I don't blame the actors, but it seems like every time the show can't figure out what to do with Finola/Anna they bring Faison back. It reminds me a bit of Days habit of bringing Orpheus back and making him goofier every time. I always thought Orpheus was scarier than Stefano back in the day. Now he's a joke. Anyhow, I am sure Britt and Nathan will be involved in all this and I will be bored to tears. AH and Finola deserve better.

While I am glad Anders Hove is still alive and well, Faison is a dead character to me. I think the rumors were correct too. Melgar was even seen on set IIRC. I think that was too much to unpack with her death and no Brenda on canvas. It wouldn't really have hit because Carly or whoever Sonny was married to/dating at the time. Konnie? Olivia? Wouldn't really care lol. That's one death that should never be undone because it was that iconic.

For everyone that has been waiting for a Juan update with a baited breath-when Saucedo got fired he did go on tour with Miguel. He gave Sabrina her? mother's wedding dress or maybe Lily's-no one cares. But went back on tour. And made a joke that he married a wonderful women named Becky (ha ha!) His final appearance was him asking Sabrina to return to PR with him and I think she did while the actress was on maternity leave.

Lol! I am pretty sure Brenda hasn't even thought about Miguel since 1995. But I do think she owned part of L&B still when she "died". She and Robin used to go and try to find talent at Jake's or some other PC dive bar. Not the one they currently have.

He IS an international singing sensation!!! And the only person that still uses L&B as a record label I think.

I get it's for the sake of the show and it's fine, but they used to have their own space and somehow went backwards in their relationship and are now living with her dad and grandma lol.

Maybe it's not too late for him to join Blaze on Miguel's tour!

I do get the Q's can be suffocating, but there is no reason for Chase and BLQ to live in the mansion period. Chase has/had his own apartment, and they moved into the mansion temporarily for Violet's sake. If Chase can't man up enough to tell Brook they are now 40 and can live in their own space I really don't know what to tell him. I really don't mind them living there at all even if I think Brook Lynn mostly just hangs around to shame "Granny". I need Chase to stop being such a wuss because I can't take him seriously.

CM isn't really my type either, but he's objectively quite handsome and has a great body. I suppose both Drew and Chase have a hero complex. Obviously Drew isn't anyone's hero, but I think he thinks he is lol. Good ending today! I really can't stand Faison though. My least favorite Anna stories revolve around anything Anna/Faison in this current century.

Lol! I don't see Willow's appeal at all. She has Dora the Explorer Hair! And only whines about her kids all day. But I am not a 50 year old straight man in the midst of a mid life crisis breakdown. I just don't know how that girl has that many men interested. She seems so exhausting.

Even though Willow has gotten better, I still don't understand why anyone would be obsessed with her and/or her dumb kids. She doesn't even seem fun to be around lol. I know Drew is one notch above Satan, but CM and his six pack can still get it. Not sure why he is wasting so much time on Willow of all people. I reserve the right to change my mind if we find out she was faking cancer though.

The first time I remember thinking Drew was an ass was when he dumped Carly flat and started hate sexing Nina. I am sure there were other things that happened, but he quickly pivoted to Willow and it spiraled from there. I thought it was a reaction to Jason being back, but honestly the show doesn't focus much on Jason vs. Drew these days.

I thought it had to do with Jason returning but I could be wrong. He immediately dumped Carly and did seem conflicted about the Willow affair for a minute. He then went 0 to 100 on everything after that lol. I suppose the show could have given more thought to his change. Say Sam and Oscar's death is part of the reason he holds so tight to Scout and Willow. I don't know if we are still even supposed to acknowledge Oscar at this point though lol. I THINK there may have been an idea for Carly/Jason/Drew when Jason returned. That was obviously quickly scrapped when Carly/Jason flopped again.

