Oh, the moss plant might win. I do kind of giggle at that cheap joke GH is in on. I don't think Sonny is as important to Jason as he was in the past, but it's mostly because Steve isn't acting like a hitman robot these days.

Oh, I agree. Deidre was quite a revelation to me when I watched her early material. I was more I heart you Marlena/John 4 ever before I saw some of her best work. I will never disparage my OG love of J/M, but I find a lot of Don/Marlena and Roman/Marlena very satisfying. I think her finding out Sam was murdered is very good as well. Wayne was a great acting partner for her. Marlena wasn't just a perfect heroine. She had depth. DJ dying was a little histrionic to me, but IIRC Maggie is the one that comforts her first. So we are full circle on the Dee/Suzanne story now.

Yeah, they seem quite happy together still. It's been about a decade. Laura Wright, despite Carly's flaws, seems like a fun person to be around. I am not starting a Wes Ramsey fan club today, but he might be more of an idiot than a horrible human.

Okay fair enough. Wes probably filmed his Days scenes 7 years ago and filmed his GH scenes last week when he was dropping Laura off in the parking lot. 😂 Considering how reviled he seems to be it's crazy he books multiple jobs. @DRW50 I do remember some Wes/MZ comparisons in his GL days.....which boggles my mind a bit. Anyhow, I didn't think a one day Peter cameo was terrible. I was warned beforehand it was happening so I guess I expected worse. Britt being the most annoying human on the planet everyday probably helps everyone's cause.

Hear me out everyone-if you want lol. I think Peter/Wes Ramsey were used effectively today. I don't think this story should exist at all, but it did have a creepiness to it that worked. WR seems like a pretentious tool and Peter went on for years too long, but I don't think he's a bad actor. He's gonna show up as Stephanie stalker on days in a week or so anyhow.

I feel like it's two different things. Suzanne and Deidre were good friends for years. Something happened and it was very personal. They shouldn't act like 18 year olds though. Deidre not liking the actor that played her rapist is a very small choice. Idk if I can find more about Bill Joyce/Kellam, but I think he had some addiction issues and the actual rape scenes were quite violent. And it made Marlena look dumb in a sense. Not victim blaming her, but he was practically a walking red flag that everyone warned her against. Idk if you can still find it on you tube. Then Marlena has the weird sort of interlude testing romance with Josh Fallon that always surprises me in rewatch lol

Yes. It was a really ugly story though that felt thrown together almost last minute. From the quotes I have read I am not sure if Deidre disliked the actor or the story or both?

I don't why the show is averse to making things make sense. Emma said Robin wasn't concerned about Anna at all. Okay, not like shenanigans didn't keep you apart from your parents for years and years. But now Robin/Patrick are all it's fine. Say Robin is concerned but not concerned enough to call the cops-yet. Not living in lala land where everything is obviously fine.

Who comes first Jason me or Carly? Shut it Britt. Obviously Sonny comes first you two.

Not advocating anything about NB's Spencer, but he did turn out handsome in real life so good for him.

I would disagree. I think it was more of an ensemble, but Marlena was a key player. Hope/Bo and Steve/Kayla had a bunch of absences, leaves, bad stories while I think Marlena and John/Roman kept things moving even with Deidre leaving for 5 years. Plus, she and John (and Kristen) get credit for most everything in the 90's where Patch and Kayla were gone and JER hated Bo/Hope. But everyone has a different take and I prefer Marlena to pretty much any other heroine not named Brenda.

I think that's a really fair assessment. I mean.....Drake wasn't the best actor, but was loyal and made a lot of things work with natural charm and charisma. I don't feel bad for him or John as a character, but I do respect him a lot.

It pains me to write that Carly is too far above this nonsense. Lol. It's not fun. It's actually just a pain in the ass character being rude. No one is forcing Britt to stay at Kelly's. Jason is paying for her room and all she can do is trash it to the owner. World famous supermodels, mob moll/teachers, singing sensations on endless tours, and realJagger have all lived there with no complaint. Kelly's/Bobbie's is obviously amazing. Anyhow, Carly was never the obstacle in the Britt/Jason relationship. Steve not getting vaxxed and Kelly deciding to leave every year was lol. The beginning of the relationship was interesting, and KT/SB do have chemistry, but it went nowhere so there isn't a lot of star-crossed issues to snark to Carly about.

I think the show wants Carly to have an adversary and Britt seems to be everywhere now. To @Vee 's point, Carly/Britt don't have this long standing feud. She's not Brenda, Robin, Liz, Sam, or anyone important. Carly doesn't like any of Jason's girlfriends much besides Courtney, so there is no reason to be pressed about someone Jason isn't even dating lol. I need her to make some sort of epic speech like the elevator speech to Sam with TB's Carly regarding Brenda. Iykyk! Saying something like "Britt you will never be Sam, Robin, or even Liz Get out of my establishment and don't come back."

Maggie and Sarah said they were at the funeral. We just didn't see them. They both shared their sadness on screen about John's death. It didn't bother me that Maggie didn't appear on air at the funeral. I don't think Bo/Hope shared scenes with Maggie. Someone can correct me if I am wrong though. Are Bo/Hope close with Maggie? Lol. None of these relationships with Maggie scream of importance. She's closer to many more people on the canvas. I am probably framing my wording wrong. I don't think everyone hates Maggie or anything. I just associate Maggie as being Marlena's friend not John's. And Bo/Hope as family to her, but not anywhere the top of the list of people to share scenes with in a limited return.
