  1. Yeah, I don't even know. Like I edited in the above post I got 3 different explanations of the whole fiasco.
  2. Possibly? I think it was for the Dimera's, but for some reason I thought it was stolen or knock off designer goods after watching some scenes back. I have no proof though lol. I just briefly googled the whole thing and Chelsea's bio said that Touch the sky Airlines was a front for designer knock offs for the Dimeras. Jett Carver's bio says illegal smuggling. And a character named Kai Rawlings was allegedly smuggling women through the airline, but these women were actually working for him and con artists. And then made Stephanie and Max jump out of the plane So I don't know if that helps at all. I think I am more confused.
  3. Not even that. They appear so infrequently I almost forget they are a couple. Their scenes are usually so brief and shallow. At least it seems like the Dalton story is picking back up now that Britt is involved😑
  4. The internet says June-Oct 2007, so 4-5 months appears to be correct. It seemed so much longer. I am trying to remember what the airline was a front for. I said drugs earlier, but I think it was much sillier like knock off handbags lol. I am sure someone here knows.
  5. I watched and the OLTL mention and scenes were very brief. Not too bad. If I hadn't been clobbered over the head with OLTL shout outs since Frank took over, I may have even thought it was cute. I still think the Gio/Emma scenes could have been extended instead though. Overall, the episode was good especially considering the warnings I got. Hopefully the Ronnie story will be wrapping up shortly. For some reason I thought it would go on longer, but I guess it really was a short run for ES.
  6. I don't know why anyone would think a story about flying to Vegas as a cover for a drug ring? was a good idea for the younger set lol.
  7. It was only four months? It seemed longer lol. It wasn't a single bad act Jeremy committed with that hot tub scene. He was genuinely awful to Stephanie and everyone else.
  8. Lol! Well, I only have youtube tv and can't watch any Disney channels as of today, so I guess I have to catch it on hulu if I feel like it. I guess I was unintentionally saved.
  9. Great. I was already annoyed with the OLTL reference so I am prepared.
  10. It was strange because they didn't appear to know one another. Obviously, they do, but the show didn't even acknowledge it in any capacity. Not even a good to see you again. Carrie was engaged to his father lol.
  11. I haven't really seen Susan even try to mend fences between them nor is she involved with Johnny/Chanel's adoption, so is she there for Marlena's story? I didn't even understand her last scenes with Stephanie. She was happy about someone being murdered like in Stephanie's book? It didn't seem like a warning. It appeared like she was excited? So odd... Kristen has been spent for years. She is a character who can pop in and out for arcs, but she has no long-term purpose. At this point Marlena's fairly hands on with Rachel so Kristen isn't necessary.
  12. Oh, I don't think Brady told her. Rachel just seems like the type of child that lurks around and eavesdrops on conversations.
  13. I assumed it was her little brother too. I can't believe Rachel has yet to tell Cooper Choi how evil and psychotic his sister is. You'd think she'd care more about what happened to Tate rather than petty drama with Chad/Cat.
  14. I haven't watched today's episode yet, so maybe it was a cleared up but has Susan ever mentioned why she's still in town? Doesn't she have a life and a husband wherever she lives? She came for Johnny's trial and that's been over for weeks. I always think Susan is unnecessary, but there is truly not a single reason for her to be around.
  15. Totally fair. I just find Portia very unlikeable at times, but I know the writing is slanted against her. It's like Curtis makes her miserable and she basically better with anyone else in scenes. Jason tripping Drew made me LOL. Britt, being unable to tell lemonade wasn't alcohol as a Dr. and supposedly intelligent person was odd. Even if you can't taste it you can smell it.
  16. I always thought Portia was kinda smug in her upright personality and was actually just messy behind the scenes. Like it was all a front. I can totally see her going to someone more troubled than her and striking up a friendship. Almost as a way to make her actions right. Ava has done way worse, so I am not so bad. We've all had that friend lol.
  17. Portia isn't written with that much complexity, but I do think it's easy for her to talk to Ava because she knows Ava has made huge mistakes and cares about Trina-and will have her back. Honestly, I would rather watch Ava/Portia for an episode over Curtis ambushing Portia over the pregnancy. And, yes, Portia should have told Curtis he might not be the father, but I can actually understand her being caught off guard and overwhelmed in the moment. Sure, it's the same mistakes over and over, but it's also human.
  18. I really like their relationship too. Portia is often written as a hot mess, but Ava has no judgement and I love that.
  19. Cat's apartment is the same set Allie/Chanel, Tripp/Wendy/Li, Ava, etc lived in. It was Eric/Nicole's apartment first and Sonny/Will lived their for a time. While they may reuse set features it's the exact same layout that was used when Connie killed Li Shin. The same apartment has been used multiple times it just changed occupants.
  20. I am not surprised, but I don't even think you need to commit or truly develop the Choi family. Just slightly change their narrative to make the dad's absence make sense. He left, he died, he's an absent father, working overseas, whatever to give the situation more context. Amy handling everything while she phone's her husband every 2 weeks off screen is just lazy.
  21. No, Abby was always Sam's stripper friend. The reason it gets murky is Sam offered to pay Abby to sleep with virginal, traumatized Michael because Michael asked for a hooker to get his first time over with (okay, Sam...). Abby didn't actually sleep with Michael that night nor did she ever intend to take the money. The show went out of their way back then to make it clear she was "only" a stripper. I assume the show just lumped the whole sex worker thing together and RG's Michael would have no idea. I mean, probably only 10 of us remember Abby at all. Her death by crane was the most exciting thing about her lol.
  22. I think the show really dropped the ball with the Choi family. The actress that plays Amy is strong, but it's really glaring and odd that there is a Mr. Choi that doesn't ever appear even though they are still married. Amy seems to make all the decisions for the family. If the show couldn't cast an actor for the part it would have made a lot more sense for him to be dead or have left the family. It could have been the catalyst for Sophia's mom finding religion and the reason she is such a helicopter parent. It also could have played into why she eventually relented to the adoption, realizing she couldn't afford to have another child as a single, working parent. It would also explain why Sophia was left alone to her own devices and Amy not being aware of what she was doing. Instead, Papa Choi exists as phone calls off screen, which makes very little sense. There has never even been a passing comment where Sophia or Amy even gave the dad's opinion a thought or mentioned him visiting or talking to Sophia about any of this lol.
  23. This has been a problem for a long time. I can't even remember the last time Alexis had a real love interest. The show seriously lacks romance. The only stable couples on the show are Chase/Brook Lynn, Ned/Olivia and Felicia/Mac. The latter two don't count for much of anything regarding their romance. I suppose you can count off screen Kevin/Laura. Even all the potential pairings you mentioned don't have much appeal. Maybe Britt/Jason to some parts of the audience? The rest are with day players, boring or with an actress who appears to be off screen indefinitely (Maxie).
  24. It's awful. Listen, if Charlotte never appeared again I wouldn't question it. The correct thing to do is retcon Lulu as her mother and send her to boarding school forever. If we have to live with her than this actress is fine. At least she doesn't say Papa anymore.
