Yeah, I personally liked Drew and I know others did as well. To me it was more of a mystery as to why he was fired rather than Chad being bad. And at least the soap press seemed to pump Duell up from the start. I absolutely hated Carly in general, but I thought Reckell did a good job selling the romance. It got convoluted so early on and by the end Crystal seemed to just sell her scenes with Lawrence/MS for obvious reasons. RKK's Bo was of course fabulous with Billie, I also thought he did really well interacting with his family.

Speaking of Gh's Michael, wasn't Chad Duell pretty much universally accepted right away? I know people were sad about Garrett getting canned, but CD stepped into heavy material right off the bat and did well and was praised. Obviously, things went downhill lol. On the Days side of things RKK as Bo and I suppose you can count Drake as Roman 2 even if that was retconned back.

Diane being a dummy with a wig in the office would be the greatest contribution the character has ever made.

I didn't pay much attention, but I thought it was a Lorenzo fake out. So, yes, Alcazar was mentioned, but it was always Tomas and the whole thing was quickly scuttled and never brought to a conclusion? I didn't watch enough OLTL to know if that even makes sense though.

My first thought would be Joss's age range, but the show can barely find anything for Trina or Emma to do. She would probably be closer to the Molly age range if we are going off the sequential timing of her birth. Her relevancy would be an issue, but I do think that was something the show always would have had to deal with if they decided to bring her back. Once Ted left, Alcazar was never mentioned again so I have a hard time believing King was ever considering coming back. You either make Lila Rae more important to the Q's than she is and throw her into that group or have her back with a grudge against Jason/Sonny for killing her father. But, hey, if we are bringing back long forgotten kids, I'd still vote for Alec, who would immediately somehow become Joss's boyfriend because Brenda vs. Carly lol.

I don't think anyone in the GH viewing audience would blink if someone off handedly mentioned Skye found out Adam was her dad. Or if she just dumped her daughter Lila Rae off in PC and Skye wasn't actually involved in story.

Yes, the familiarity of it all was so obnoxious. There was never an adjustment period, which even characters like Emily and Drew had. She just sidled up to the living room acting like she knew the whole family her entire life and deserved a place at the top of ELQ. I don't even think Skye is an awful character. I hated her being forced down my throat.

I think the most concise explanation, and believe me it's not a concise story, is that Edward paid someone off to make baby Skye disappear, Alan and Rae thought the baby was dead and Adam and his first wife (don't recall her name) adopted Skye illegally. Eventually it was revealed Skye was Rae's daughter but Rae didn't know who the father was....and that's where it was left. I don't believe Adam could even be in the race to be Skye's bio dad, but not positive.

Meh. Skye was a grown ass woman when she was adopted by Alan after Rae still couldn't figure out who her father was. I don't think we even know now. It was more of an ABC/JFP experiment than a true Q tie and it was retconned shortly after. Emily was a child who lost her single mom to cancer and both Monica and Alan adopted her as a young girl, willingly. They are two very different scenarios. Skye couldn't have cared less about Monica but would be quoted as saying things like, "lol, we know how Grandfather is and so on..." Do you Skye, really? Everyone to this day considers Emily a Q while no one ever even mentions Skye. Hoping she found out Adam was her real dad off screen or something. Sorry, I have a lot of pent up Skye hate lol

Yeah. He so similar to Chase to me even in looks that he feels redundant. I am just thinking there are two ways to play this Nathan story and the outcome probably changes to something more favorable if Maxie can return.

Chase's behavior is wildly uncalled for. I can see having affection for Willow, but he's been happily married for a while now and Michael was always his friend. There are ways to help Willow without openly tanking your own career and that is what Chase seems hell bent on doing. If his feelings for Willow had a real progression I could maybe understand. He went from barely caring about her to ride or die for her very quickly. It's not a bad plot to move Chase into Willow's orbit for an eventual affair. He is going about this so stupidly there is no way to not be on BLQ's side, which is obviously what the writers and Frank want because of Setton. I think the Nathan plot may actually be stalled. I bet FV is trying to gauge when Kirsten will be able to return, as I assume it would be ideal to have Maxie in this story.

He has never screamed Dr. (or potential assassin hired by Clyde lol) to me. The actor has always been a bit dopey in acting and appearance. But so is Aaron so that might be intentional. On another note, I appreciate Marlena has something to do, but I find her being seriously ill after John's death depressing especially for her family. The show has done a good job using Marlena effectively without John and without this illness story, so I am not sure it's necessary. Obviously, I assume it's tied to a more sinister Dimera plot, but it hasn't really inched closer to things being connected yet.

Yes they are acknowledging Jeremy's abuse and specifically the hot tub incident where Jeremy tried to drown her. On another note, glad the board is back. I had to watch Days blindly today before reading @AbcNbc247's recaps and it was tough lol.

Listen, I am all for Laura Wright wearing silly wigs and glasses if there was a point. So far she's just been nice to Brennan and made out with him. How evil lol!! Even though I have been told Brennan loves her the writing was never there. It's so low stakes. Carly should maybe talk to her daughter and have an adult conversation instead. Laura and Anna look foolish. I really don't have an issue with either being friendly or at least having some affection for Sonny. I don't get both of them wanting to have a parade to announce how much they love him and how valuable the friendship is. C'mon, Laura basically tolerated Sonny because of Luke until Lulu/Dante got together. Anna likes Sonny because Robin did? There really isn't much more of a reason for Anna to give him the time of day besides that. They aren't lifelong buddies.

It feels like the show hired Hank Northrop first and are still deciding what to do with him lol. I don't have a judgement on the character yet, but this non-story (so far) has been happening for at least a month and he's only made 2 appearances lol. Also, this may be a stupid question, but is Chad's name really Chadwick? I can't find any evidence of that in a quick google search, so I assume it's just a silly nickname Leo calls him? I feel like I've heard other characters (EJ?) call him that though too.

I honestly don't care if Laura is friends with Sonny. She's been friends with him for decades. The way she goes about the friendship is stupid. She has no sense of self-preservation or awareness about the optics of parading her friendship with Sonny around town. She practically celebrates it. There's no reason in the world she can't just keep the friendship low key and explain they share a grandchild and frame the relationship that way. A lot of Laura's choices, like getting into a public fight with Dalton, just make her look silly and like a fairly incompetent mayor. Carly is another PC lady that's starting to look silly. I know she's explained her plan a lot, but it's still stupid and moving at a glacial pace. If Joss is 45 by the time her revenge plot unfolds, what's the point? Just dump Brennen and move on please.
