I don't think so. He has great potential. He's just been written into a corner since he arrived. I really feel, with the Black Hand story, that he will be front and center very soon here.

I'm going to live in denial, if that's true, and believe that EJ will be good for her. EJ is going nowhere. EJ is a little different then Franco and Brandon as in James Scott can act and the character is suave and sophiscated. He hasn't really accepted Sami-he wants her to grow up and take responsibility for her actions but he also sees her as a girl looking for love who has had a bad life. There is potential here but the transition writers don't seem to know where to go. When he first came on, it was great but now they are dragging it like they don't want to committ to anything until Beth and Hogan start. Hopefully, we will see some direction here. I do think LUMI is inevitable but I still think a Sami/EJ pairing could work and I certainly think EJ can work as a character. EJ/Billie will be interesting. EJ keeping Carrie and Austin's secrets and that line is intriguing, as is him keeping Sami;s secret since it appeaprs he is attracted to her. If he wants her, why not reveal the secret or find someway to reveal it without getting his hands dirty so he can have her? Weird but I guess he wants to appear loyal to Sami so that when it does come out she will be closer to him.

The incest doesn't bother me as they aren't blood. I can understand why it bothers some. It bothers me with Stephanie more as Kayla and Steve were very close with Frankie and Max and that makes the dynamic a little eww. With Chelsea, it feels different for some reason, possibly because she never knew she was Bo's daughter until a year ago and there is a different dynamic there. I can't explain it but it just feels different.

Wasn't it, bar none, the best scene in DAYTIME this week, Jean?!!! (And yes, I know it's just Monday, but still.) I mean, it's like, "Wow, beautiful reunion...and Stephanie makes three!" It came full circle and I can't see how that reunion COULDN'T deeply touch a viewer, no matter how long they've watched Days. I sure as hell wasn't watching when Stayla were the 'it' couple but I was just shaking during that last scene. This is going to be THE couple to watch. I truly believe that!!

As usual, I loved everything about all the little nuances SN and MBE put into their performances today. When Della began kissing Steve's neck and he subtley angled his head away from her, the writing was on the wall then. I adored the ending of course. I loved that he couldn't stop touching Kayla -- her face, her waist, her hand. I loved that when she touched his chest to see if he was real, he grabbed her hand, first in one hand, then with both. And I LOVED how he was totally involved in the kiss.

But as I said earlier, my very favorite moment of the show was when he grabbed Della's arm and said "Kayla!" and that was that. Even Della got that it was over. I have to give EL credit. Her delivery of "Or is it Steve now?" gave me chills. The look on Steve's face helped, of course.

Adored the little moments between Kayla and Stephanie. What a great relationship. "Mom?" Head pops up. "That'd be me!" / "Pull up a fork" and "You know, those are all really good ideas" were all great little moments. I'm really warming up to SR. Yep, she has a strangely put together face, but she's beautiful and she certainly doesn't look like everyone else.

And also, did I hear her correctly? This !@#$%^&*] thinks Max is now 'the one' and they haven't so much as kissed? (they haven't, have they?)

Don't get me wrong, I love her and think Shayna's a great actress and she's REALLY making me like Stephanie with her whole unconventional beauty/tomboy but hottie schtick, but really, what is Stephanie thinking? And the fact that Chelsea knows the truth and does nothing with it is beyond me! Talk about learning an amazing amount of self-control.

Not being prepared to confess your love to the guy whose name you're drawing hearts around in your notebook (especially when the guy says he's in love with someone else) does NOT make you a lying, backstabbing !@#$%^&*]. It makes you a teenage girl.

Stephanie may be strong and independent and sure of herself, but I think she may be way more naive than the average late-teen girl when it comes to men. We already know she's still a virgin (or told her mom she was *g*). And Just look at the example of love she's had to work with. Her mother had "one true love" and never got over his death. Never let herself love another man. Kayla even says things to Stephanie like "there was never anyone but your father for me." Not 100% true, maybe, but true enough emotionally. The point is, how realistic is that really? Does Stephanie believe (emotionally if not intellectually) that there's only one man out there for her too and that if she has these feelings for Max, he must be "the one?" I just have a feeling that Stephanie has a lot to learn about the realities of dating and love and I'm really, really hoping that Max is just a totally unrealistic crush that will pass with time.

As for the rest of the show... meh. I'm so beyond sick to death of the quads being on my television screen EVERY. SINGLE. FREAKING. DAY having the EXACT same conversation. Honestly, can anyone explain to me why the writers are devoting so much time to them? Especially when both groups have essentially the same story arc?

Out of the 8 players, I can stand Phillip, Sami and Lucas. Belle, Shawn, Mimi, Austin and Carrie could all die in a bizarre egg-swapping accident tomorrow and I wouldn't shed a tear. And as much as I thought I would enjoy watching Mimi give Belle the verbal smackdown she so deserves, her hypocritical righteous indignation got on my last nerve today. I wanted to reach through the screen and smack the smug look off her heavily painted face but I'm pretty sure my hand would come back looking like Senor Wences.

I understand what you're saying, I just meant, regarding the chelsea/Max/Steph ONLY triangle, Stephanie's the one who is most in the wrong. Chelsea's only sin, if memory serves correctly, was the 'whore' thing. And of course treating Max like [!@#$%^&*] was bad too but, as it all relates to Stephanie, Chels wasn't the biggest offender.

That would be one of the best scenes to occur on DAYS in years. While under JER, I couldn't think of that possibly happening, but since Hogan is assuming the reigns of HW, I just dunno.

As for EJ, could he possibly be connected to Stefano? Maybe he's the gloved hand? I began to think about this when he kept Carrie's secret, maybe to just stir up the pot.

The story involving Kayla and Patch continues to keep me tuned in on the show. Without it, I seriously wouldn't be watching.

Well, we'll just have to agree to disagree, because I think Chelsea should be glad Maxwell is still even speaking to her after some of the [!@#$%^&*] she has pulled in this triangle. And, IMO, Steph has let alot of stuff go, when what I think she should have done is remembered who her daddy is and cut that bitch from her ass to her appetite.

When you put it that way, I believe you're onto something, GBB. Stephanie probably is just an immature lovesick girl. But see I was confused about her age. I thought she was to be 21 or 22, which would require more maturity on her part. But now you're saying she's in her teens? Wow, did not guess that.
