they never used her with Wayne to give Marlena/Roman some increased angst with a slight flirtation on Roman's part with someone else. Marlena/Roman had almost nothing to do in 1992 until Marlena gets thrown in a pit and the John/Marlena affair gears up. It would have added another layer to everything if Roman was tempted by someone else. But, alas, that's for the Days thread. Anyhow, Katherine is another character I am intrigued by because her and Robert appear to have a following and she is dumped. Of course, it's probably Monty's vision, but I do think it may have been a poor decision as well. Although it is hard for me to see a character like that last through Labine or Guza's 90's.
  13. I don't think Colton set the world on fire or anything, but there were places to go with him. Decker was more of a dead end to me especially with the revolving door of Dawns. I think Lynn had her first child and then left. Exploring other opportunities was the reason. I believe she went to Days because she wanted to work with Wayne, but Lisanne was a dud and she hated the whole experience. I think she even asked to leave-it was rumored there were issues with her and Sabatino or Chappell or both lol. Besides she may have had a handful of scenes with Wayne anyhow. Lisanne was on the entire other side of the canvas and was never very fleshed out or relevant until she was murdered (by young Nicky Alamain).
  14. It's interesting Lucy had a whole extended family that got a lot of airtime back in the day, but none made it into the 90's really. Decker was pretty much a dud, but I thought Colton was popular. Or am I wrong about that?
  15. It was Courtney's dream IIRC ☹️
  16. I think Jax has a wacky dream as well where Sonny/Brenda make out and both Miranda and Brenda threaten to shoot him? And they are both wearing wedding dresses. This is only a bit of the episode.
  17. Thanks for that!
  18. I agree. And to be honest most of her best material has little to do with Brenda (outside her nice 1997 return). I'd focus more on the business side of things and her romantic life. She can hold a grudge against Sonny because of Brenda and tangle with Carly for the same reason, but she never interacted with either on screen. There are probably too many women in that age range at this point though.
  19. I like Damian more as an adult as well, but most of his schemes outside of ELQ, were plots to destroy his ex-girlfriends lol. And trying to torch the Ward house with Laura and kids inside! to build a shopping mall (or whatever it was) was a crazy level of villainy you can't come back from.
  20. If you are going the Smith route for a Luke exit, Damian wouldn't be as impactful. While I liked Damian and his shameless evil, he's kind of a blip on the radar for Luke. It wasn't a terribly memorable rivalry for me. I remember his shenanigans with Lucy and Katherine and his affair with Bobbie more than any else from his character.
  21. Oh, yeah, Josh Kelly would have been a good Sly. I also don't recall Sly being around by the time Elizabeth and Sarah appeared. I don't remember an exit either. For some reason I had it in my head that Paul/Jenny took him in. I agree that Julia isn't really necessary without Brenda. I just like her more than some of the current players in that age range lol. I think her history works better with the business stories they play. She would never been onboard with Deception being sold on the bootleg home shopping network and laugh at Carly/Olivia running a hotel, for example.
  22. I have talked forever how I wanted Sly back. I am always curious why he wasn't brought back once during the Emily/Nik/Lucky/Liz era. I think I would have paired him with Emily back then though. The Eckerts were long gone, but perhaps the memory of the failure of the family was still fresh enough that Riche/Guza didn't have much interest. I do wonder if a Sly/Jenny/Julia reappearance would have worked in 2014-2015. It would have been interesting to see what happened to them while they were off screen. Well, as interesting as Jenny could be lol. They made her ex-husband a whole serial killer so she probably would have been useful in that dreadful story. I don't recall if the show ever said much about Paul/Jenny's child together. Wasn't it a boy? And I was also under the assumption Paul/Jenny raised Sly after Bill's death as well. A Julia return has always been on my list. There were/are a lot of places a high-powered businesswomen that was always unlucky in love could have fit long term. Julia swooping in and taking over the Metrocourt would have been fun. I think Julia still had enough tethers to the canvas at the time even without Brenda, and Brenda was around recently enough where could have used her as a reference point to build new relationships. Of course, I am not sure CC would have even interested. The show could have recast though.
  23. Perhaps, but maybe it would have knocked Geary a peg down or two and he would have been more grateful for Luke and GH.
  24. I am not sure it ever would have matter how stable GH was. If Tony wanted to play a different character like Bill I assume other soaps would have snapped him up. This was always destined to fail on GH where he played Luke! The writing nor the characterization were good, and I do agree the editing in the final scene was kind of crappy lol. I don't think I get the deep seeded resentment due to the fact he was immediately welcome back with open arms as Luke. Perhaps it hurt his ego, but it's not like too many people remember the flop anyway.
  25. I feel like there were better episodes to use than TG's last one, but I obviously understand why they chose it. The other storylines were very random and not easy to follow in the episode in general. It was basically Luke's last episode and a bunch of other scenes that were picking up mid-way through (bad) plots. It was nice to see a repeat episode than wasn't from 6 months ago though. I can't remember Tony's exact quote about the Frank Smith resurrection, but it was humorous. Something to the effect that Frank was an old man in the 80's so would have been well over 100 by 2015 lol.
