  1. Valerie was wasted potential, IMO too. She's never really likeable even if I think Brytni Sarpi could have done a lot with the role. Wasn't she almost paired with Kristina at one point? Listen, I am not a Maxie/Nathan stan. I can understand why the pairing had a following just because it was the best option at the time lol. That's not a ringing endorsement.
  2. The Denise story is bad. Bad bad. I can't recall what the exact trajectory of the Nina story is but it's not good either. The Valerie/Dante/Lulu situation is also a hot mess. I can actually see why Nathan/Maxie have (had) a following. They truly aren't bad in comparison.
  3. I really do like the idea of Tiffany running Aurora and it's more believable than current options. I feel like it would be played more wacky than serious-much like they play Lucy now, which would be a shame.
  4. Totally. I am just one of those people that knew it was bad, remember hating it and time passes, and I think maybe it wasn't as bad as I remember? And then I watched today and realized it actually was lol.
  5. Woof! 2015 was a rough time for GH lol. The Luke/Sonny scenes were okay and Maxie's hair looked really good, but that's all I got here. I never noticed how Bryan Craig had a hard time looking his scene partners in the eye. Maybe it's just on this episode and he didn't want to look at Dillon. It's strange though.
  6. I was ready for them to find happiness and start anew after Tiffany's depressing stories. If they were kept on I imagine them fading into a more and more supporting role and eventually disappearing all together. They only story I see them playing a big factor in is Robin/Stone's story and Mac and Felicia filled a similar enough role in that.
  7. I am sure I have said this before but I have a hard time seeing where Tiffany/Sean fit post-1995. I know the show could have made them fit, but they feel like the most disposable from the 80's era. I don't think their exit was abrupt. I recall it as mostly a happy ending because Tiffany was pregnant and the idea was Sean would heal and they'd get a fresh start. I saw it as a natural conclusion for them.
  8. Sophia screamed today when Rachel blew that whistle or whatever at her while she was sleeping. She's not very good at this non verbal stuff. What if a nurse made a loud noise? Sydney having panic attacks over EJ's 2 minute kidnapping seems weird. EJ was shot and we heard nothing about Sydney's issues. There is no explanation for Susan's continued presence. She has a home and a husband in Nashville or somewhere. Why is she still hanging around?
  9. As long as it works better than the tale of two Macs. I still have trauma over whatever that was.
  10. I assume in a day to day format it didn't seem as redundant as it does in clips, but I swear every time I popped in to watch the era Bobbie's main story was trying to get a child in a variety of different ways. Tony is a good utility player and Brad Maule makes Tony more likeable than he probably is with his slightly dorky dad charm. I liked Bobbie/Tony a lot in the Labine era as well so maybe I was spoiled and underwhelmed when I went back to their early courtship and marriage. I always did have a problem with him never being able to recover from his breakdown too. He was basically shelved after the story concluded.
  11. So, I always thought I was a bit of hater and I preface this by saying I only watched clips, but Bobbie's endless struggle to adopt/have a child and getting denied was tedious. When reading @Franko 's breakdown of events it seems like it was repetitive. And don't throw tomatoes at me, but I find early Tony/Bobbie dull too. I liked them later on and understand the need for a slightly more stable, tentpole couple. I really get the appeal and it's no shade to Brad or Jackie. I was always a bit meh on them until they started getting good material in the 90's.
  12. It was such a strange feeling for me. I was thinking, "wow, I don't hate this?" It must be at least tolerable.
  13. I don't think Eva would ever publicly trash the father of her child regardless of what she privately thought. I have never seen any indication that they weren't cordial at the very least. I really have no reason to doubt NLG's account of JC's behavior. The timing was extremely tacky. Considering both ladies have been in the industry for a long time I can believe they could work together without issue. They weren't constant screen partners nor were their characters friends. I have to imagine it was a bit awkward, but in reality the character of Natalia was awful so maybe ELR was more interested in trying to save that.
  14. It wasn't as bad as the Viola stuff, but it just seemed in very poor taste. He had grieving family and she was talking about something that happened years before. Actually, I wonder how that went over when Eva was on GH. She definitely had scenes with NLG/Alexis.
