Outside of the Gio mess, it feels like Lois's life was paused. Lois is more mature, but she's never really stated what she was doing all these years. I know managing bands, but even that's on pause. She didn't find new love (won't talk about Lesli Kay's run and Alcazar), have more children, travel, Idk, do anything but hide Gio with her mom and cousin? There are all these untapped years that Lois could have been doing anything and it's a shame it's unexplored.

Jason always felt like the stable one to me. It stifled him though because he couldn't play anything but the solid, consistent guy cleaning up messes. Jason still had a lot of vulnerability when he was paired with Robin and to lesser extents Liz. He and Sam were hit or miss. I agree he's done a good job this week as well. There is something about Lois that almost makes me feel she's very moment in time and 90's. I adore Lois and Rena, but the show seems to have some trouble capturing a modern day Lois and using her properly.

I think LLC's Olivia has more grounded purpose than all those characters. She's Rocco and Gio's grandmother, Leo's mother, Ned's wife, BLQ's stepmother, and a defacto head of the Q's. The show just doesn't use her in that capacity. She's almost always giving advice while serving food. I would agree Rory got some advantages right out of the gate. It was clear Duell was bored with his material, but Rory got a different take on Michael. I think the change was needed both in casting and writing. Chad's Michael was often written as more of a sad sack and Rory's Michael takes charge. That being said, I really liked a lot of CD's early work as teenage Michael.

The show could use WK and LLC a lot better. I thought Rena sort of pushed LLC out because she's Lois lite, but they rarely use Rena as well. I actually think Olivia is just a mixture of Lois, Kate, and Brenda combined in a haphazard fashion-and that is not LLC's fault.

They do. But if I just turned on the show at this moment I would not believe they were mother and son. Of course no one has randomly turned on GH on purpose in 20 years lol.

I mean I have learned to accept it too, but she legit looks younger than him but DZ does have a nice silver fox thing going.

I wish LLC didn't look like a viable love interest for DZ/Dante rather than his mom because they work well together.

Again, I think Steve is really good when it comes to emotional drama as odd as that sounds. Especially when he personally cares, which he obviously does with Leslie Charleson. Something about him being Stone Cold and breaking at the right emotional moments really makes it more real.

You have a valid point and I don't think you are wrong. I think GH is stuck with Mo, his contract, his guarantees for the time being. This board is mostly sensible, but I could see Facebook GH fans having a huge issue with Sonny not appearing more than once a week. I think you could make a creative decision and write out Mo, but you are still risking a lot of audience, IMO.

I agree. Sonny is a supporting player that does appear more often than most. What has Sonny done in years that's been his story? Nixon Falls? Nina? The Ava meds story was halted due to Mo's insistence and PM leaving. Sonny basically reacts to other people's issues these days. I love your idea about Sonny going to jail or getting pushed out of the mob. Of course, my ideal endgame is Brenda, but with that currently off the table I would enjoy that story.

It does feel like Sonny is very stuck. No viable love interest and no basic purpose. It's like the character after all the years shouldn't be stuck with some day player. Hate Mo all you want. I get it, but Sonny shouldn't be holding birthdays for his toddler at this point.

Just then? Lol. I started hating Sonny in 1997 when he left Brenda, but kept pushing along because I thought it was an obvious personal mistake on his part that he's regretted his entire life. I can't even tell you how I felt when Sonny told Brenda he shot Dante and she said that must have been so painful for YOU. My brain left my body. Pretty sure it was much more painful for Dante.

lol. I forgot. I am the worst haha. I am not going to lie I sort of checked out post-Sonny/Ava tomb sex and the AJ killing because even I couldn't defend Sonny anymore. Time heals all wounds and I am back vaguely defending Sonny and it's always half hearted because I know everyone else is right.

Did Monica even know Sonny killed AJ? Obviously he did as we saw on screen, but I can't remember if Monica knew or not.

You know more about this than me. Does that mean she's not currently getting paid? Anyhow, I still think the show should stop coddling Storms, but even if she's fired Days would probably pick her up. Anyone but Martha Madison for me!!!😂

The idea of Brando/Gladys wasn't bad. The execution was. And the actress that played Gladys only had one level and it was smug and unlikeable all the time lol. Frank should have taken that out lol.

I liked her blonde better too. She obviously still gorgeous but this muddy brown color doesn't do her any favors. I mean there are a lot of things that Sophia should have been given perspective about earlier. Her wanting Tate back, the desperation to find a home for the baby, Chanel/Johnny pulling out of the adoption at the last minute, etc. Even her relationship with her mom has been put on the backburner. Where is helicopter mom Amy while this is all going on? She's not more curious about the adoption?

Steve's casket had been switched, so the audience always knew there was a high chance he was alive. I agree that the show waited too long to re-introduce Patch/Kayla, but with them both on GH most of that time I am not sure what Days could have done. By 2006 most of the audience wasn't even familiar with them. I like your ideas though.

I don't know. I rarely understand Rachel Boyd's Sophia's choices, but I sort of get her anger and frustration over Johnny/Chanel. They did ruin everything for Sophia and the baby only to decide they can adopt a "different" baby a few months later. That would upset me too.

Lol. She was Mike or Sonny's cousin? Both? She was Brando's mom and tried to steal Sasha's money and had her locked in the looney bin. I had a visceral response to the actress and could not stand her. Sonny made her leave town after the Sasha fiasco. She wasn't an important character, but she has to be my most annoying character from the last 10 years and that's saying a lot lol. Yes. Hilariously, I thought I missed a scene or episode too when that happened.

You are a lucky human because you missed Violet's self-written songs. I wish that little girl the best and she is talented, but OMG was she the most annoying person on the show. Not important or relevant, but Gladys was the most obnoxious character to exist. Every scene was nails on chalkboard to me. But then I met Violet.
