GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Yeah, I am not sure what the show has tried to do to course correct Britt. She's as obnoxious as she was the first day she returned. Maybe she talks about Rocco a little less? A little more vulnerable? But then she acts like a spoiled teenager a day later, so it's pretty much a draw.

Jason was at Alexis's celebrating the holidays with Danny and the Davis girls. Britt didn't know that. She called Nina first and Nina was talking to Ava and ignored her.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
I was so annoyed on Jason's behalf today when he was trying to spend time with his son and family and had to go bail out those two boneheads. It's juvenile behavior and if Britt/Brad owned how embarrassing it was as grown adults to get caught doing that it would be on thing. They both were still making it a wacky joke. It wasn't a silly understanding Brad and Britt's part. Their solution was to dine and ditch instead of being mature humans, but we should want Lucas and Jason to take that on?

I agree the Britt and Brad stuff was horrendous. If they truly brought Britt back to pair her with Jason this is not working. I am actively rooting for Jason to drop her. Jason is making some actual personal strides with familial relationships and has improved as a character. Pairing him with Britt is below him-and, yes, I realize I am talking about a hitman here lol. I don't really know where they are going with Portia/Isiah/Curtis/Jordan here. Everything seems so rushed and blatantly disrespectful considering Portia/Curtis are still legally married. I enjoyed the episode overall. Gio/Emma were cute and I really liked Danny today talking to Molly.

I personally wasn't impressed with DG as Peter, but, hey, it's only been one day. The vibe felt off to me. There was something hotly sinister about Peter even when he was "good". I know DG can pull off a darker edge, but it all felt too suburban dad next door yesterday.

I wouldn't mind seeing Britt's reaction to finding out about Spencer's death either. I certainly think they were friendly/close enough to warrant a mention. I also don't think the show is necessarily ignoring their previous connection or it's some sort of glaring omission. Britt hasn't asked about Spencer nor has she shared scenes with people that were close with Spencer. Idk, Spencer and NAC have been gone for a while now. It's not like Spencer's death is the main topic of conversation amongst the town. As far as Spencer/Hayden, I legitimately don't remember a single thing about their interactions, so I hold Britt/Spencer in a higher regard than them lol. I tend to agree with @Vee though. Most of the Spencer/Britt bonding took place with Betchel's obnoxious kid Spencer. If we are discussing Britt's flop of a return, the lack of talk about Spencer is very low on my list of mistakes the show has made here.

Correct. Let's have two 40 year people dine and ditch and laugh about it. How endearing. They are so loveable.

Lol. It did, but I think the show said Maxie was doing her nails and upkeep all that time.

Lulu was a given due to everything, but it doesn't look like they give Alexa anything more than a hair tie-not even a brush. Joss isn't direct competition with anyone. She's her own bright shining star, obviously. The chunky sweater, ugly jeans and big shoes was not a win for her. I also like her hair better blonde.

Yay! More wacky Britt/Brad. I have never liked Chase more than when he arrested them today. Why is Joss dressed like a grandma? She's not Brook Lynn. Lulu is also dressed like a grandma and can someone do her hair, please? I think the trial should have been more enjoyable than it was. Idk? I did laugh when Kristina talked about Dawn of the Day training her in arms weapons though.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
I don't see any reason to bring up Charlotte/Nathan's previous history with Claudette because it was never mentioned after the story ended and it's confusing. It over complicates Charlotte's already silly background. As far as Britt/Spencer, I am not sure why that relationship would be mentioned. They were close for a moment when he was a child. Spencer is dead, Nik is gone, so unless Britt is talking to Trina or Laura for some reason there isn't a way to insert it into conversation. Jason and Brad don't care about Spencer and that's the only people Britt interacts with.

Oh, but I am sure tomorrow we will get Jason paying for their dinner and Britt being a Britch to him claiming she didn't need his help. Even though he basically pays for all her essential needs. But Britt's a strong, independent woman!!

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Well, at least we got our first taste of wacky hijinks from Brad/Britt. ☹️ Let's order an expensive dinner without asking who's paying ha ha ha! I hope Jason can stop being up Joss's butt in time to pay so they don't have to hilariously wash dishes together or something.

Fair enough. Marc Samuel and Carnes didn't have much chemistry, but I don't think Shen/Carnes had enough to change the course. Neither pairing was great.

It's odd Brad was the character they kept over Felix. I would have dumped them both, but Felix at least was a good guy. I guess Britt propping gets you a lot farther than Sabrina propping lol.

Yeah, it normally doesn't bother me exactly. Steve just doesn't feel like a "Papa" to me lol. The ending was odd too. Didn't Jeremy openly admit he was ambidextrous to Steve episodes ago? That wasn't a secret lol.

DAYS: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Have all the adult Stephanies called Steve "Papa"? I think Shelley Henig's version did, but I can't recall. I don't generally find it as annoying as Charlotte on GH calling Valentin "Papa", but it seems like a dated and odd choice for the character of Stephanie especially since she didn't find out he was alive until she was an adult.

I have no insider info, but I think it was alleged the network wanted to beef up the Spencer presence. It wasn't Frank's idea. So he brought JJ and brought in Havins and followed the order, but wasn't happy about it.

I think it was an ABC mandate.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Coming from a person that barely even likes Lulu, it's maddening. Two people used her eggs without her consent and presented her with children and when she tries to be a good mother and parent them she looks bad. Frank really hates the Spencers. Yes, Charlotte should absolutely be allowed to leave school, her family, her house, and her stability to go on the run with Papa. And, yes, Rocco should move into Britt's one room at Kelly's that Jason pays for because he's curious about his incubator.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
I never doubted you lol. Lulu has all these valid points about not wanting her kids to hang out with their awful "parents", but still looks unreasonable. I know it's to help prop Setton and Brook Lynn (plus KT/Britt), but it makes me dislike BLQ and Britt more.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Ha! I thought of you when he showed up. It only took him 7 months to run out of money. He and Jacinda really need a class on budgeting blackmail gains. Yeah, I get your point. It's a shame both these stories are happening at the same time. It makes Lulu look like a weird helicopter mom that won't let her kids do anything even if she has valid reasons. The show has written Lulu poorly and tried to make her the heavy in almost every situation since her return so it's not surprising.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
I always felt like Robin was the one woman who really intimidated Carly. She's smart, pretty, Sonny and Jason love her, the town adores her, she has tons of friends, etc. Carly always felt inferior to her. It's probably my favorite Carly rivalry. While I like Brenda/Carly as foes there really isn't that much history there besides sleeping with the same men. I don't think Carly respects Brenda and I think she secretly respects Robin. Both are obviously better than LW's Carly screeching at women that go near Sonny or Jason today lol. To your second point, I feel like Skye's inclusion in the Brenda return was another attempt at shoehorning the character in and gaining sympathy for poor Skye. Jax didn't need to marry her for conflict. Brenda faked her death weeks before Jax/Brenda's wedding, hid for 4 years, shacked up with Alcazar, thinks she's dying, Jax gets shot and paralyzed, Brenda marries Jason, Sonny's hanging around, Alcazar is still stalking her, and so on. That's a ton of conflict right there. Jax didn't need a wife in the mix especially when he dumps about 10 min after Brenda returned.

GH: December 2025 Discussion Thread
Oh, believe me I know. There used to be a lot on this board. I am not sure why though. The coupling was okay, but Jax did Skye kind of dirty by immediately dumping her for Brenda. Why would you want them back together? Although the Jax/Brenda/Skye triangle and her descent back into alcoholism was probably the best material she got on GH.
