I don't understand the Alamain family tree, nor do I think the show does or have bothered to explain. I am not sure who's alive and who's not, but I would assume at least Nicky Alamain is alive. Days doesn't even try to pretend it's a real country. I sort of assumed Vivian is the de-facto Queen.

I don't know enough about Havins to say one way or the other, but from the writing Lulu gets I doubt she gets any preferred treatment like Setton does. I figured it was a clear attempt to sabotage the pairing before it really begins. Havins never had an issue before and her husband is a soap star and actor, so I would think they would both be okay with it since they understand the business. They've been married for about 20 years. Setton and Swickard have been much more public about their beliefs in the press.

Yeah, I agree that Chase and Brook Lynn should be played the way Lulu/Nathan were today. Nathan was shirtless and Lulu was in casual clothing. Lulu wasn't wearing anything provocative and the scenes seemed romantic like they did spend the night having sex. However, the lack of showing any bit of Nathan/Lulu's first time being together leads me to believe there is little investment in this pairing. They aren't bad together, so it's shame they won't get a real shot. The rest of the episode was boring. Jason spent half his scenes building his gun while flashing back to scenes that just happened. At this point I am not even sure I care if he kills Callum, Jack, or both lol.

Exactly. You could re-block the scene to make it look like they were just talking in their bedroom. No reason to pretend some sexy times were about to happen for what the two were talking about anyway. I have no idea what Amanda is like in real life of course, but I don't think she'd be against a few helpful notes. And I honestly have no idea how she survives LA in summer with that wardrobe when she's off work lol.

It's a pretty flimsy way to get Jason off the canvas especially since Jason said how committed he was to Danny. I guess it beats shipping him off in a coma. I really don't find any of this 5 poppies, Callum, Brennan, Britt, Sidwell tale to be very interesting at all. The show seems to keep adding characters, twists, and connecting people together, but there's no real movement. I feel like they started the Brennan story 10 years ago lol. As far as Setton, we've been complaining about it for years and nothing has changed. She has this job and those clothes until Frank leaves. Sadly, I think GH could easily come up with small compromises to make BLQ look more in character while still being in line with Amanda's beliefs. They choose not to.

Oh, I definitely don't mock Amanda's faith. I am sure she is a lovely person and probably a much better human than I am. But...she's not paid to be modest Amanda Setton she is paid to be Brook Lynn Quartermaine. If you can't play the part because of your beliefs, don't. Sometimes I think Chase and Brook will be married boringly forever with 5 adopted kids and sometimes I think the show might have Chase sleep with Willow and then she has to off him because he finds out too much. Could go either way for Josh Swickard.

Correct. Carly is sobbing like her life is over and Danny is like "see ya!", but to be fair that is probably the appropriate actions for both those characters.

I watch Days while working out and don't rewind if I miss something, so I get. It's very easy for me since I can watch whenever I feel like it. If Brook Lynn took one piece of clothing off and unbuttoned a button or two it would be fine. The pj's were long sleeve. Take the robe off. No happily married couple acts like that. Is she going to sleep in her robe next to nearly naked Chase and wonder why he ditches her for Willow? Lol. Jason's goodbye is taking forever and I wonder if the scenes should have been in a different order because his goodbye with Carly was so emotional and it keeps getting less interesting.

@Taoboi I remember liking Jennifer Sky as Sarah. I was young and haven't revisited much of her work on GH, but she was fine to me at the time. Oh, you didn't miss much drama. Just silliness. BUT to stay on topic for today's GH, Danny had the world's biggest sandwich on his plate when he was talking to Jason. Meanwhile, Brook was in a 3 piece night set with robe and Chase was shirtless. So...the usual.

I can see if there were more than 10 people that posted on this thread. But suddenly the thread police comes in when this poster doesn't even watch GH.
