I obviously would take a Blackie subplot over the let's destroy Jax and Brenda in day sublot lol. I think Ron and FV currently think it's so funny and special that Ricky was on the show. Do people in 2026 even get that joke? Considering the age of GH's fanbase, probably lol. I remember Ricky saying he was extremely grateful to Wendy Riche, so she may have been able to swing a quick cameo in for a Nurse's Ball or some concert event. There would be no point in bringing Miguel back for any real arc, but the show did bring back Wagger lol.

I assume he wanted real scenes that explains where Blackie's been all these years and RC/FV wanted to have as many silly, "wink, wink", cameos as possible. I also assume there really wasn't enough time nor was it terribly relevant for Blackie to give us a breakdown of his last 30 years and his character arc lol. Did FV/RC ever reach out to Ricky Martin? Because if anyone could pop in and sing it would have been him. I am sure Ricky is way too famous, but I do recall he was very amenable to the possibility in the early 2000's. Frank loves to name check Miguel Morez and his endless tour.

I don't think you are in the minority. TJ/Molly were fine. They didn't get much to do for most of their run. There really wasn't much to dislike lol. I always liked Haley's Molly and both Tequan and Tahj as TJ. I am more irritated they ditched the pairing and TJ once they finally got something to do. TJ and Molly working through their problems after so many years together would be far more entertaining than Molly and Cody acting like dumb teenagers. I mean it's extremely silly to have both Portia and possibly Jordan pregnant when the show can't do anything with their grown-up kids. I know Jordan looks about 30, but she was going to be a grandmother last year. I would be so mad if I finished raising my kids, they were out of the house, living their lives and I had to start over again lol.

Oh, lol. I probably misspoke and am being gossipy. I vaguely remember her saying she was stepping away in an interview because of her small kid(s) and helping her husband with his restaurant. I don't think Marci quit acting entirely but she is not interested in long term gigs on daytime especially. I thought she turned down an offer for Lulu before Havins accepted. The whole Natalia mess and the vague redemption tour she went on was cringe. Only for her to kill herself because Sonny didn't love her? As if they were ever even an item.

Oh, I am sure Mansi got a really great pitch from GH and it ended up like this. From her interviews it does seem like her heart is more into directing so maybe she is okay with being a side character and getting to direct episodes? I think JJ was an issue, but I think Haley Pullos was more of an issue. That sounds weird because she was barely on screen for 10 years. I think personally the writing got slanted in Molly's favor so the audience would accept one of the million Molly recasts and the surrogate story was supposed to be more balanced. It was always a stupid story, it got way dumber the farther we got into though. The Blaze romance seemed like something that randomly happened. Perhaps to get Eva La Rue a role or to shut down criticism about FV's GH not having any good LGBTQ stories? Both of which massively backfired lol. And, honestly, Days needs Abby more than GH needs Kristina. I don't think Marci Miller acts anymore so they can fire a few more cast members and we will see Mansi as Abby in 2028

I was definitely referring more to issues with the actress that played Blaze and I don't think it's because she's anti-gay or anything like that. She could be, who knows, but she doesn't appear to be like that from her long daytime career and interviews. I could see her being more into a JJ pairing and JJ not loving that lol. I don't dislike Mansi. She is my favorite Abigail by miles on Days. I think she comes off a lot colder than Lexi Ainsworth, who was more of a likeable screw up. I was very excited for her to take on this role. I still think she'd be better served going back to Days with their 2 dollar budget unless FV makes Kristina a mini-Sonny mob heir. I could definitely see them pairing her with spoiler to pass time though.

I don't think Alexis's raising kids is much of the problem. I never would have made Sam her kid though of course. I really think the show was trying to go somewhere with Mansi's Kristina and whatever happened behind the scenes happened. I have no idea why the show doubled down on the stupid surrogate story after Pullos's arrest. You easily could have written TJ and Molly out with three lines (actually TJ was written out with no lines lol) and decided to one day bring Pullos back or find a suitable recast. Scrambling for Molly's didn't do anyone favors here. I think it's clear Mansi wasn't thrilled with her character's direction, so the show basically punished her with no story and throws her a few directing gigs to keep her happy.

Yes! Molly is just there being slightly annoying most of the time. I don't find anything fascinating about her nor do I care much about her endometriosis and commitment issues. The best thing I can say is she's less obnoxious than Kristina, but Kristina is practically a non-entity these days.

I always thought it was cool that Deidre and Josh did double duty while appearing on primetime, but I suppose NBC probably forced them lol. Going back to the current show, Stephanie gets all these love interests thrown at her, but the show doesn't ever go with some organic options right in front of them like Xander or EJ. Abigail Klein's Stephanie has had, what?, 6 or 7 boyfriends/stalkers since she came aboard.

