  1. Lol! Felicia pivoting and comparing a young mother dying and an orphaned newborn to Lulu/Nathan dating is a choice. Like, life takes you to weird places! Liz (side eyeing) yes, this is exactly the same as a dead woman and an orphan. I am sure Maxie being happy with her life partner and family is really the same because Lulu is dating her ex-husband. Go do some PI work instead Felicia! DA lady recapping her Sonny sexy times is a hard no for me especially when she is with wooden Jordan.
  2. Lol. The Brenda love went a little too far in 2010. Everyone didn't have to talk about Brenda or love her at the time although I totally got it ha ha! I remember Sonny/Brenda having a date a Jason's penthouse and Sonny called Spinelli a freak (or something similar) and Brenda fiercely defended Spinelli. Telling Sonny Spin was sweet and he was out of line. There is also a hilarious set of scenes where Spinelli tells Sonny to protect Brenda's virtue and not to sleep with her too soon and Mo's facial expressions were hilarious.
  3. Oh, I definitely think BA's looks hurt him. He's not cookie cutter handsome like Chase or Nathan, but at least he has a personality. I legitimately wanted to strangle Spinelli in 2010 ish. He was that obnoxious. I do feel like the show has made attempts to make mature him and Bradford is adept at playing him that way. I also think in the Guza years the show really walked the line on Spinelli being comedically quirky instead of possibly neurodivergent. I can understand how that could be difficult to write. I think on current GH he works better as comedic character and cyber genius. Most of the nicknames and obnoxiousness are gone and you feel he is a great, loving family man. For all these reasons I could see this being the end of Spinelli and Maxie's story (for now). Give them their happy ending and put a pin in it.
  4. I have been a pretty big advocate of Spixie, but I wonder if Bradford's availability screws up timing. I believe it's by his own choice and when you combine that with KS's long-term absences I feel like we miss beats. I know they block tape and all that, but PM's run seems like the last time Spinelli/Maxie were written coherently. I do wonder if we are at the point where we give Spixie a splashy wedding, send them off, and revisit them later if necessary. Mac loves raising other people's children so you can always keep a recast Georgie and James with them. Spixie can take the infant or give it to Brook Lynn. I don't really care lol.
  5. Lol! Jacinda will probably inherit Crimson. I would have wrote Nina out ages ago, but she doesn't bother me much these days. Why did Maxie even leave Crimson in the first place? Did she get fired? What exactly are her and BLQ's "skills"? They all sort of just dabbled at college IIRC.
  6. Yes. Deception wasn't even a makeup company. It's a perfume company and now it sells skincare? It's fine to pivot, but Frank didn't really do the research on it. Lucy/Brenda are the two characters I associate Deception with and now it's just a company with the same name for "history" sake. Didn't Lucy have her own cosmetics company when she came back? I thought Lucy decided to bring Deception back when her company folded because of the vampire delusions, I think? Lol. I dislike they make Lucy a running joke because she was always successful. Lucy and Serena scheming to bring back the original perfume and re-launching with some splashy party and having Brenda show up as the surprise new shareholder and model would be amazing. Honestly, kick BLQ out and have her focus on producing or singing or baby making or something, have Maxie team up with Nina at Crimson and let Lucy, Brenda, and Serena run Deception. Tracy can stay being a thorn in Lucy and Brenda's sides.
  7. And Maxie was wearing jeans and a big old chain belt with that blazer IIRC. I have given up trying to figure out Kirsten's style years ago. I really don't like it. Kirsten looks healthy so that's good at least. They do need to shake Deception up a bit. It has become far too campy or cheap? I don't know exactly what I am trying to say but Sasha and Blaze as their models? The off brand Home Shopping Network? Lucy should have never stooped to that level. Could you imagine Brenda being the face for Deception now? That would be so beneath her lol. Both Tracy and Lucy are way too snobby to resort to this sort of nonsense to keep the company alive.
  8. Ha! Ugly crochet sweater vest thingy aside, I think Maxie dresses like she's a teenager. With her Converse and jeans, I have a hard time believing she's the driving force behind Deception. It's better than KS's big old sweaters, but there has to be something in between Brook Lynn's Amish wear and Maxie stealing clothes from her daughter's closet. I don't especially like Kirsten's haircut either, but we have seen much worse from Storms so I'll let it slide.
  9. No, lol. But I am sure they had a lovely talk off screen that was very romantic. I am joking. Maxie did tell Spinelli about her decision, but he hasn't appeared since then. He's gotta take care of Maxie's brood of kids.
  10. I actually wouldn't give Marlena another love interest. She's had several great loves, obviously John being the greatest, but she works fine as is. She's not as locked in as SSH is due to BH being her real life husband and that's too much, but I think it's very acceptable for Marlena to be single from now on. There is something nice about being okay with having all those years with John and being content with that one huge love story.