  15. I clocked that too. I kept waiting for a line about Peter even knowing Abigail and it never happened. Yes. I thought I was the only one confused about an adolescent wing. I wouldn't even question it much if Days didn't make a huge deal about Sophia being 18 for months. Wasn't it very strongly rumored they did when she returned 25 years ago? It wouldn't surprise me, but you would think everyone would have moved on by now lol. Although considering Jen is very much a recurring player, I could see Days not feeling the need to even go down that road. Unfortunately, that's the biggest storyline Peter was tied to. I don't see a reason for Jack to not get a reaction to it. He could even be talking to Chad, Steve, JJ, etc. about it instead of Jen.
  16. I'll be honest, NLG's wine tweets have sort of soured me on her. I still like Alexis and think NLG is very talented, but she just seems like A LOT to deal with. I don't think she's a horrible human or anything. I personally think she should keep her mouth shut on certain topics. * *Not about Ingo/Mo. They were acting like overgrown kids.
  17. I honestly wonder if we will ever get a reaction from Jack/Jen regarding Peter. I have a feeling that whole era might be ignored. This is a small detail, but how are Rachel and Sophia allowed to be in the same ward? Sophia is an adult. Even if Bayview has a skeleton crew right now, you would think they'd separate the adults from the kids at least.
  18. I forgot the Viola Davis thing. Yikes! That really was a fun night on here though. I actually think Days has crazy fans too, but GH really wins fan wars. The dark days of Liason vs. Jasam still haunt me. I am one of the few people that didn't mind Joss/Dex. I thought they had decent chemistry. They were better than Joss and her spy boyfriend. I don't actively miss them or anything though. I have to agree with the posters that said Britt/Jason were good yesterday. I didn't want to throw something at my tv while watching them so I agree. Seriously, I did think those scenes were decent. See I can say something nice about Britt!!
  19. Well, Ingo got weird so no shame in that call out. At the same time I think NLG gets messy on social media. Not saying she was wrong in this instance, but I can also recall her posting John Callahan was a rapist on the day he died. Her posts can sometimes be less than tactful.
  20. I have personally never got the impression Mo was a Trumper. I don't think I have ever seen him talk politics. My impression was that MB didn't want to do a scene with NLG or thought she was annoying as well while talking to Ingo. It seemed like two men talking crap about their female costar, which is a bad look regardless. I didn't perceive as politically motivated either, though. NLG bringing more attention to it on social media probably didn't help her cause. She eventually backtracked which leads me to believe she was either punished for talking or it actually was a situation two adult professionals could work out.
  21. It's hilariously you and I are the two posters contemplating the ways we can bring Kelly Monaco back ☹️ Who would have thought?
  22. Did that weird dancing doppelganger of Sam's die? Honestly, if Frank really want to [!@#$%^&*] us Livvie Locke could come back.
  23. If I didn't know Frank held such a grudge, I would even contemplate back from the dead Sam being Drew's shooter. Seriously.
  24. Lol! Because I watched this in Sonny/Brenda edits its Sonny walking there, wondering why Brenda is so stupid, walking back, still wondering why Brenda gets him into trouble, walking back again, contemplating all his life choices, and walking back again. It's feels like an hour of him walking across the lawn before he even rescues her. I mean, I'd stay at that hotel so it worked. And, yes, I remember some of the Lily/Miguel scenes were in beautiful locations. As far as Bobbie, I don't think she aged out back then either. Even after Stefan, a great pairing, she was pretty hot and heavy with pre-crazy Jerry Jax.
  25. I forgot about the Mo/Ingo vs. NLG episode. It was handled so poorly. I think NLG did manage to say she and MB talked it out or something. I have never had use for Kelly or Sam, but I really need to hear why she got dumped so unceremoniously. I'd buy that book or listen to the podcast! At least with Days Rachel had been showing signs of mental instability and was always a little demon seed. Scout just seems like a normal little girl and there hasn't been a single indication she's trouble. Although, yesterday her immediately telling Willow that Danny was at Alexis's did give me a pause.
