  1. Correct. Jax was willing to play the game because he wanted to keep Joss in his life, which was the most important thing. I don't see him giving Joss any nitty gritty details about Sonny/Carly to this day. Jax spent 25 years telling everyone in town how sucky Sonny was and no one listened. I hope Jax is living his best life surfing in Australia with a non-Sonny related woman. Ingo aside, Jax was one of the few non villain characters to speak the truth about the Jason/Carly/Sonny toxicity and actually tried to help.
  2. Oh, Joss has plenty of ammunition to hate Sonny. I don't mind that. I do think it's odd all her anger is directed at Sonny and maybe Carly, but Jason is fine by her lol. I still consider Jax as a character to be classy most times (for GH). So I could see him not going into big Sonny details while Joss was a child to keep it cordial between himself and Carly.
  3. I think the show tiptoes around bringing Jax up due to obvious Ingo issues, so as an audience we know why Joss should hate Sonny forever and always, but they are so reluctant to even name check Jax. Does Joss even know Sonny tampered with Jax's plane because he was a jealous manchild?* She was just a baby. *Apologies if that was brought up in today's show. I am West Coast.
  4. She could easily frame Jacinda who has a history of using illicit drugs for manipulation to get what she wants and cover herself-and Jacinda could wind up dead lol. Call me Willow! I have ideas for destruction you can use!
  5. Honestly, Willow could have probably saved herself a lot of trouble by just doing that alone. I still love the chaos of the Drew situation though.
  6. I feel like the show was thinking about going there after Michael was talking about his pain after the burns and popping pills, but it was obviously dropped. Before the whole Drew chaos it would have been brilliant for Willow to slip Michael higher doses of meds and paint him as an unfit father with an addiction to get her kids back.
  7. I always love when you post your thoughts on old episodes. You bring depth especially to stories I ignored or didn't care for lol. I agree Jagger/Karen are strong in this period. The story is heavy and I think it's a lot for two teenagers, but I understand why Jagger/Karen are so popular. I still don't like Karen though lol. I was always curious about the boxing story as well. I thought it was fun although I had no idea why it was happening. Was there a popular movie about boxing at the time? Was it a thing? I never exactly understood the AJ/Jagger rivalry either. Sure, Jagger could be mad at AJ for slut shaming Karen, and AJ could be mad at Jagger for stealing Karen from Jason, but the stakes weren't that high and they hated one another so much. I can't really see a long-term plan for this story even if you were going to set up Brenda/AJ or have Julia/AJ/Ned re-ignite. I suppose it did set up the mob/Sonny story when Jagger refused to throw his fights.
  8. I wouldn't kill off another one of Alexis's kids either. Plus killing off Molly would kill off Ric's only kid. Molly existed in the background for years. She can go right back there. Lol. Michael just loves a damsel in distress so probably. I actually always wanted an addiction/alcoholism story for Michael like his father, but the show would only frame it as Sonny/Carly/Jason were somehow right to take him away from AJ. I think it would be poetic justice because after all their efforts Michael still inherited some of AJ's behaviors. I think Rory would kill an addiction story, but it is probably cliche.
  9. Yeah, I think it's more a double down on Frank thinking they FINALLY found the right Molly than actually caring about the character. And, honestly, I don't think Vaganos is hogging up major money considering the cast.
  10. Not for Michael. Lol. That's sexy talk for him No one really cares now and no one will care in a year or so. Their magic baby will take them straight into the sunset off the canvas.
  11. The surrogacy and the baby dying was what broke her and TJ up. She didn't want to try again and TJ did. I am 100% sure she will change her mind or her uterus will be magically fixed like her sister Sam's was.
  12. It's not new considering that's the whole reason she had to have a surrogate, but it wasn't an issue until 2024 or whenever they started recasting Molly. So the audience has been well aware of her lack of concern on taking care of herself for at least two years.
  13. Budig makes much more sense age wise for Robin rather than Brenda, but what a horrible idea either way lol. FV/RC could probably think they could get away with a recast Brenda, but who would ever accept a recast Robin? Yeah, I stopped visiting DC years ago. I remember them hyping bringing the OLTL brood back as different characters like it was a genius idea, not one they were literally forced to do and should have cut the losses then.