  11. Her work looks great to me and her hair and makeup always looks good. Deidre doesn't fumble her lines, she is related to half the cast, shows up and delivers, and is a great anchor after Drake's death. Her biggest sin is the ugly ass pantsuits she wears.
  12. I would agree with all of this except I'd keep Rory's Michael and ship the kids off to Sasha so they all can be raised together or something.
  13. That's actually kind of a brilliant idea.
  14. Deidre looks and acts fresher than most in her age range so I don't think we should shuttle her off to the retirement home just yet. Josh Taylor? Fair enough.
  15. I liked Dante/Cody's silly bro talk today. I was half expecting Dante to ask Cody what he thought about Liz lol. Dante saying the WSB mission was the end of his/Lulu's marriage, but wasn't the real crack Dante cheating with Valerie, Lulu's cousin? And yeah, I really tried to pay attention to where Jason was going and all I got was doing something to help Britt?
  16. I would give Sister, Sister a much more positive review than whatever is happening with Jackee on Days.
  17. I guess it's relatable, but it feels like I am being schooled on women's problems here. It feels similar to when Willow was (hopefully faking) cancer, didn't get treatment, didn't tell anyone, and put herself and her baby at risk, but we were supposed to think she was a strong woman? Like, Molly take care of yourself. We already went through this whole thing when you ignored it previously, told no one, and became infertile. 2 years later you are still not helping yourself? She lost her baby, broke up with her life partner of many years, and still is being careless and afraid Cody won't like her? Cody literally dated his cousin for a year lol.
  18. Low bar lol. I don't love PSA's on soaps especially when Molly is being particularly dense about the situation. Not many people have cat poop disease, but a lot of women have endometriosis. I still don't know what the whole Liz eye mites situation was about or what it accomplished lol.
  19. Thanks for the info. I don't really know how that correlates to Molly. She isn't even trying to help herself. There might be no easy fix or solution, but you have to start somewhere and Molly refuses. So, sure we get info about endometriosis and all that, but Molly has been denial about this for years to the point she can't have children and still decides not to get help. It makes Molly seem like some sort of martyr rather than a woman who is actively taking control of her health and well-being. Not very inspiring.
  20. I know. I wonder if it's a denture issue and it will work itself out once they settle or whatever. But acting with Theo in scenes, who makes fairly subdued character choices, was not a great look for her today. Yesterday even Raven Bowens appeared to be confused by Jackee's choices.
  21. It was rough. I can actually see it as a punishment as Vanessa had really long hair and cut a lot off and her hair was low key part of the character. She rocked the same style for at least two or three years after so it worked in the end, but I could see people BTS being pissed especially since Brenda hadn't quite hit peak popularity yet. Yes. Anything more organic than Liz patching up his hand one day. I am pretty sure she treated him through two gunshot wounds and he didn't notice her.
  22. It seems like she thinks Days is a comedy. Which, fair, girl, fair. It is sometimes. She makes the most exaggerated facial expressions when she was literally talking to HERSELF today about Abe and their marriage. There isn't a studio audience here Jackee!
  23. Please don't remind me of those horrible extensions VM had for a few months there lol. It was even more awkward because they let her wear it short for an episode or two then gave her the extensions and then Brenda had a huge fight with Sonny so she decided to chop off her hair mid-argument lol. Normal behavior. Yes, DZ and BH have chemistry with mostly everyone. There really isn't a reason to put them together in a romantic sense. Lulu is right there! Liz and Ric have been dancing around one another for months. Like I said if there was some sort of situation that threw Dante/Liz together and they suddenly saw one another in a new light I could possibly get behind it. Instead, it's ultimately lazy to decide to pair them together because the show can't think of anything better for those two.
  24. I feel like Ethan got some really horrible stories during his initial run like the nowhere pairing with Mya, Kristina saying he beat her up, and the whole Luke/Holly of it all. Nathan Parsons is likeable and Ethan could be more interesting. I think the show lost interest in him somewhere along the way (maybe when JJ returned?) or didn't really know what to do with him. He worked well with several people including Tony and Jane. The character really never panned out to much of anything, but Ethan at least had a personality unlike Chase or Nathan. Honestly, the most memorable Ethan moment for me is when he kissed Lulu before knowing she was his sister lol.
  25. Jackee makes the most OTT facial expressions. I mean, I lived through 90's John/Marlena. Days acting doesn't need to be subtle or even great, but I have no idea why JH makes such ridiculous faces when people are talking to her. Sometimes they are Susan level weird faces when everyone else in her scenes are acting relatively normal.
