Austin and EJ bothered me today. Do guys really stick together over scenes like they just went through. Bahhh. Now I have to watch and see how EJ really uses what he is covering up.

Steve and Kayla's reunion was wonderful and I sat here in my chair saying where is Stephanie, she just has to see this and sure enough, here she comes...........perfect touch.

It was delightful watching Kate and Bonnie plotting for their children.

I was so glad that we got Kate and Bonnie scenes..I love them scheming together...It was great having Bonnie fill Kate in on what has happened since she's been gone..Judi Evans is such a hoot, i would be happy if Days kept her as Bonnie..

Mimi was pretty enjoyable today..loved her tirade on belle...Yes she is a total hypocrite, but belle is out of line as well...Glad Mimi stopped whinny for a minute and confronted shawn and belle..Also it was nice to see Phillip again, now that i actually like Kyle B's version..

Steve and Kayla had a nice reunion, and i'm glad the Della thing is done..So glad she's not a permanant character...I'm looking forward to steve and bo tommorow..thats going to be great..

I found the Lucas, Carrie, Austin, Sami, EJ scenes to be the low point of the episode..it seemed like filler, and their on again tommorow..I am very happy that carrie and austin cheated, and i hope that the secret comes out at the wedding..Its time for Sami to dump Austin at the altar...

For the first time ever, EJ annoyed me today. The pastry thing and then he seemed so smug about having dirt on Carrie, Austin, and Sami. It's almost like he is enjoying immersing himself in their lives. I am really starting to sour on him and I have liked him until now. I don't know why but the last 3-4 episodes I have been unhappy with him. Maybe it has been all the LUMI stuff but whatever the case he is losing his appeal to me. It's not James Scott's fault though-I am hoping with Beth starting this will get better.

Stephanie coming downstairs was the perfect touch. I LOVED that.

Fath did do great today but I still want Mimi to go down and go down hard. I was just happy someone called Belle out about her mistakes too even if it was Mimi. Philip is the only one I feel sorry for but Mimi is the person I hate with a passion. Philip is going to lose so much in this and he will never forgive his mother and probably not his father either. Philip is going to lose alot and he won't be like Lucas and Austin and forgive Kate after 3-4 months, at least I hope not. I am hoping we see more of him as a true Kiriakis like we have been of late-that would be awesome IMO.

Today's eppy was awesome! You can really tell that JER is ALMOST gone... *saying in my head over and over again...* "Can't wait till that hack's gone... 1 more day.. just one more day.. you can get through this" LOL.

Back to the episode... I agree that Sami/Lucas/Austin/Carrie/E.J. were completely filler today. No need for them. And EJ stuffing his face with those danishes (sp?).. I have to say that after two full months of this character, I HATE him! He is used way too much for nothing and it's like he's there for no reason. The actor is good, but the character has got to go. Maybe once Sheffer begins writing, I hope they explore the reason why EJ showed up in Salem. If not, I say get rid of him.

The Steve/Kayla scenes at the end of the show were great. Loved how they showed Stephanie and smiling. When the camera panned over a little to the left... I knew something was up. And.. as the rest of you said, Della actually had some REAL emotion today. Don't you find that the actress stays on the same tone of voice ALL the freaking time? I'm also glad that she's not a permanent character.

Farah Fath.... well, she was pretty good today. It was good to have her talking normal, but at the same time pissed off, instead of whining like a baby. I loved how she pounded it in to Belle. But then again, she is a hypocrite. She's telling Shawn & Belle to be honest about their feelings when she's the one not even being honest. I want Mimi to go DOWN when the truth comes out! WAY DOWN! lol

And finally, the Kate and Bonnie scenes. It's great to have Kate back. And, wow! Kate has the Salem Brain... She though that maybe someone deliberately switched the eggs and are trying to mess up her and Bonnie's children's lives... Way to go, Kate!

All in all.. great episode today. Hope everyday this week gets better.

This transition has really hurt the character of EJ. So much so that I currently have no interest to feature him in my upcoming fan fiction blog. (Warning: Shamless plug! September 4th... ) Maybe Beth and/or Hogan can redeem him. Time will tell.

I loved the ending with Steve and Kayla, and Stephanie looking on and smiling. Now that's what Days can be. It was an honest, emotional scene.

But.......I didn't know Cincy was thatclose to Salem! He was talking to Della one minute, and standing at the door of the Pub the next. I almost thought it was another fantasy of Kayla's, until Stephanie came downstairs.

Ugh, I found this episode so boring... Damn, bring on Sheffer!

Oh it's not that I don't like EJ KR-I do but the last week or so I am really starting to get bored and annoyed by him. It seems like where they want to go with him changes day by day. I am hoping under Beth he gets direction like he did the first few weeks he was on the show and then I will hopefully care again.

I guess I was always raised -- though admittedly, I made a lot of this up myself -- that there are certain rules in social situations. And again, I made a lot of these rules up for myself so whenever someone on a soap breaks one, I'm just GOING to call them out on it. For instance, E.J.'s been in the U.S. for what, a few months? And already he thinks he's in a 'comfort zone' with the Fab Four to earn the right to just take without asking? First of all, yes, it's wrong to take anything without asking, but some friendships have reached a level where it's 'understood' that you can 'share the wealth' with everybody, so to speak. I don't think this was one of those cases. Again, it takes years to reach that kind of 'comfort' zone. That's why 'Eej' clearly acted childish by snatching what I bet was one DELICIOUS pastry. And if Austin's like me, he'd buy four for Lucas, Carrie, Sami and himself -- people whom he'd EXPECT to give them to -- but he'd have an extra one for himself. I can't remember how many pastries the writers said Austin ordered, but if the number was only four, E.J. would be TOAST, if I were Austin. If it was five then 'Eej' would still be in hot water because, dammit, that's my extra pastry, you thief! I'd say that E.J. was ONLY entitled to a pastry if Austin purchased six, and only then if Austin didn't intend to buy two extras for himself. But the point is moot because E.J. shouldn't have been at the apartment that late, SHOULD HE?! Plus, Austin did say he bought them for breakfast, so ONLY the Fab Four should have eaten them.

This, of course, brings us to one conclusion: E.J. is a bastard!!

Well, I've been bored and annoyed with EJ for weeks, Phoenix. So welcome to my life! The EJ love was very premature. I bought into it, as well. I think he well even out now as being annoying, pointless, and shoved down our throats a la Brandon and Patrick. Purely speculation, but that's just where I see him going.