Considering how GH has treated RH in the past, he's probably happy to be working at this point. I have never cared for Molly in general. I thought Haley Pullos was cute as a kid and a bit quirky, and although Vaganos is serviceable I don't think she makes Molly very distinct. Molly/TJ should have been written off after Kristina lost their baby with a happily ever after. The show could have always brought them back later on. After the whole Pullos situation that would have been the easier choice instead of testing out 4 Mollys lol.

Didn't JT leave around that time? Or significantly reduced his appearances for his primetime show? That could be the reason. I feel like I read years ago they were always interested in recasting Roman, but could never find the right actor until they cast Drake and the show wasn't even sure then and only decided after they saw Dee/Drake's chemistry. They did a lot of chem testing in the 80's which I enjoyed. Even in 1979/1980 I felt like Marlena was being tested with half the men in the cast (Josh Fallon especially) and Don was still hanging out in the wings just in case. I think the Days had more time and budget to explore friendships, possible relationships, rivals, etc. While now they have 3 minutes to complete an episode that will air in 2029 lol.

Oh, yeah. It's odd because they weren't half bad back then. JT and DH didn't have anti-chemistry as Chris/Marlena. The Richard Cates era isn't my favorite because it made Marlena look a little dumb, but I also get Marlena's grief and mind frame at the time. I mean, I guess it wasn't as dumb as Marlena thinking John was Roman and that he grew taller and gained 20lbs in muscle in his time away😂

Isn't Rick Hearst a real estate agent too? Lol. I am assuming he flies out and comes in for a brief period to film all his scenes. Spinelli/Bradford are more contained story wise. He films mostly with the Maxie family bubble and maybe an occasional scene with Jason. Ric has his hands in several different plots so I do think it's more difficult. Lol! I don't even hate Cody/Molly. I just find them frustratingly juvenile. Molly acts like a brat half the time and can't handle the easiest decisions or conversations. She's majorly regressed since her TJ days and it's irritating.

Scott mentioned she was saving dolphins or something at some point. Carly Schroeder is 35, so Serena would most likely be around that age. I would assume she would be in the Brook Lynn, Maxie, Lulu age grouping.

Yes. Unfortunately, Drake, Jed, and Wayne have all passed away. Josh's Roman and Marlena have never worked romantically, so they would have to cast someone new. There was a time post-Wayne/pre-Drake that I thought the show might go with Marlena/Abe, but that was probably too much for the time period and now it wouldn't make much sense. There literally isn't anyone on canvas that would work at this point.

He was giving Gio life advice which I know is rich coming from Sonny, but it wasn't necessarily bad advice lol. The show really has missed a lot of beats with Ric. You know I am not much of a fan, but he has good moments not any real character arcs. Liz/Ric are going nowhere and are Kristina, Alexis, and Ava going to get away with kidnapping him for weeks? I am fine with him being okay with Sonny. It was just a bit random. I think RH has a similar issue to Bradford because neither are local or full time and actions end up getting thrown together without taking time to explain certain motivations. @Taoboi I think Molly/Cody act like children still. Charlotte/Danny act more adult. Molly especially is one of the most immature characters on the show when it comes to relationships. I don't know how TJ stayed with her for so many years. She acts like she has never met a man before. Cody comes off more dumb and dense, but JK is charismatic, so it doesn't bother me as much.

There were years when LW went braless when she probably shouldn't have. In the 2010's she never met a backless top she didn't like lol. And was like banging Jax on desks and had post it notes on her ass. No wonder Brenda barely noticed her lol. One of my favorite moments from 2010 was when Brenda/Robin were openly talking [!@#$%^&*] on her and Carly heard and she tears. Laura Wright's hair distracts me from most of her wardrobe sins because it's so thick and beautiful.

They are getting BLQ's wardrobe from the Home and Heart modest clearance special. I feel like KS just really doesn't have good taste and it shows up in her wardrobe and no one stops her, but I am happy she seems to be healthy and in a good place. As a female, if I was trying to keep any secret at all I would not leave a big old pregnancy test in my purse. Although it was really rude for Curtis to not give Stella a pen and tell her to roam through Jordan's things lol. I would be furious if my significant other was casual with my belongings I liked the Sonny/Gio scenes? I know @Antoyne will roast me later. I really don't think the advice Sonny was giving was bad.

At some point the show is going to have to age up some girls because I don't want Danny hooking up with his distant cousin forever. lol.