  14. Budig was probably ME's best pairing, but that's not saying much. Sarah wasn't terribly well defined after two fairly brief stints years ago. You could have worked around Budig's strengths and basically molded a new Sarah. I don't think Budig herself would have been against it. Sarah is a built-in legacy character and wasn't she rumored to be in the running for an (imaginary) Brenda recast? Makes sense she pissed Frank off. Her exits have always been abrupt and the dialogue about Hayden since she left has been very negative.
  15. I recall wondering why Violet called her dad's girlfriend "Aunt Liz" and then was like...oh. I guess she is. I don't think the idea of bringing Liz's sister back was bad. You had Sarah already in existence. You could have made Budig Sarah. I don't know how believable RB would have been as a Dr, but it can't be worse than believing Van Hasis is. I don't know how anyone could think Hayden was important. The show didn't. They left a bunch of her stories hanging when she left and I am still not sure why she doesn't come and collect her child from alcoholic Finn (off screen of course).
  16. Frank thinks his inside jokes are so clever and if we don't laugh we don't get it. I get it...I don't want to. Watching the Player stuff makes me so irritated the show spent so much time and effort on a bunch of kids. I am surprised I didn't see Child of the Corn Joss glowering in the background. Emma/Spencer/Cameron literally turned out to be nothing in the scheme of things although I don't rule it out when the show eventually brings back Cam and Spencer.
  17. I actually thought Watros and Ingo would work well too. They looked good together. Ingo did strike out with love interests more often than not. He was lucky he worked well with the most important two. I wonder how Watros would have done with her own character. Nina's backstory is so hard to overcome. Stafford played Nina like a cartoon and she's not my cup of tea, but she did really have to play out the wackiest parts of Nina's ridiculous baggage. For a few years it felt like the show kept piling more insanity on top of an already insane entrance. As far as Budig, that should have worked better than it did. I often forget she was ever on the show unless her brat started to sing.
  18. You know I think Cynthia Watros is hit or miss. She had the best chemistry with Drew, was okay/decent with Sonny/Valentin, and had no chemistry with Jax. I know no one cares about Jax, but I was one of the few people that actually liked Nina/Jax when Stafford was in the role. That was probably the only time I didn't mind Stafford's Nina. To CW's credit, I am pretty amazed she's kept Nina going for so long on the canvas.
  19. Meh? Wasn't their song used in a mop commercial around this time? I have seen way more embarrassing things happen to people on GH. The cast at least pretended they were into it.
  20. So, I hate myself for looking it up, but effing Bethel's lisping Spencer brought Player to town to dedicate a song to Emma after she did a dance with Cameron. They were all about 8 years old btw (not Player-the kids). So an actual child brought a 70's one hit wonder band to the Nurse's Ball to impress another child that was born in 2009 lol. Spencer says he had to do something Bold and Beautiful to impress his Emma and Britt even asks TC's Nik if he had anything to do with it. Nik wisely washes his hands of this whole scenario and basically is embarrassed someone would think he's that uncool. Liz and Ric are eyeing one another, but she looks back at Nik, as Nathan and Maxie are glancing at one another too while Maxie is with Levi Dunkleman lol. I got bored and turned it off because it was almost 5 minutes but I hope Emma appreciated her song.
  21. I thought Ron or Frank or someone high up was friends with Ronn Moss's wife. That probably sounds random AF, but so was the appearance. Ronn said that RC came up with the idea himself, so who knows? NO time for Blackie or John Stamos to talk but we will let Player come hang out lol.
  22. Lol! You aren't wrong.
  23. If the show framed it like Molly was being ridiculous because TJ was basically her only partner (I'll ignore the Brando situation for now) I could maybe understand. She was with TJ since she was practically a child so I can grasp that angle. However, she doesn't seem to be mourning the loss of her relationship or her child and is just being neurotic Molly because the show thinks it's cute or something. I tend to get Cody's reluctance since the last person he dated was his cousin lol.
  24. The show memory holed that, but I don't forget that easily!!! I totally forgot about Player at the Nurses Ball. Most of the acts are forgettable to me. I recall Jack Wagner singing, the guys in their underwear, and Mac with his dummy.
  25. People always say the service is awful, but I watch the good ole 'Cock all the time lol. I think even Molly and Cody are too old to be generation TikTok and I am 100% sure the viewing audience is.
