I hated Daniel too! I always thought Molly had a charm about her that set her apart from the other actresses in her age range at the time. She was a little goofy and silly which I think works for a (potential) Maxie recast. Yeah, I think it clear GH is done with Kirsten for now. They were just very quiet about it. It must be quite serious because I don't see BB officially filing paperwork unless that was his last option. He's always been very respectful when speaking about Kirsten. I think we will just hear Felicia/Mac mention Spinelli/Maxie left town or went on an extended vacation. Although, I am unclear if Kirsten still has unaired episodes. Does anyone know?

Oh, I think JFP is awful and I agree with pretty much everything you stated. I do think JFP had a very dated view of women and thought strong women were difficult or complaining while men were passionate and intense when they were asking for the same thing. It's so odd a woman in the industry would hate other women so much.

I'd rather they kill Maxie off than have Nicole Paggi play her again lol.

Jen Lilley didn't have the best experience on GH. Maxie fans and Storms herself weren't terribly kind to her. JL isn't entirely innocent and said some stupid things, but she has been pretty clear she would never return. Besides JL basically does movies for the Christian Network now full time.

I really think the extended exits did Genie in. I am not blaming her, but at some point I think Guza and JFP found her difficult and somewhat unreliable. Even though some of Guza's writing suggests he hated Laura I don't actually think he did. I agree with you that Guza just got fed up with her exits and was being petty when writing around it. Now, we can go down the road of why Tony was allowed to leave with no problem, but I think that's down to misogyny on both Guza and JFP's parts. I often wonder if Genie had returned earlier in her maternity leave how things would have turned out for Luke and Laura.

Molly/Melanie was a pretty polarizing topic on Days. There aren't many likers out there-which I get. Her and Brady were silly. I think everyone knows I am a Jen Lilley stan, so she will always be my first choice. I really enjoyed her as Maxie and thought she did the best she could in a very impossible situation. I know there are about 1000 reasons why JL will never return to GH, but one can hope lol. The obvious answer is to write Maxie off for a while and see how things end up with Kirsten and then decide if a recast is necessary. Bringing anyone in too soon is a recipe for disaster considering how vocal KS's fans are. I still want my splashy Spixie wedding though!

Yeah, she's done for now. I am open to her returning in the future or a recast, but KS needs to get serious about helping herself. I do think we all kind of knew when she quietly got taken off contract after just returning it was a pretty major issue.

I agree, TMZ can be a lot, but they are reporting on an actual court order so it's not fake. I do see people saying it's because of her brain issues, but we only have her word on that as well. I understand the idea that it should be private, but she put a lot of these issues out there on her own social media from the hacking, eviction, move, etc. If she wanted privacy she could have remained more private. No one is really chasing stories about GH actors these days.

Well..it's sound like that was a last ditch effort and it wasn't exactly invited by BB and his wife. It sounds like he and his wife have a good handle on Harper at least, so that's good. I can't imagine how it feels for a 12 year old because they are old enough to know something's wrong.

I assumed they probably aged Theo up a bit to make him a more viable love interest for Gabi, tbh. It wasn't terribly clear though, but they are playing Theo like he's vaguely in the same age range as Jada, Gabi, and possibly Phillip, but he should be younger.

Idk, Gabi said last week after Theo had the Pub Trivia night meltdown that she had known Theo since high school. That could have meant since she was in high school, but I took it to mean they went to high school at the same time and that they were friends. I thought Theo was always in the Claire/Ciara age range, so it could have been an odd way of saying she'd known him for a long time instead of insinuating they were peers.

So this is probably not an important continuity issue, but Theo said Liam bullied him in high school. Gabi said last week she and Theo have been good friends since high school. So wouldn't Gabi already know Liam from high school and wouldn't they be similar ages? That makes Ari/Liam a little weird with age difference too.

I agree. I don't think Eden will be on this show much longer with all her flopped pairings and stories. Knowing Frank, he will keep her forever, but I could also see her finishing out this arc and being heavily backburned or out. At the same time, I also don't think Frank is stupid enough to try Gio/Joss. There would be no benefit in that. It will make Joss even more hated and hurt Gio's character. I have no idea why Gio/Emma aren't at all involved with the Anna plot with or without Joss. If it's the taping schedule that's a real flaw in his system. Like I said before, even Emma or Gio stumbling upon the truth about BLQ and Jordan's hit and run could cause them angst or getting involved with Kai/Trina in the Drew mess would be an easy place to slot them in. I don't see it being high effort to do either of those things if Frank doesn't prioritize giving them their own story.

While this New York excursion was nice for Gio/Emma, it's still not a story. They still fight for minimal airtime even if the show seems to have pulled back slightly on Joss. I am not arguing that Trina/Spencer got a raw deal, but I don't think Gio/Emma are getting much better treatment. Frank seems to love Mazza, there isn't anything even slightly controversial about Gio/Emma and there is no Joss pairing to push, so it's very perplexing. BTW, I guess Vaughn really did disappeared. I thought we'd see him again at some point to at least end that story, but it doesn't look like it lol.

Mazza obviously has other options with his music, but also seems pretty content working on GH and doing his own side projects. It's not like GH works them that often.

It was slower and possibly duller that's true. @titan1978 whatever happened to Sri Rao? I would have liked to see him try main GH or any soap. Night Shift was so different from main GH though.