The evolution of Drew is fine with me. I wish he at least acted like he was a decent guy in public or something though. Even Sidwell pretends to be a good man in front of most people. Of course, the show could add nuance and different shades for Drew, but my biggest gripe is Drew comes off as a clown half the time rather than a real villain. It's still by far the best story on the show though. If Drew at least put up an act and had a few real friends or defenders, he'd be more viable to me.

I think Leo probably does have a faction of fans (not on this board lol). I actually don't mind Leo or GR like I did in the past, but unfortunately, we had to see Leo be awful for years and years. You don't forget that just because Leo isn't AS annoying as he was before.

There is no real reason for Nathan to be on the show without Maxie. It's wasting time and money on nothing. Does it ruin the flow of the show? Not really. The pointlessness of it all is more maddening than anything. I wish I had a dollar every time I mentioned Brenda returning, my friend. I would be a wealthy lady. It's been well over a decade since she last appeared and fans still want her to return. More fans than were clamoring for a Nathan or Britt return. Exactly. It's not like Vanessa has crawled under a rock and retired from life. She has said she's willing to return under the right circumstances, Mo wants her to return, fans want her to return, and her story basically writes itself. It's been clear for years that Frank was the issue. I still think it's possible for her to return in the future, if not likely soon.

I think Lilley took the job as a temp and thought it would be a few months at most. It ended up being well over a year. Kirsten kept delaying her return for health reasons that were so vague and then got mad the character was still going strong and fired up her fans. It basically soured me on Maxie in general and I think we all know I really, really wanted to support John/Marlena's only child in any soap capacity.

Jen got a lot of blowback. She made some silly comments on twitter? that said Maxie would have been killed off if she didn't step in and Farah Fath and Kirsten got involved. She got a lot of hate and for me it was unfair. I thought she did a fine job as Maxie. Personally, I felt Jen made some dumb statements but Kirsten, Farah and the fans made it all mean girl behavior. Like, Kirsten took 2 years off casually and was upset? She's still lucky to have a job.

Vanessa would probably return if actually asked. Frank has proven he has no time for Brenda regardless if it's for the good for the show. Jen Lilley had a rough go of it and would not IMO. She's happy on God's network.

It's one thing to throw everything at a proven actress and character like Brenda/Marcil. It was a lot but she was capable. KT looks vaguely nauseated on her best day of acting. Neither she nor Britt are strong enough to carry such a load. It did seem like Nathan/RP were brought back for a specific story especially with his interviews. I agree KS/Maxie were revitalized in the last year or so, but I am not sure how long is appropriate to wait for her, especially considering it seems story is hinging on her return here. I am not even advocating firing Storms. Recast or change the story course if there is no return date in sight.

I am not sure why the show doesn't recast Maxie even temporarily. KS clearly needs to focus on her health and stalling the Nathan story hoping she will be back soon makes no sense. I know the Jen Lilley thing was a fiasco, but the show can't wait for KS forever. Kirsten herself said she was expecting to be let go so I don't think a temp recast should upset her too much if she is unable to meet her commitments.

Sorry, I was just assuming this Val/Carly stuff has a point. Carly can fit in multiple places while Sonny is more on an island. I am not against Sonny in a more supporting capacity, but he appears so much with little point these days. How many bestie chats can he have with Laura lol? I think the show could have Sonny take a long break and GH would be fine. Take a few months to decide what you want to do with the character instead of having him randomly appear to fill his guarantees and sticking him with dayplayer DA just because.

Honestly, Sonny has lacked focus since PM's meds/Ava story fell apart due to Mo's wishes. Carly has been adrift since the Jason pairing backfired. It doesn't necessarily bother me since they both still appear often. It just feels like a waste of airtime. I assume Carly will end up with Valentin and the Brennan/Joss stuff will blow up, but Sonny has no purpose. No love interest, no story, very supporting, which is okay for most of the audience. As a Sonny fan the idea of him being paired with the C character DA is not ideal. I would legitimately rather MB took time off and the show said Sonny was off in Rome visiting a certain brunette for 6 months.
